    Somerset 55-1 - target 393

Will Williams is the new bowler for Lancashire.

A little sign of nerves there as Archie Vaughan is beaten outside off stump and opts to shuffle down the pitch before defending the next one - not a tactic he has used before in this innings.

Williams gives him a bit of width, he cuts, and is lucky again that it didn't take the edge.

    Maiden over.

  2. Durham leadpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 19 September

    Surrey 415 v Durham 262 & 154-7

Colin Ackermann and Bas de Leede held up Surrey in the first innings with a stand of 70.

They've got another alliance going here, worth 34 so far, that's taken Durham into the lead.

It won't quite be the innings romp that looked likely before lunch but Surrey are still perfectly placed to win the game handsomely this afternoon.

But still some work to do.

  3. wicket

WICKET: Northeast lbw b Coad 0published at 14:10 British Summer Time 19 September

    Glam 239 & 0-1 v Yorks 361 & 273

Third ball and Sam Northeast is on his way.

Awful start to Glamorgan's innings and a continuation of their skipper's bad run of form – this being a fourth blob in his last seven Championship innings.

Northeast, who has gone 0, 16, 0, 9, 0, 13, 0 in his last four Championship outings, did not shift his feet at all and that was bang in front.

  4. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 19 September

    Somerset 55-1 - target 393

Tom Lammonby takes his life in his hands by driving at a wide one from George Balderson - George Bell gets his left hand to the ball at first slip but can't cling on and it runs away for four.

The next one is driven uppishly through mid-off for four by the left- hander - this is perhaps a little more frenetic than his team-mates in the dressing room would like.

  5. NOTTS NEED 23 TO WINpublished at 14:07 British Summer Time 19 September

    Kent 225 & 230 v Notts 433

Joey Evison's resistance comes to an end as he slaps a drive off Rob Lord to extra cover where sub fielder Liam Patterson-White takes the catch.

Notts will now chase 23 for a win which will boost their first division survival hopes plenty whatever happens at Old Trafford.

  6. wicket

WICKET Prest lbw Virdi 40published at 14:07 British Summer Time 19 September

    Hampshire 462 & 178-8 v Worcs 273

Tom Prest rocks back towards his stumps as he looks to get Amar Virdi away but misses the ball and there's only going to be one outcome.

He's plumb and falls ten runs short of a half-century.

Virdi now has eight wickets in the match and the Pears have taken three wickets since lunch.

Hampshire probably planned to have a lead of about 400 - it stands at 369 at present with two wickets left.

  7. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 19 September

    Somerset 45-1 - target 393

That's the second time Tom Bailey has angled one in at the hip and been whipped fine for four by Archie Vaughan. The 18-year-old opener is now 21 not out.

  8. 100 for Scott Curriepublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 19 September

    Northants 383 v Leics 203 & 246-8

A clip for two backward of square brings up a maiden century for Scott Currie in his 15th match.

159 balls, 13 fours and two sixes to save Leicestershire from an innings defeat.

The ninth wicket has now added over 50 and Northants, though not concerned yet, will be a little irritated.

  9. wicket

WICKET Fuller c Roderick b van Beek 8published at 14:04 British Summer Time 19 September

    Hampshire 462 & 176-7 v Worcs 273

Another for Logan van Beek and it's not a dismissal James Fuller will want to look back and watch again.

His feet are planted and he half-heartedly swings at the ball as it takes a nick through to wicket-keeper Gareth Roderick.

Van Beek has 2-44 and Felix Organ is the new batter.

    Hampshire's lead is 365.

    Kevin Howells
    BBC 5 Live Sports Extra

"He (Archie Vaughan) shows every sign of being a young man who is composed in this situation."

  11. Postpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 19 September

    Somerset 40-1 - target 393

He did a good job with the bat this morning and now George Balderson is into the attack for Lancashire.

Four slips in place and he is unlucky as he beats Archie Vaughan with three successive deliveries.

  12. wicket

WICKET: Moriarty b Harris 13published at 14:01 British Summer Time 19 September

    Glam 239 v Yorks 361 & 273

James Harris has 5-73 and Yorkshire are all out, setting a target of 395 to win.

Dan Moriarty had flashed his blade nicely at a couple but missed that one, the ball crashing through the gate to rearrange middle and off.

Norman: "Calling all experts...Somerset given 5 run penalty for "fake fielding" Please can someone explain this."

*for anyone who missed this yesterday, our man at the ground says that a Somerset player was penalised for deceiving the batsmen by pretending to field the ball, when he actually left it to a team-mate.

  15. Postpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 19 September

    Somerset 35-1 - target 393

    It's all happening.

Tom Lammonby tries to cut but the ball - from Anderson Phillip - is too close to him and he is lucky an under-edge doesn't disturb the stumps.

Phillip bangs in a wayward bouncer, Lammonby tries to hook but makes no contact.

The next one is outside off stump, Lammonby is drawn into the cut again and it just misses the top edge.

  16. wicket

WICKET Dawson b van Beek 51published at 13:52 British Summer Time 19 September

    Hampshire 462 & 166-6 v Worcs 273

    Liam DawsonImage source, Rex Features

Liam Dawson doesn't last long after reaching that half-century.

Logan van Beek gets one through the Hampshire man's defences and uproots the off stump.

Dawson can be proud of that innings and he has 907 runs for the season now.

With one game remaining, you wouldn't back against him reaching 1,000 runs for the campaign.

He's behind Jamie Porter and Dan Worrall, and level with Ollie Hannon-Dalby, on the bowling leaderboard.

  17. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 13:51 British Summer Time 19 September

    Somerset 33-1 - target 393

    Big relief for Somerset.

Archie Vaughan edges Tom Bailey to second slip where Keaton Jennings makes a hash of a fairly standard catch.

He won't be happy about that.

    Hampshire 462 & 160-5 v Worcs 273

    Liam DawsonImage source, Rex Features

Liam Dawson gets to his half-century.

What a season he is having by the way - almost 900 runs in total and joint-third on the wicket takers list with 48.

  19. 150 up for Hampshirepublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 19 September

    Hampshire 462 & 150-5 v Worcs 273

The hosts are scoring a little quicker now as they look to push the lead up and give Worcestershire a big old total to chase.

The lead is currently 339 - how many do they need?

Liam Dawson is impressing yet again, he's on 47 after a six, and Tom Prest is on 33.

  20. wicket

WICKET: Bess c Cooke b ven der Gugten 47published at 13:45 British Summer Time 19 September

    Glam 239 v Yorks 361 & 252-9

Good grab behind the stumps by Chris Cooke, diving across Colin Ingram at first slip to take the catch.

Save the blushes of Ingram after the South African shelled an easy catch to dismiss Ben Coad the ball before.
