  1. Postpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 24 August

    Yorks 17-0 - target 103

Short and wide by Jaydev Unadkat and Finlay Bean cracks it away square for four. No alarms so far for Yorkshire.

  2. wicket

WICKET V D Gugten lbw b Morley 0published at 18:20 British Summer Time 24 August

    Derbys 429 v Glamorgan 168 & 226-7

Timm van der Gugten goes first ball, pinned in front.

Jack Morley is on a hat-trick.

Mason Crane will face the hat-trick ball... and nudges it safely away.

Double wicket maiden for Morley who has 3-33.

Crane and Dan Douthwaite will simply aim to take this game into tomorrow.

  3. Postpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 24 August

    Yorks 10-0 - target 103

Maybe Yorkshire are in a hurry.

Finlay Bean flicks Ollie Robinson's second delivery fine for four.

Following a leg bye, Adam Lyth steers through backward point for another.

Nothing risky about either stroke, though.

  4. wicket

WICKET Barnard c Rew b Umeed 0published at 18:16 British Summer Time 24 August

    Warks 337 & 172-5 v Somerset 239

    One brings two!

And it's the most unlikely source as Andy Umeed gets a little bit of turn and gets an edge from a half-hearted drive from Ed Barnard through to wicketkeeper James Rew.

Barnard goes for a four-ball duck and a fifth Warwicks wicket falls with the lead at 277.

Is it too late for Somerset to push for victory? Probably.

Dan Mousley is in with seven overs remaining today.

  5. wicket

WICKET Fletcher b Raine 0published at 18:15 British Summer Time 24 August

    Durham 531-7 dec v Notts 229 & 196-6

    And another!

Ben Raine finally gets his reward as nightwatchman Luke Fletcher is clean bowled second ball for nought.

A big miscalculation there and Notts jave lost two wickets in a hurry.

Just four more needed for Durham and Lyndon James comes in with four overs left in the day.

  6. WICKET Carlson st Brooke b Morley 56published at 18:15 British Summer Time 24 August

    Derbys 429 v Glamorgan 168 & 226-6

This might be all over tonight!

Kiran Carlson has been so watchful for so long this afternoon, but he's come down the wicket to Jack Morley and missed the ball.

    Brooke Guest does the rest.

There are 8.3 overs left tonight, Glamorgan trail by 35...anyone for an extra half an hour?

  7. Postpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 24 August

    Glos 544-4 dec v Leics 402 & 5-0

They are also back out in the middle in Bristol and Ian Holland - who made a hundred in the first innings - strokes an early boundary through the covers off Ajeet Singh Dale.

There are another eight overs to be bowled after this one.

  8. wicket

WICKET Montgomery c Borthwick b Hogg 38published at 18:13 British Summer Time 24 August

    Durham 531-7 dec v Notts 229 & 195-5

    There it is!

It's taken just 10 balls with the new ball to pick up the wicket.

Daniel Hogg once more takes an outside edge, this time off Matt Montgomery, and this time Scott Borthwick holds on at first slip.

He'd dropped two off Hogg and wheels away in a big celebration.

That has opened things right up again as Montgomery's three-hour vigil comes to an end.

    Luke Fletcher is in.

  9. WICKET Cooke b Lloyd 28published at 18:12 British Summer Time 24 August

    Derbys 429 v Glamorgan 168 & 226-5

    Cristiano Ronaldo or David Lloyd?

Lloyd, against his former side, bundles a ball into Chris Cooke's off stump with his off spin.

A good wicket, but an even better celebration as Lloyd leaps and mimic's Ronaldo's famous "Sui" celebration.

It gets a few replays on the big screen in the ground, each time getting a couple of whoops out of his team-mates.

  10. Postpublished at 18:12 British Summer Time 24 August

    Yorks 0-0 - target 103

Yorkshire have a third win in their sights, facing a target of just 103.

But there aren't enough overs left in the day for them to get the job done tonight, so Adam Lyth is content to play out a Jayden Unadkat maiden first up.

  11. wicket

WICKET Bethell b Davey 23published at 18:11 British Summer Time 24 August

    Warks 337 & 171-4 v Somerset 239

Jake Ball pulls up and cannot complete his ninth over, with Andy Umeed going in to complete it.

It's a sad sight as the paceman limps off the field.

