WICKET Haynes c Bohannon b Anderson 1published at 12:09 British Summer Time 2 July

    Lancashire 353-9d v Notts 28-4

    It's four...

James Anderson is making the most of this tennis ball bounce at Southport, getting one to lift off a length at Jack Haynes who nudges it off his hip but only straight to Josh Bohannon under the lid at short leg.

Perfect field placement by Keaton Jennings.

Anderson has 4-9 from seven overs.

Lyndon James is the new batter.

  3. Five-wicket haul for Olly Hannon-Dalbypublished at 12:08 British Summer Time 2 July

    Somerset 282-9 v Warwicks 412

The new ball does the trick for Warwickshire - and Olly Hannon-Dalby has his fifth wicket of the innings!

James Rew flashes at one outside off stump and Rob Yates collects the catch low at first slip.

Rew departs for 18 and last man Migael Pretorius is on his way to the wicket.

  4. 'What a brilliant first hour for Anderson'published at 12:07 British Summer Time 2 July

    Lancashire 353-9d v Notts 22-3

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

You will struggle to find someone with a bigger smile than Jimmy Anderson at the minute.

He's having an excellent morning, what a brilliant first hour.

  5. Stokes comes on to bowlpublished at 12:07 British Summer Time 2 July

    Worcs 46-0 v Durham - target 231

Durham skipper Scott Borthwick decides it's time for a change and brings on Peter Siddle to replace Matt Potts.

A tidy over is spoiled as the Australian goes too wide and Jake Libby sends it to the fence at deep backward point.

It's a double change as Ben Stokes gets his first bowl of the day, on for Ben Raine.

Gareth Roderick clips the first ball off his pads into the legside for two.

Stokes almost has the breakthrough third ball as Roderick tries a bold drive and it misses everything.

Roderick then unfurls a lovely cover drive which brings four and moves him to a pacey 31.

    The Pears need 185 more.

  6. Play to resume at The Ovalpublished at 12:03 British Summer Time 2 July

    Surrey 262 & 63-3 v Essex 180

Better news in south London, where the covers have now been removed and we're due to start play again at 12:10.

The delay means we'll have 10 fewer overs in the day's play than scheduled, but that still means a total of 94.

  7. wicket

WICKET Clarke c Jennings b Anderson 0published at 12:01 British Summer Time 2 July

    Lancashire 353-9d v Notts 22-3

    That's 3-7 in six overs.

Not bad for a bowling consultant, eh?

James Anderson gets Joe Clarke on the drive and he flashes an edge straight into the bread basket of skipper Keaton Jennings at second slip.

Anderson's smile could dry out a soggy outfield.

Jack Haynes is the new man in the middle.

  8. 50 partnership for Rew and Overtonpublished at 12:01 British Summer Time 2 July

    Somerset 279-8 v Warwicks 412

Somerset are racing along now, with Craig Overton advancing to 32 at just over a run a ball and he and James Rew have now added 57 for the ninth wicket so far.

There is a new ball due now and the Bears have gratefully seized that opportunity, handing Chris Woakes the responsibility for putting it to good use.

  9. 250 runs

250 up for Kentpublished at 12:00 British Summer Time 2 July

    Hampshire 505-8d v Kent 251-6

A batting bonus point. Something to celebrate. Charlie Stobo clips Keith Barker into the leg-side for a single to bring it up.

Jack Leaning had a stroke of fortune in the previous over when he edged Mo Abbas only for Hampshire skipper James Vince to put down the chance at slip.

  10. Postpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 2 July

    Worcs 33-0 v Durham - target 231

That's a tad uppish from Gareth Roderick as he renews battle with Ben Raine, but it beats Peter Siddle at mid-on and three more are added to take the runs required below 200.

    One milestone ticked off.

  11. Postpublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 2 July

    Worcs 30-0 v Durham - target 231

More frustration for Ben Raine as a Gareth Roderick edge bounces awkwardly in front of Alex Lees at third slip and squeezes through for four.

The Worcs wicketkeeper then collides with the Durham man as he pushes and scampers through for a single to keep the strike.

