45% of all balls bowled by the Northern Superchargers today would have hit the stumps - this is their highest proportion for any match so far in the tournament.

Two boundaries in two for Mady Villiers. These are crucial, crucial runs.

Five balls to go. Nic Carey will bowl them.

  6. Brave 103-6published at 94 balls

Or maybe Mady Villiers is going to whack the boundaries too! It's not usualy her way but she swings this over mid-wicket for four - much -needed one for Brave.

The scoop is definitely on at the minute. The fine leg and third man are up inside the circle, so if Mady Villiers feels confident enough to access behind the wicketkeeper then the shot is on here.

  8. Brave 99-6published at 93 balls

Mady Villiers is going to try to sprint every run here. A score of 110 surely won't be enough against this line-up.

Georgia Adams was just looking for that single that wasn't there. It was brilliant from Kate Cross off her own bowling, a simple underarm to Bess Heath with the gloves.

Northern Superchargers have another key wicket at an important time, a silly run out for Southern Brave.

Numbers 6-11 for the Southern Brave have faced only 86 balls so far in the tournament, so will be feeling a little undercooked. The only team who’s lower order has faced fewer deliveries is the other finalists, Northern Superchargers (68 balls).

  11. Brave 95-6published at 90 balls

    Tryon 2, Villiers 1

For all the talk about Brave's unbeaten season this year, their success over the years, remember they have lost two of the three finals they have competed previously in The Hundred.

Kate Cross finishes with 2-23, plus a run-out, to end a fine season for her with the ball. If she's not needed with the bat, it'll probably mean Superchargers are champions.

And there's another wicket! Georgia Adams sets off for a run that is never on. Kate Cross shows good composure to collect the ball, under-arm it to the wicketkeeper and Adams is miles out.

Southern Brave now have Chloe Tryon and Georgia Adams trying to start an innings when they need to score quickly. It's perfect for the Superchargers.

Tryon can whack it. Adams is more of a nurdler.

Fantastic bowling from Annabel Sutherland! Freya Kemp has enjoyed advancing down the pitch and hitting balls on the half-volley back past seamers, but not today.

That ball was banged in cross seam, off the top edge, and the fielder sprinted towards it - a good grab.

Freya Kemp threatened to make the most out of the rest of these balls for Southern Brave, but she looks forlorn as she walks away.

Sutherland strikes! Superchargers have to be big favourites now.

The Aussie all-rounder bangs it in short to Freya Kemp, Kemp gets a top-edge and Nicola Carey runs in to take a very good catch.

Linsey Smith sticking to her tried and tested method of keeping it on the stumps: 44% of all her deliveries in this competition would have hit the stumps - the highest of any bowler.

Superchargers turn back to Linsey Smith who quickly rattles off three dots to new batter Chloe Tryon to keep the pressure on.

Now they go back to Annabel Sutherland. She still has 10 deliveries to bowl.

Good bowling from Lucy Higham, it just felt like something was going to give there. Freya Kemp was going fluently at the other end so it was time to throw caution to the wind.

It's not a bad strike out there towards deep mid-wicket, but Phoebe Litchfield isn't going to make a mistake when she's offered that. A big breakthrough for Northern Superchargers.

This is another big moment. Having dropped a catch and been hit for four, Lucy Higham responds with the wicket of Sophie Devine. It's good bowling. Higham slowed it down and force Devine to drag it from outside off stump. Phoebe Litchfield has safe hands on the boundary.
