for Ben McKinneypublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 11 April

    Durham 332-7 v Warwickshire

Ben McKinney has moved to 137 not out with an effortless six off leggy Tazeem Ali towards deep mid-wicket - his second maximum to go with 17 fours.

He's 20, remember... and an opener in his 90th over of the day in the middle.

  2. 6 runs

for Jordan Thompsonpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 11 April

    Yorkshire 381-8 v Worcestershire

The Yorkshire tail are having some fun in pursuit of the fourth batting bonus point.

Jordan Thompson swivels to pull Jacob Duffy for a big six over deep square.

The Pears paceman has bowled 18 overs and taken three wickets, but a cost of 114 runs... nudging 6.5 per over.

The visitors have used nine bowlers in all.

  3. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.2 overs

    Somerset 40-3 v Sussex 294

And it's two in two for Hudson-Prentice, Tom Abell pinned lbw first ball.

    Hat-trick ball.

  4. Postpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 11 April

    Lancs v Northants 326-5

Saif Zaib is moving through the 90s with a flowing extra cover drive off George Balderson for four.

Four more driven through extra cover off the next ball, going on to the back foot. Gorgeous timing. 98 for Zaib now.

He gets one off a no ball to mid on to reach 99.

Lewis McManus sees out the over.

  5. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 11.1 overs

    Dickson c Coles b Hudson-Prentice 8 (Somerset 40-2 v Sussex 294)

Another good catch brings another breakthrough for Sussex, Coles shifting smartly to his right at second slip to send Sean Dickson on his way.

  6. Postpublished at 18:09 British Summer Time 11 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 23-1

Kemar Roach gets the ball to nip away and then gets one to nip back in to strike Mark Stoneman on the pad.

The LBW shout is turned down by the umpire.

Stoneman keeps the strike with a single off the last ball of the over.

Dan Worrall continues from the Vauxhall End with shadows lengthening across the ground.

A late leave from Stoneman at one point but the opener survives the over.

  7. 300 runs

300 up for Nottspublished at 86.3 overs

    Notts 300-8 v Essex

Quick single taken by Kyle Verreynne to mid on brings up the 300 and the second batting bonus point, something which seemed highly unlikely when they were 78-5 at lunch

  8. McKinney moves up a gearpublished at 18:07 British Summer Time 11 April

    Durham 321-7 v Warwickshire. McKinney 128.

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham opener Ben McKinney is now on his highest score in FC cricket. A six off Ethan Bamber took him to 124, beating his 121 in a win here against Notts last season.

He also hit Bamber for four in the same over and has now put on 88 runs with Matthew Potts, who has 47.

These are much-needed runs for Durham after they lost three wickets in two overs after tea. It would be nice from the home team's perspective to see these two still together at the close of play.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 11 April

    Bess LBW b Duffy 7 (Yorkshire 360-8 v Worcestershire)

Jacob Duffy picks up his third wicket of the afternoon as he angles one in which beats the edge of Dom Bess' attempted drive and thuds the pads.

Up goes the finger and Yorkshire are down to their final two wickets.

Ben Coad is the new man and gets off the mark with an inside edge across his stumps off Tom Taylor.

  10. 300 up for Northants at Old Traffordpublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 11 April

    Lancs v Northants 302-5

A couple of fours for Saif Zaib in the latest Tom Bailey over, driving down the ground and then chopping a ball loosely and just wide of the three slips to the deep third boundary.

The innings 300 arrives in the 87th over and Zaib is on 86.

  11. Postpublished at 18:01 British Summer Time 11 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 15-1

    Maiden over from Kemar Roach.

Nick Gubbins is forward to Dan Worrall, bat next to pad and pushing the ball into deep third for a single.

Mark Stoneman picks up a couple more runs, tapping the ball away just wide of third slip.

There's nothing wrong with this shot though, clipping the ball behind deep square leg for four.

You're seldom short of storylines at The Oval, but there's one in particular which has been capturing the imagination over the winter.

