Hants 336-6 v Durham 511
Sunshine breaks out at the Utilita Bowl and Ben Brown takes his cue to bring up a first century of the season and a 26th first class career ton.
It has come off 178 deliveries and is brought up with a mangled reverse sweep which evades Ollie Robinson behind the stumps and trickles to the boundary.
It has been a captain's knock and has dragged them to what will be a third batting bonus point (350) and the avoidance of the follow on if they can get another 18 runs (362).
Leics v Northants 78-4 (target 289)
The final session of day three at Grace Road has been delayed due to bad light which had brought about an early tea.
Northamptonshire will resume on 78-4, still 211 runs shy of their target, after an outstanding spell of swing bowling from 20-year-old Josh Hull (3-13) dismantled the visitors' top order.
The hosts will hope the delay to play is only a brief one as they look to extend their lead over second-placed Derbyshire at the top of Division Two.
Hants 334-6 v Durham 511
A clip off his legs as Matthew Potts strays down leg and an angled steer through the gully region brings Ben Brown within one boundary of his century on 96.
Middlesex 238 v Kent 129 & 447-8
What a return to form for Kent captain Daniel Bell-Drummond.
After a run of low scores to start the season, the 31-year-old brings up a double century at Lord's.
His side were bowled out for 129 in their first innings. They now lead by 338 and are big favourites in this Division Two game.

What we do know about this Durham side is that they are not afraid that if Hampshire do meet that follow-on target is to dangle a carrot of declaration.
We know that they aggressive, they want results and don't want draws.
Somerset 145 & 108-5 (target 321) v Essex 206 & 259
Somerset skipper Lewis Gregory is not going to go down without a fight and has struck two lovely fours off Simon Harmer's first over after tea.
Hants 321-6 v Durham 511
Ben Brown and Felix Organ are back out at a slightly overcast Utilita Bowl and George Drissell has the ball in hand with Hampshire trailing by 189.
Somerset 145 & 91-5 (target 321) v Essex 206 & 259
Jamie Porter has the ball in hand and Lewis Gregory (11) and James Rew (3) have a giant job on their hands with the bats.
Leics 304 & 175 v Northants 191 & 78-4 (target 289)
A dark cloud overhangs Grace Road and an early tea is taken by the umpires.
The second session of day three has undoubtedly belonged to Leicestershire following a fine spell of swing bowling from 20-year-old Josh Hull, who picked up three wickets, all bowled.
Northamptonshire still require 211 runs with just six second-innings wickets remaining but remain in this match for now after Saif Zaib was dropped on four by Foxes captain Peter Handscomb.
Kent captain Daniel Bell-Drummond goes to tea on 195 at Lord's.
The visitors are 436-8 and 327 ahead of Middlesex.
Gloucestershire look set for a first-innings advantage over Lancashire at Old Trafford. They're 433-6 and trail by just 17 now. Ollie Price has a career-best 181 not out.
Glamorgan are in a spot of bother on 34-3 in their second innings against Derbyshire. They lead by 115.
Leics v Northants 74-4 (target 289)
Another big appeal after Leicestershire's Logan van Beek traps George Bartlett on the pads but on first viewing it looked high and umpire Graham Lloyd shakes his head.
Somerset 145 & 91-5 (target 321) v Essex 206 & 259
Simon Harmer has bowled superbly and it is the South African spinner who has ripped all hope from the Somerset ranks with three wickets in the afternoon session.
The target of 321 is nominal now and the outcome of this game feels inevitable with Essex on course for a second win of the season.
For Somerset, there appears to be a crisis of confidence at the top of the order which requires a solution if they are to be a factor as the season progresses.
Back out in 15 for what may be the last session of the match.
Hants 321-6 (trail by 190 runs) v Durham 511
Echoes of Durham's first innings here at Southampton with Hampshire wriggling off the hook like their visitors did.
Durham were in trouble at 82-4 but recovered strongly through their middle to lower order. Now Hampshire, who were 129-3, are doing something simliar.
Ben Brown (87) and Felix Organ (22) have added 62 runs and are looking increasingly comfortable.
You get the feeling if this pair take the follow-on off the table (362 is the target) a great deal of intensity could go from this contest.
Leics v Northants 67-4 (target 289)
With his final ball of the over, Logan van Beek gets Saif Zaib on the drive but he edges it straight to Peter Handscomb at second slip who drops an absolute dolly.
That may well have been game, set and match for the league leaders.
Will Zaib come back to make Leicestershire pay now?
Leics v Northants 62-4 (target 289)
Logan van Beek is now into the attack for Leicestershire and in his first ball, George Bartlett slashes at a wide on and gets a rather streaky four.
A statement of intent from Bartlett. It doesn't look like either side are playing for a fourth day here.
Somerset 78-5 (target 321) v Essex

Live by the sword and die by the sword.
Tom Banton tried the reverse sweep again and looked very disappointed with that dismissal.
Keogh c Hill b Holland 8 (Leics v Northants 58-4, target 289)
In his second over back into the attack, Leicestershire's Ian Holland gets Rob Keogh to chip one up straight to Lewis Hill at mid wicket who doesn't have to move a muscle and takes a simple catch.
What a disappointing way to get out.
Hants 305-6 (trail by 206 runs) v Durham 511
Ben Brown (74) and Felix Organ (19) are going okay and brought up the 300 in a partnership which is now up to 46.
A second batting bonus point is also in the bag and they are now chipping away towards removing the follow on as an option with 362 the target.
Leics v Northants 58-3 (target 289)
Leicestershire all-rounder Ian Holland is back into the attack and in his third ball, George Bartlett runs the ball down to third man for four runs.
During the over, six biplanes fly past Grace Road on the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
