    Yeah, this kid can play.

Back-to-back boundaries from Perrin, the first is a short, wide freebie from Lauren Bell which she just helps on its way.

Bell, possibly frustrated, tries a short ball but Perrin backs away and lifts it over the keeper for four.

Brilliant batting from Davina Perrin. She's just looking to manipulate the field, knowing that if she does play that little dink she can find the boundary.

In yesterday’s innings, Davina Perrin showed no mercy to any type of bowler. She struck at 245 against pace and 221 against spin, hitting 15 fours and 5 sixes.

Her century was the second quickest seen in the Hundred, in either the men’s or the women’s competition.

    Lovely.

Davina Perrin showed us all her power yesterday but her first boundary here is a deft touch, paddling the ball past the keeper for four.

Sophie Devine is looking for that swing back away from the right-hander, but maybe she just needs to stop swinging for now.

She's got her angles all wrong here!

    Target 116

Sophie Devine didn't get Alex's memo about keeping the stumps in play.

She fires three wides way down the leg side, keeping the keeper Rhianna Southby on her toes - she does well to make sure none of them went to the boundary.

In women's cricket, if you keep the stumps in play on a surface like this then it can be really hard to score.

Northern Superchargers will have to keep looking for the singles when the boundaries aren't there and keep rotating their strike.

Well, what a lovely way to open your account! A beautiful shot from Alice Davidson-Richards.

Lauren Bell was just searching for the outside edge with a bit of away shape but it was full and Davidson-Richards just fires it off the bat. She seems like a really calm head.

This is going to be a good opening partnership.

  9. Superchargers 7-0published at 95 balls left

    Target 116

Alice Davidson-Richards contributed 18 in an opening stand of 105 with Perrin yesterday.

That is not a blemish on her, merely an indication of Perrin's dominance, but it's the all-rounder who gets things going today with a glorious cover drive for four.

We are starting with one superstar in Lauren Bell bowling to an up and coming superstar in Davina Perrin.

All eyes will be on Perrin after yesterday, but Bell is the leading wicket-taker in this year's competition and has been absolutely outstanding for Southern Brave.

Relief for the youngster, who gets the innings under way with a single from the second ball.

Northern Superchargers love chasing and the line-up they have is incredible. Davina Perrin is going to kickstart their innings with a bang and then Phoebe Litchfield can also back things up.

    This is a fun match-up.

Lauren Bell has had a brilliant tournament with 19 wickets at an average of just over 7.

Davina Perrin made the headlines yesterday with a breath-taking century from just 42 balls.

Only one will be a Hundred winner by the end of this.

It has clouded over a bit at Lord's but I don't think we have anything to worry about in terms of rain.

Superchargers will hope not, they've given themselves a great chance to claim their maiden Hundred title - but then Brave's bowling has been very impressive this year so it's not over yet.

Thanks, Matt. Surely Superchargers are favourites here, especially considering the confidence they'll take from yesterday.

He's not wrong about Carlos' outfit either, by the way - it's a fetching pink two-piece but I suspect that Matt is just jealous he wouldn't be able to pull it off.

Don't forget you can watch this on BBC Two. You'll see the most outrageously-dressed Carlos Brathwaite if you do.

It's time for me to hand to Ffion Wynne for the chase...

If Superchargers do win this, so much will be because of Kate Cross' spell early on. Those two wickets in two balls - the huge wickets of Maia Bouchier and Laura Wolvaardt - limited the Brave's scoring.

This would be the lowest target defended here at Lord's in the women's Hundred, but if you're Southern Brave you have to keep believing. They have to win so net run-rate doesn't matter anymore.

You just never know, a few early wickets could do anything. Northern Superchargers' openers are going to be so important this afternoon.

  19. Interval - Brave 115-6published at 15:27 British Summer Time 31 August

Brave get a single to finish. Superchargers still have to be favourites, they're getting together to make sure morale stays high, but that little flurry at the end has given Brave a chance.

Northern Superchargers need 116 runs to win the Women's Hundred.
