Surrey beat Durham by 10 wickets

It's an emphatic 23-point win for Surrey in what could have been a tricky fixture.

But Durham haven't shown the best of themselves this week and are very well beaten.

Surrey are now guaranteed at least a 12-point advantage over Somerset ahead of their final game next week at Essex.

All eyes now turn to Old Trafford because a third successive Championship title will be sealed if Somerset don't chase down that big target against Lancashire.

    Hampshire 462 & 204 v Worcs 273 & 35-1 – Worcs require 359

Two overs to go until tea.

Liam Dawson is on for a bowl and has a silly mid-on to Jake Libby, but the batter gets that one away for four runs.

  3. SURREY BEAT DURHAM BY 10 WICKETSpublished at 15:33 British Summer Time 19 September

    Surrey 415 & 25-0 v Durham 262 & 177

A thick edge from Rory Burns earns a streaky boundary to third man before Dom Sibley turns a single to deep square.

One hit away now for Surrey.

Then even closer as Chemar Holder oversteps.

And then Burns flicks through midwicket for two to see Surrey home.

It's taken them only five overs to mop up this little target and they win by 10 wickets.

  4. 'Gettable target'published at 15:31 British Summer Time 19 September

It’s gettable. It’s not an out of sight target which perhaps it could have been.

It would need a monumental effort from the Pears but with plenty of time left in the match, we still have an intriguing contest on our hands.

    Northants 0-0 - target 137 v Leics

Northamptonshire would have hoped to have the game wrapped up by now.

But they're out after tea with 137 to chase, which needs a little work.

33 overs left tonight, plus potentially eight more for the extra half hour.

So 3.34-an-over needed to get the job done tonight.

Can Leicestershire take a few with them?

    Surrey 16-0 - target 25 v Durham

Rory Burns and Dom Sibley run singles either side of the wicket before James Minto gives Sibley a leg stump half-volley that he clips between long leg and deep square for four.

Minto then sends a wide way outside off and edge from Burns to third man moves Surrey into double figures.

Burns then rocks back to pull Minto for four through midwicket and Surrey are halfway there already.

Massive wicket for Lancashire. Anderson Phillip strikes as Tom Abell plays around his front bat and the umpire raises the finger.

Things were going well for Somerset, who need 393 to win, until a few minutes ago, but the Toms - Lammonby and Abell - have gone in quick succession and that is tea.

Archie Vaughan was dropped at second slip and is 56 not out, but the visitors need a lot more from him now if they are to get close to their target and keep their title hopes alive.

Hampshire will feel that (Roderick) is a very big wicket indeed.

Just a hint of movement there.

Roderick was basically on the Bakerloo when the ball was on the Central.

He rarely gives it away Roderick, he’s a gritty cricketer.

    Somerset 117-2 - target 393

Too much width from the pacey Anderson Phillip and Tom Abell is under way with four, cut away to the point boundary. Two overs till tea.

    Somerset 113-2 - target 393

Archie Vaughan tries to pull a short one from Anderson Phillip and a thin edge flies away for four via his helmet.

The youngster must have a mandatory concussion check, but he's fine.

WICKET Roderick b Abbott 7published at 15:16 British Summer Time 19 September

    Hampshire 462 & 204 v Worcs 273 & 16-1 – Worcs require 378

First Pears wicket down for Hampshire and it's a beaut from Kyle Abbott who sends Gareth Roderick's stumps flying.

Roderick seemed to have it covered as he stepped forward to meet the delivery but the ball flies past his bat and the bails are gone.

The Pears opener made 94 in the first innings but has gone cheaply this time around.

  14. wicket

WICKET Lammonby b Wells 49published at 15:15 British Summer Time 19 September

    Somerset 109-2 - target 393

    Setback for Somerset.

Tom Lammonby plays right across the line to a full length ball from Luke Wells and is bowled.

Wrong shot to choose so close to tea. Tom Abell is the new batsman.

    Surrey 0-0 - target 25 v Durham

A little morsel for Surrey to take in after tea.

    Somerset 109-1 - target 393

Big moment for Archie Vaughan as a single off Luke Wells takes him to a maiden first-class 50 from 84 balls.

He's been beaten a few times, but this has been a highly promising innings by the 18-year-old.

Somerset will be hoping he can keep this going.

LEICESTERSHIRE ALL OUTpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 19 September

    Northants 383 v Leics 203 & 316 (Kimber b Zaib 4)

Louie Kimber goes to paddle sweep Saif Zaib, misses, and is bowled to finally end this innings.

But not before Sam Wood had swung Yuzvendra Chahal down the ground for his third six! He finishes unbeaten on 57.

From 92-7 that's a serious effort from the Foxes' lower order.

A target of 137 doesn't sound enough to defend but you never know.

    Chase to begin after tea.

    Somerset 106-1 - target 393

Anderson Phillip bounces Tom Lammonby and a top-edged pull flies over the keeper for four.

Lammonby and Archie Vaughan came together when Andy Umeed fell to the second ball of Somerset's innings and now have a century stand.

The boundary takes Lammonby to 48 not out and Vaughan has 49.

A maiden from George Hill and just 18 added in the last seven and a half overs since the departure of Colin Ingram.

No urgent need to do anything but hold on to your wicket for the hosts but Yorkshire will want another break before tea.

    Hampshire 462 & 204 v Worcs 273 & 6-0 – Worcs require 388