Roderick then collects his third boundary before a single moves him to 19 off just 30 balls.

Solid start from the Pears - just what they required.

  12. 'That is what most of this crowd have come to see'published at 11:52 British Summer Time 2 July

    Lancashire 353-9d v Notts 12-2

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

That's a hugely disappointing moment for Haseeb Hameed but flip that coin around and it's what the vast majority of this crowd have come to see.

Jimmy Anderson bowling but Jimmy Anderson bowling and getting wickets.

The Notts captain is very much seen as the big fish in the Nottinghamshire side. Get him out and you've got the possibility then of getting stuck in to that top order.

  13. Division Two round-uppublished at 11:51 British Summer Time 2 July

    #bbccricket

Northants have moved to 166-7 after losing three wickets this morning and need 118 more from the lower order to beat Sussex.

Leicestershire are continuing to pile on the agony for the Middlesex attack this morning despite Luke Hollman removing Ben Mike for a 53-ball 41.

Ben Green has moved to 73, off 81 balls, and taken the hosts to 366-9 - a massive lead of 459.

Yorkshire have declared on 451-9 after picking up their fifth batting point and Derbyshire will need 375 runs to make the visitors bat again.

Jonny Tattersall made 107 before becoming Daryn Dupavillon's third victim, while Luis Reece ended with 4-74.

Cameron Bancroft is 19 short of a double century as he and James Bracey (117 not out) have powered Gloucestershire to a 427-run lead over Glamorgan with seven second-innings wickets still in hand.

  14. Somerset save follow-onpublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 2 July

    Somerset 263-8 v Warwicks 412

James Rew steers Ed Barnard for three runs on the off-side and Somerset supporters can breathe a sigh of relief as their side bring the deficit below 150.

Now it's a question of how many more Rew and Craig Overton can shave off Warwickshire's first-innings total of 412.

  15. wicket

WICKET Young c Hurst b Anderson 2published at 11:49 British Summer Time 2 July

    Lancashire 353-9d v Notts 12-2

    He's enjoying this, isn't he?

Evergreen James Anderson has got Will Young.

Young never looked comfortable against Anderson who angles one in which finds the outside edge and offers keeper Matty Hurst a low catch behind the pipes.

Joe Clarke joins Ben Slater in the middle.

  16. Postpublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 2 July

    Hampshire 505-8d v Kent 241-6

    Charlie Stobo survives again.

He shoulders arms to one from Keith Barker which nips back a very long way.

Barker is convinced it's out, but Stobo has judged that to perfection. It has hit him outside the line... by maybe an inch.

Stobo made a half-century on debut for Kent last week - how they could do with another one here. He is 15* from 38 balls at present.

Jack Leaning has 84 not out at the other end.

  17. Postpublished at 11:46 British Summer Time 2 July

    Lancashire 353-9d v Notts 12-1

Huge celebrappeal from Tom Bailey after getting Will Young to play inside the line on one which straightened up.

Matty Hurst took the catch and the cordon began the celebrations in unison, the only thing missing was the finger.

Young scampers a single to get off strike and buy time try to get his heart rate back down into double figures.

  18. Postpublished at 11:44 British Summer Time 2 July

    Hampshire 505-8d v Kent 238-6

Big appeal from Mo Abbas after thumping Charlie Stobo on the pads, time stood still but so did the umpire.

Stobo survives. For now. Huge pressure from Hampshire.

  19. Postpublished at 11:44 British Summer Time 2 July

    Somerset 254-8 v Warwicks 412

Somerset secure a batting bonus point as Craig Overton steers Ed Barnard to the long-off boundary and then pulls the next ball for an easy single to take the total to 250.

Only nine more runs will erase any fears of the follow-on for the home side. Then again, they have only two wickets intact and the new ball is soon due...

  20. wicket

WICKET McManus c Simpson b Hunt 5published at 11:39 British Summer Time 2 July

    Northants 155-7 v Sussex - target 284

    Sussex need three more.

A bowling change works as a returning Sean Hunt runs one across Lewis McManus who follows it and gets a thin edge through to Sussex skipper John Simpson behind the timbers.

Northants still need another 129 runs.
