    Sharma c Jafta b Kapp 4 (Ind 102-6)

    Media caption,

Sharma dismissed for four as swipe down leg side is caught behind by Jafta

Yup, it's out. A little tickle down the leg side and pouched by Sinalo Jafta.

Marizanne Kapp strikes with her first over back in the attack. Deepti Sharma departs for four and India have lost 5-19.

  2. India reviewpublished at 26 overs

That's one of the more unconvincing reviews you'll see.

Deepti Sharma is given out caught behind and goes for a review at the last second. From her face... she thinks this is out.

I am surprised with how much India have struggled against spin today.

  4. Postpublished at 13:20 BST 9 October

    Thanks Sam.

It's been quite the collapse from India from 83-1 to 100-5 and they're looking a little clueless against the left-arm spin of Nonkululeko Mlaba and Chloe Tryon.

The hosts could do with a Deepti Sharma special right now.

  5. Ind 100-5published at 25 overs

Superb over from Chloe Tryon, just a leg-side wide conceded and the crucial wicket of Harmanpreet Kaur.

South Africa are in a brilliant position and to see if they can push on or if India can fight back, I'll hand you over to Elizabeth Botcherby.

This is what pressure does to you. That was a half-hearted shot by Harmanpreet, she was in two minds whether to go for it.

    Harmanpreet c Kapp b Tryon 9 (Ind 100-5)

    Media caption,

'That's a really big one!' India captain Harmanpreet Kaur caught for nine

India are in real bother now!

Tossed up wide of off by Chloe Tryon and Harmanpreet Kaur's eyes light up.

The right-hander goes after it but sends a thick outside edge looping towards backward point.

It barely carries to Marizanne Kapp but she gets her hands under it and the India captain is gone.

South Africa have been fantastic here. Over the last 14 overs they have gone for 45 runs and taken four wickets. India need to find a way to keep that scoreboard ticking.

  9. Ind 99-4published at 24 overs

It's slow progress for India at the moment as they try to rebuild, so they'll be grateful for a slight misfield at mid-wicket that gifts them a single.

Just three from Tumi Sekhukhune's over with Harmanpreet Kaur, nine from 22 balls, and Deepti Sharma, two from eight, giving themselves plenty of time to get settled in the middle.

India haven't been at their best in terms of fielding, we saw a few dropped catches against Pakistan. They are going to really have to be on the money today against a team like South Africa.

  11. Ind 96-4published at 23 overs

South Africa are up and about in the field and there are a couple of superb diving stops in the covers before Harmanpreet Kaur is finally able to get the ball through for a single.

There is a delay four balls into the over after Deepti Sharma's attempted sweep sees the ball deflect off her arm and into her helmet.

She seems absolutely fine but the umpire calls for a concussion check.

As expected, Deepti is OK to carry on and a couple of singles end the over.

  12. Ind 93-4published at 22 overs

Harmanpreet Kaur drives Tumi Sekhukhune out to deep cover for the only run of the over.

Deepti Sharma is the new batter for India but is yet to get off the mark as the bowler gets down to stop a well-timed straight drive.

  13. Ind 92-4published at 21 overs

A single and a wicket in left-arm spinner Chloe Tryon first over.

South Africa will know they have to try and press home their advantage now because India still have the batters to hit back and take them to a very competitive total.

That is a huge wicket for South Africa, it looked out at the first look. This is the last seven or eight overs of South Africa putting on pressure.

    Media caption,

'The finger goes up' - Tryon dismisses Rodrigues lbw for a duck as India lose review

Just! Umpire's call, clipping the top corner of leg stump!

The on-field call proves all important.

Jemimah Rodrigues can feel slightly unfortunate that it was given but the ball was going on to hit the stumps, albeit just barely, and India are in a spot of bother.

Chloe Tryon has a wicket in her first over.

  16. India reviewpublished at 20.4 overs

South Africa might well have broken the partnership quickly!

Chloe Tryon on, Jemimah Rodrigues goes for the sweep and misses.

It's given but Rodrigues sends it upstairs. It might have been sliding down...?

  17. Ind 91-3published at 20 overs

Two new batters for South Africa to try and get into now but they're two high-class players in Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues.

Break this partnership quickly, though, and India might start to get a little nervous.

I think South Africa have read this pitch well so far, slower balls have been held in the wicket.

All credit to South Africa, they have built that pressure and earned that wicket.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.4 overs

    Rawal c Brits b Sekhukhune 37 (Ind 91-3)

    Media caption,

Brits takes 'simple' catch from Rawal's leading edge to dismiss Indian batter for 37

Leading edge goes straight up... and comfortably taken at mid-wicket.

Lovely slower ball from Tumi Sekhukhune to deceive the set batter, Praika Rawal, who is through the shot far too early.

The ball balloons into the leg side and Tazmin Brits is there to take a straightforward catch. South Africa keep chipping away.

  20. Ind 87-2published at 19 overs

Nonkululeko Mlaba gets away with a honking delivery - a full toss on leg stump - as Harmanpreet Kaur sweeps it straight to short fine leg.

The spinner is fortunate she was bowling to a new batter, give it a couple more overs and you'd expect to see Harmanpreet smashing that to the boundary.

As it is, there are just a couple from the over. Decent spell for South Africa.
