If Lauren Bell can take one or two wickets then Southern Brave could squeeze things here, but it does feel a long way off at the moment.

Southern Brave are flat out there and Northern Superchargers are cruising.

    Over to you, Lauren Bell.

She's got five balls left to produce some magic.

It is certainly looking like an uphill task for Southern Brave at the moment.

Youngster Tilly Corteen-Coleman has had a brilliant tournament at just 18 years old, but she will need to produce some magic here to drag her team back into this game.

Superchargers are in complete control now.

Sutherland and Carey are happy to tick the singles off Tilly Corteen-Coleman and Brave opt for their strategic timeout.

We've just had confirmation of the attendance for this match and it's 22,542 - a new record for a match in The Hundred women's competition.

The previous record was 22,099 from last year's final.

Nicola Carey whacked 31 off 12 balls yesterday and she's playing another cracking innings here.

Steered behind point for four more, and she's taken all the pressure off Annabel Sutherland and hasn't allowed the Brave bowlers to get back in the game after dismissing Litchfield.

This is good measured batting from Northern Superchargers, just picking their moments to try to attack and keeping the run rate at a run per ball. When that's the case, you feel in control and like you can win the game.

It's just important to keep hitting the middle of the bat and running hard, then you can force some errors like that one from Danni Wyatt-Hodge. A rare mistake there, that heavy rain shower seems to have greased up the outfield.

She has won in eight of 11 chases she has been involved in this year.

    Oh dear.

It's another boundary for Carey, but gifted by some sloppy fielding from Danni Wyatt-Hodge, who lets the ball through at long-on.

Carey is testament to Australia's depth in women's cricket, which is staggering - she hasn't played for them since 2022.

    And there's another!

Slow and loopy from Chloe Tryon, and rightfully punished by Carey.

Northern Superchargers' Grace Ballinger speaking to BBC Two: "I'm a very nervous watcher. I feel pretty out of control watching us bat. It's a big game but the girls are going nicely, we just need to get over the line here.

"Kate Cross with those two wickets in two balls was just exceptional. She really changed the momentum of the game so we're definitely pleased with this run chase. We just want to get the second half of this match done now.

"I think just keeping it really simple with the ball has been working for me. I've looked to hit a good line and length while also getting some swing on the ball early, that's probably my super-strength. I've just been trying to hold those good areas."

Nicola Carey thumps the ball down the ground for four off Brave skipper Georgia Adams.

Annabel Sutherland is happy to rotate the strike with Carey for now, but they could do with a couple of boundaries to ease the nerves.

You don't want to be leaving it too late in a final.

I told you I would've given that lbw decision out! You don't want to put that on the screen at Lord's. As soon as that was bowled, I knew it was hitting the stumps.

    Hello!

Nicola Carey was struck on the pad first ball, and the appeal was so muted it was barely worth mentioning.

Chloe Tryon and Georgia Adams didn't even bother discussing the review but the replay has just shown it to be hitting middle stump!

    How costly will that be?

That's just put the cat amongst the pigeons! A great breakthrough for Southern Brave.

We were just talking about where they were going to get the breakthrough from and it's just a little top edge sweep. There was a bit of bounce there from Chloe Tryon.

That's another little screw in the pressure cooker.

Phoebe Litchfield and Annabel Sutherland won't want to go back out there and score at one a ball. They will be trying to find the boundaries and finish this final off early.

Right, we're back and the delay wasn't long enough to take any time out of the game, so the equation remains the same.

Southern Brave will hope that the break has disrupted Phoebe Litchfield's rhythm in particular.