Surrey seamer Dan Worrall has been a big factor in their success since joining in 2022, taking 139 wickets at 21.9, and holds a British passport, despite having played three ODIs for Australia back in 2016.

His three-year residency period is up next month, just in time for him to be eligible for the one-off England Test against Zimbabwe.

Only five men have played international cricket for both England and Australia, the last of which was Albert Trott at the end of the 19th century.

He's already begun his season with a bang by cleaning up Fletcha Middleton this evening, so, should Worrall be asked to become the sixth? And do you think he's accept? Let us know by using the hashtag #bbccricket on social media and we'll publish the best replies right here.

You can also use the thumbs below for a quick straw poll - should Worrall get a call-up for England?

  13. Division Two round-uppublished at 17:57 British Summer Time 11 April

    #bbccricket

here's what's happening in the second division games away from Old Trafford.

Blake Cullen has three wickets for Middlesex who have Kent on the topes at Canterbury, 90-6 in reply to the visitors 222.

Ollie Price made 101 and shared 230 for the second Gloucestershire wicket against Glamorgan at Bristol but was trapped by Shoaib Bashir - on loan from Somerset.

Cam Bancroft has motored on to reach 142* with his side now 326-2.

Peter Handscomb made 63 and Ben Cox 49 as Leicestershire have reached 380-7 against Derbyshire at Grace Road.

  14. Postpublished at 17:57 British Summer Time 11 April

    Lancs v Northants 294-5

Lewis McManus drives George Balderson to cover and a half stop keeps Northants down to one run.

McManus struck it pretty well and held the pose for a second or two.

Sais Zaib defends down the pitch and then gets a single fourth ball into mid wicket.

    10 overs left before stumps.

  15. Postpublished at 17:53 British Summer Time 11 April

    Surrey 253 v Hants 8-1

Dan Worrall has settled into a great rhythm straight away for Surrey, but a rare loose ball is clipped away leg side by Nick Gubbins for two.

His sixth ball just evades the edge of the bat as Gubbins tries to block from the crease.

  16. 350 up for Yorkshirepublished at 17:51 British Summer Time 11 April

    Yorkshire 350-7 v Worcestershire

Yorkshire looked odds on to pass 400 in this session at one point, however the rather avoidable departures of George Hill and Dawid Malan mean they might not even make it full-stop.

Dom Bess and Jordan Thompson have secured the third batting point but with the new ball swinging a bit the visitors will try to use these final 12 overs to limit the damage.

  17. Postpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 11 April

    Lancs v Northants 291-5

Balderson angles the ball across Saif Zaib, bowling back of a length and the ball is left alone.

Zaib is forward to drive through the off side and that ball is missed by Tom Bailey at mid off, going for four runs. Zaib is on 77.

  18. 300 runs

300 up for Durhampublished at 17:49 British Summer Time 11 April

    Durham 301-7 v Warwickshire

Ben McKinney (115*) and Matty Potts (40*) have really taken the wind out of the Bears' sails after those three lightning wickets after tea.

They have secured a second batting bonus point and will hope to put their side in position to increase that number tomorrow morning.

Into the final 10 overs of the day at the Riverside...

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:46 British Summer Time 11 April

    Middleton b Worrall 5 (Surrey 253 v Hants 6-1)

Stoneman is off the mark second ball with a defensive push through the off side for a single and Middleton gets four flicked to square leg from the crease off Roach.

Dan Worrall strikes with the sixth ball of his first over!

He's England qualified now, you know.

He beats the bat of Fletcha Middleton as the opener tries to defend. The ball strikes the top of middle and off.

Nick Gubbins is the Hampshire number three. 14 overs left tonight.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 82.2 overs

    Malan c Brookes b Duffy 98 (Yorkshire 345-7 v Worcestershire)

Biiig swing and a miss from Dawid Malan as Jacob Duffy fires in the first delivery with the second new ball and from the second ball he finds the edge of Malan's bat and offers a low catch to Ethan Brookes who takes it nicely.

12 fours and a six in his 132 ball stay but there's no 31st first class century for the 37-year-old.

    Headingley deflates...
