Adam Zampa has flown the best part of 10,000 miles for this match so it's unsurprising he is straight into the Invincibles XI for his first match of the tournament.

Rockets make one change with Sam Cook replaced by Ben Sanderson.

Sam Billings has won the toss and has decided his Oval Invincibles, who are chasing a third successive title, are going to have a bat.

Is that a surprise? Most teams like chasing.

Right then, it's time to turn our attention to the men's final between Trent Rockets and Oval Invincibles.

We've both thoroughly enjoyed Perrie Edwards' half-time performance here in the office, but now it's time for Matthew Henry to focus on the cricket.

That was a clinical performance. Northern Superchargers obviously rode the emotions and momentum they gained from yesterday, they won their last three group games as well. It shows the benefit of peaking at the right time.

Watching Southern Brave win every single game in the group stage and then go on to lose in the final is a bit disappointing for them, but all credit to Northern Superchargers because they played fantastically.

Northern Superchargers' Kate Cross speaking on BBC Two: "It doesn't feel very real, I've already lost my voice! There were still people padded up ahead of me at the end so I wasn't too worried, but when [Phoebe] Litchfield got out then I started to think that you never know. We had two of the coolest Aussies out there to close out the match for us, they did a job for us.

"Hollie [Armitage] has lead it brilliantly. She won't get as much credit as she should because she hasn't got as many runs as she'd like, but how she leads this group is second to none. She is an incredible character.

"I love how much this team plays for each other. There's not a single ego and everyone wants each other to do well. It's felt like a team effort every time that we've won and that performance just showed that."

On her performances in the tournament after a tough couple of weeks: "It's quite easy to think of yourself as an individual in this moment, but honestly this is one of the best things I've ever been a part of. They have made it so enjoyable and they have picked me up when I'm down. My teammates have made me feel like I'm good at cricket because things can happen and change quite quickly. They are a brilliant group."

Here comes the real test of a captain, the lifting of the enormous 'H' trophy.

Fair play to Hollie Armitage, who makes it look easy, lifting it high above her head as she leads the Superchargers on their lap of honour around a packed Lord's.

    Lovely scenes.

Superchargers' Annabel Sutherland speaking about hitting the winning runs on BBC Two: "I didn't get any of it. I was happy the wind took it.

"It is an absolute joy to play in purple, do it two years in a row and to finish with success this year. We enjoy each other's company. It is hands down the funnest group I have been a part of."

Nicola Carey finishes the tournament without a batting average, by the way, having batted four times without getting out.

She scored 99 runs including two key knocks in the Eliminator and the final, at a strike-rate of 167.79.

Having replaced her fellow Autralian all-rounder Georgia Wareham, who had to withdraw with an injury, Lucy Higham sprints to their dressing room to get a cardboard cutout of Wareham to join them for the celebrations!

Northern Superchargers batter Nicola Carey speaking on BBC Two: "I feel a bit embarrassed about getting the 'Match Hero' award because I thought our girls bowled really well. Look, this is just unbelievable. This squad has just been amazing the whole time I've been here, which is a really short time, but everyone thoroughly deserves this. It was so much fun out there.

"We have such a good group. I've only been here a couple of weeks, but you can see how much everyone loves playing together and we had a really nice backend to the tournament. It was unbelievable to play like we did today.

"I'm not sure how we'll celebrate but we will probably see you [Alex Hartley] later. We'll find a way to celebrate."

A fantastic win for Northern Superchargers! The way they went about their cricket in the last couple of games has been really positive. They have made the past two games really exciting and really entertaining.

They came up against a team that were unbeaten the whole tournament, but when you have that exciting brand of cricket then you can push your opponent. Their approach eventually pushed them towards the win. Well deserved.

That is Northern Superchargers' first Hundred title, in either men's or women's competition.

The players waited until the very last second to see Sutherland's shot go for six before sprinting out on to the field in pure joy.

That is a lovely moment for Kate Cross too, who was very open on the No Balls podcast about her struggles with being left out of England's World Cup side recently, but she has a huge grin on her face.

Nobody can argue that Northern Superchargers haven't been the better team today. It has been a marvellous effort from them and they have been seen over the line by their experienced overseas players.

The jubilation amongst those players. They had the high of winning yesterday afternoon and they carried that through to today.

Annabel Sutherland wins it with a six!

What a performance from the two Australians there, barely breaking a sweat in completing what could've been a nervy run chase after Phoebe Litchfield got out.

Sutherland finishes unbeaten on 28 from 25 balls and Nicola Carey has played a gem with 35 from the same number.

This is quality cricket! Talk about lowering your shot and using your feet.

It should've been a better effort from the established Sophie Devine, but she's on her way out and Annabel Sutherland is on her way to the top of world cricket. She is walking this game all the way home.