Jacob Bethell then goes for a pull shot off Josh Davey, misses and is clean bowled.

A useful knock comes to an end and Ed Barnard is in.

  12. Postpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 24 August

    Hants 24-1 v Essex 438-8d

Essex have cut their losses on trying to make things happen with the quickly softening new ball and turned to their (not so) secret weapon....

    Simon Harmer enters the fray.

Not an overly attacking field initially, just one slip, a shot leg and a catching cover, but to the left-handed Nick Gubbins, Harmer could be a significant threat.

The South African begins with a maiden.

  13. wicket

WICKET Stewart c Roderick b Taylor 41published at 18:08 British Summer Time 24 August

    Worcestershire 447 v Kent 171 & 333-6

The breakthrough for Worcestershire! Tom Taylor tempts Grant Stewart into nicking behind and he goes for a useful 41.

Kent lead by 57 as Matt Parkinson strides out to join Tawanda Muyeye who is on 201 from 254 balls.

Nine overs remain in the day. Does Muyeye stick or twist here?

  14. Play abandoned at the Ovalpublished at 18:06 British Summer Time 24 August

    Surrey 444-9 dec v Lancashire 204 & 26-1

Within five minutes of the players and umpires clearing the outfield the heavens opened across south Lpndon, and then some...

They will try again tomorrow with Lancashire battling to save the game, still 214 in arrears with nine second innings wickets remaining.

  15. 50 runs

50 for Jack Haynespublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 24 August

    Durham 531-7 dec v Notts 229 & 191-4

    Well played, Jack Haynes.

Ben Raine fizzes the new ball past his outside edge, but Haynes then turns the third ball off his hips for his fifth four.

It takes him to his 13th first-class fifty, ground out from 143 balls in 194 minutes.

The Notts number five came in with his side in danger of collapsing in a heap, but has given the visitors a sniff of a draw.

They trail by 111, following on, and we have six overs left today.

  16. 6 runs

for Grant Stewartpublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 24 August

    Worcestershire 447 v Kent 171 & 332-5

From the very next ball Grant Stewart goes big off Joe Leach, sending him over the ropes at cow corner.

The lead is up to 56, Stewart has 41 from 37 deliveries, including two sixes, the sixth-wicket partnership is 83 from 94 balls.

New ball needed after the damage caused by that blow.

  17. new ball

Durham take the new ballpublished at 18:02 British Summer Time 24 August

    Durham 531-7 dec v Notts 229 & 187-4

Scott Borthwick steps up to bowl the 80th over.

Matt Montgomery follows five dots by guiding to deep extra cover for two to go to 34 and the partnership to 88.

Unsurprisingly, Durham skipper Scott Borthwick has absolutely no hesitation in taking the new ball.

They are wicketless since the 33rd over and will be glad to see the back of the old cherry. Borthwick hurls it away with gusto.

Ben Raine will have the first go with it.

  18. 200 runs

200 up for Tawanda Muyeyepublished at 18:00 British Summer Time 24 August

    Worcestershire 447 v Kent 171 & 326-5

His second first class century has become a maiden double century.

This truly has been a coming of age knock from the 23-year-old who has batted all 82 overs across the past two days.

Just as he did with his century, Muyeye brings up the milestone with a single off Joe Leach, and just like earlier he wheels away in celebration, bat and helmet aloft, the biggest grin you've ever seen across his face.

He was dropped on nought but has carried Kent into a lead of 50.

  19. Gloucestershire declarepublished at 17:59 British Summer Time 24 August

    Glos 544-4 dec v Leics 402

Four singles from Liam Trevaskis' 13th over but Glos skipper Graeme van Buuren decides they have batted long enough and declared with a lead of 142.

James Bracey finishes 207 not out, made from 261 balls, with three sixes and 26 fours - three runs better than his 204 not out against Glamorgan earlier in the season.

He also put on 290 with Ben Charlesworth, who was the only batsman dismissed today, caught behind off Ben Green for 201

  20. Five wickets for Ben Coadpublished at 17:59 British Summer Time 24 August

    Yorkshire 326 v Sussex 189 & 239

John Simpson attempts another paddle but this time deflects the ball into his stumps and is out for 67.

Ben Coad finishes with 5-69 for Yorkshire - four of his wickets taken with the new ball after Sussex were 188-6.

Yorkshire need to score 103 to beat the Division Two leaders.
