  1. 50 runs

50 for Tom Alsoppublished at 14:20 British Summer Time 25 June

    Sussex 442 & 234-4 v Leics 275

Louis Kimber sends down a long hop which Tom Alsop hammers over square leg for six to reach 50 off 102 balls.

It also takes Sussex's lead past 400 - and he and James Coles have added 60 so far for the fifth wicket.

How many more before the declaration?

  2. wicket

WICKET Bancroft LBW b Hill 26published at 14:19 British Summer Time 25 June

    Yorks 456 v Gloucs 197 & 61-3

Double strike for Yorkshire. A day three finish might be on here.

That ball from George Hill moved in more than a little off the seam.

Cameron Bancroft is forward, across and nearly falling over as he's struck on the pad in front of off stump.

James Bracey joins Miles Hammond in the "Scarbados" square.

  3. 50 runs

50 for James Vincepublished at 14:18 British Summer Time 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 231-5

James Vince is back and across to Dan Mousley, driving through cover for four and that takes him to a half century.

That's his third 50 of the season and this may prove to be vital for Hampshire's chances of setting a testing target.

64 balls with a couple of fours and two sixes.

  4. Postpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 25 June

    Worcs 212 & 29-0 v Surrey 490

Gareth Roderick is doing his best impression of the immovable object.

Sean Abbott is swinging the ball both ways, but Roderick is getting solidly in behind anything he feels he has to play at. He has four not out from 34 balls so far.

Jordan Clark has been doing a few exercises and he will bowl from the opposite end.

  5. 6 runs

Postpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 25 June

    Kent 244 v Lancashire 538-8

Similar to Jack Blatherwick a little earlier, Tom Bailey is of a similar physique and he fairly biffs George Garrett straight down the ground for a big six.

A fun time to bat for any tail end biffer!

  6. Postpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 463-9

Sadly the stream from Trent Bridge is down so back to old fashioned methods of listening on just the BBC commentary, but Notts save costs and have the same commentators for their stream as the BBC so no change in voices telling the story, Mr Gibson and Bracegirdle still present.

Anyway Migael Pretorius and Jake Ball are still providing a nuisance, the tail wagging again much like Notts in the first innings.

The Saffa is 85* and the local lad back on home turf is 0*.

  7. wicket

WICKET O Price c Bess b Revispublished at 14:14 British Summer Time 25 June

    Yorks 456 v Gloucs 197 & 55-2

Maiden over from George Hill as Cameron Bancroft pushes into the off side for no run.

    Matthew Revis strikes!

Ollie Price drives and edges low to Dom Bess at fourth slip.

Miles Hammond is next in the middle.

  8. wicket

WICKET Balderson c Finch b Garrett 42published at 14:13 British Summer Time 25 June

    Kent 244 v Lancashire 531-8

Two wickets in two overs for George Garrett.

He wins the battles of the Georges as George Balderson goes for a big drive outside off and nicks off.

Still no first-class 50 this summer for Balderson.

  9. wicket

WICKET Lees c Pepper b Porter 0published at 14:11 British Summer Time 25 June

    Essex 339 v Durham 587 & 0-1

    Jamie PorterImage source, Rex Features

And Alex Lees lasts all of one ball!

Jamie Porter gets him nibbling at one just outside off and Michael Pepper makes a smart tumbling catch behind the stumps.

  10. Durham do not enforce follow-onpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 25 June

    Essex 339 v Durham 587 & 0-0

Despite a lead of 248, Durham are not asking Essex to bat for a second time.

Openers Alex Lees and Michael Jones are out in the middle, but one thing we know is that this batting line-up does not hang around.

  11. Postpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 226-5

A fine cut shot from Liam Dawson off Danny Briggs beats Jacob Bethell on the off side and races away square for four.

Briggs gets one to spit up and straighten on a length and Dawson jabs the ball down for a single.

    Seven runs off the over.

  12. wicket

WICKET Robson c Reece b Chappell 67published at 14:07 British Summer Time 25 June

    Middx 433 & 87-2 v Derbys 339

Sam Robson won't be happy with that.

Zak Chappell bowls a full length into his pads and he flicks it straight to mid-wicket where Luis Reece takes the catch.

Robson hit 11 fours in his 59-ball innings and will feel he's missed out on a potential hundred there.

  13. Postpublished at 14:06 British Summer Time 25 June

    Yorks 456 v Gloucs 197 & 54-1

No quarter being given at Scarborough.

Just 11 runs added since lunch, but from a Gloucestershire point a view, even more important is that no wickets have fallen.

Ollie Price is 27 not out and Cameron Bancroft has 25.

  14. Postpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 459-9

The threat of Migael Pretorius continues to loom large.

The field is spread for spinner Calvin Harrison but you'd have to field in the stands to catch that slog sweep, which lofts the ball high over mid wicket for six.

A full toss arrives two balls later and that ball is slammed down the ground for four, bringing up the Somerset 450 in the 118th over.

Two more fours! One swept square and one edged wide of the keeper to third man.

He's nicked the strike with a single off the last ball as well.

    19 off the over.

  15. wicket

WICKET Blatherwick c sub (Jaydn Denly) b Garrett 18published at 14:04 British Summer Time 25 June

    Kent 244 v Lancashire 528-7

Apologies to Jack Blatherwick, but that is the definition of the commentator's curse!

He holes out to substitute Jaydn Denly for a bright and breezy score.

  16. Postpublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 25 June

    Worcs 212 & 21-0 v Surrey

Worcestershire's approach must surely be to try and wear down the Surrey pace attack - but that's far easier said than done.

Dan Worrall appeals for lbw against Gareth Roderick but the umpire is having none of that and they scamper through for a leg bye.

  17. How long will Red Rose bat?published at 14:01 British Summer Time 25 June

    Kent 244 v Lancashire 528-6

A positive sweep shot from George Balderson takes him into the forties with those four runs.

Lancashire's lead is 284 and there are 60 overs left in the day's play.

Kent do not look like bowling them out so the question will be at what stage this afternoon captain Keaton Jennings calls the batters in.

  18. Postpublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 25 June

    Warwks 254 v Hants 298 & 213-5

Craig Miles is getting good bounce and carry off this Edgbaston surface, but his fourth ball is full, wide and smashed through cover by Liam Dawson for four.

The lead has crept past 250.

  19. 'Harrison's figures are looking a little better'published at 14:00 British Summer Time 25 June

    Notts 360 v Somerset 440-9

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Those Calvin Harrison figures are looking a little better now.

  20. Division Two updatepublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 25 June

The Sussex lead continues to mount at Hove, where they are 205-4 following a James Coles boundary off Louis Kimber, a lead over Leicestershire of 372.

Sam Robson has steadied down a bit after lunch at Lord's where Middlesex are 72-1 in their second innings, 166 ahead of Derbyshire, with Robson 60 not out.

Northants are 17-0 after five over of their second innings against Glamorgan, 190 short of making the home side bat again.
