Tough. Freya Kemp drills one back at Lucy Higham and the spinner cannot get her hands in position in time.

This is excellent from Freya Kemp, fantastic hitting.

It's clear that she knows what Nicole Carey's plan is, it is telegraphed from the bowler, so as a result of that she can just stand there and swing through the line of it. That's something we might also see Davina Perrin doing later.

Davina Perrin's family have been tracked down by Alex Hartley on BBC Two. They've hardly got any voice left after all of the cheering yesterday!

Freya Kemp has scored two thirds of her runs down the ground in the ‘V’ during this year’s tournament. No player with over 100 runs has scored more.

Sam shot, same result to end the over. Freya Kemp and Sophie Devine are dragging Brave back into this game. Superchargers call for the timeout.

I can't for the life of me understand why Kate Cross has been dropped from the World Cup squad.

I love that Freya Kemp and Sophie Devine are going all around the ground.

It did feel as though those shackles had to be broken at some point in time, so they have chosen to go after Kate Cross.

  9. Brave 74-3published at 65 balls

    Devine 22, Kemp 11

One of those seamers, Kate Cross, returns but is hit to the boundary by Freya Kemp. Cross may have gone for 22 runs in 15 balls but you'd take that every day for the wickets of Maia Bouchier and Laura Wolvaardt.

Northern Superchargers seamers with all three wickets so far. They have been heavily reliant on seamers throughout the competition, with 70% of all their deliveries bowled by them - comfortably the highest of any team.

It has been a bit of a grind for Southern Brave so far. Sophie Devine is trying to take responsibility here, as a senior overseas player.

Southern Brave have defended small run totals so far in this competition, so they won't be too worried just yet.

  12. Brave 66-3published at 60 balls

Superchargers scored 214-5 yesterday, although that was batting first and without the pressure of a final. They have comfortably pulled off chases of 126 and 129 earlier in the competition.

Brave will want to get up and around 140 at least.

Southern Brave's Lauren Bell speaking pitchside: "I'm excited to have a bowl today. Hopefully I can do a good job for the team. We know Lord's can be a bit tricky with the slope as well. It looks like a tricky pitch so I'm excited to get out there in a bit.

"I was watching Northern Superchargers' eliminator yesterday as an England player. I was thinking that Davina Perrin's innings was so exciting but then I remembered I have to play against her today, so then I was working out how to bowl to her. She's an amazing talent and I'm just excited that she's English."

Phoebe Litchfield whirs into action on the boundary edge as Sophie Devine gets a top edge to off-spinner Lucy Higham. The rapid Aussie makes good ground and gives it the full-length dive but cannot get there in time to take the catch.

Nice strong shots from Sophie Devine. She's had enough now and played herself in. She clearly realises that Southern Brave have got to get some sort of total on the board.

Linsey Smith will be kicking herself. She's given Devine some gifts, but it's not Christmas just yet!

  16. Brave 55-3published at 50 balls

    Sophie Devine responds.

The pressure was building - Brave going nowhere. Devine clobbers Linsey Smith for two quick boundaries to get things moving.

It would be awesome to see Sophie Devine step up for Southern Brave here. This is quite a key knock for her now.

I feel like she can take a couple of balls, get in and get used to the pitch, then rely on her hitting later on in the innings. They don't want to lose another wicket now.

From this point, Southern Brave will want a 140 runs minimum.

  18. Brave 45-3published at 45 balls

Freya Kemp joins Sophie Devine in the middle. She's had a good tournament with the bat but her best innings have come whacking it late on. Now she needs to stretch out a longer innings.

An absolute beauty from Annabel Sutherland! A big nip back at Danni Wyatt-Hodge, who was caught on the crease, but that was an absolute ripper.

She just used that Lord's slope that we talk about a lot, took up a great seam position and the ball just nipped back in. You can't do too much about that - it is a beauty.

Northern Superchargers are turning the screw here now, Danni Wyatt-Hodge is a big player. Three big guns gone.

Annabel Sutherland is off celebrating like someone who has scored the winner in a cup final. She has bowled Danni Wyatt-Hodge with a beauty that nips down the slope. Superchargers are well on top here.
