She got a bit lucky there, a direct hit from Amanjot Kaur and Sophia Dunkley would have been gone.

  2. Eng 137-0published at 15 overs

A very optimistic appeal for a run out on Sophia Dunkley, as bowler Amanjot Kaur fields in her follow-through, is the closest India have come to a chance in a while.

10 off the over, including a firm pull for four from Wyatt-Hodge.

It's becoming quite difficult to keep up with all the boundaries at this point.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge reaches a 34-ball fifty with back-to-back boundaries, a glorious drive through the covers before clipping another through mid-wicket and perfectly dissecting the two fielders on the ropes.

This has been an amazing response from England so far.

I think India bowled well at the start of this innings, but they weren't backed up by their fielders. And because the pressure has built up, the bowlers are now not bowling to their fields and England are running away with it.

    Hello!

Danni Wyatt-Hodge is on the charge.

Attacking the seamer this time, Arundhati Reddy is swept for four before England's opener skips down the pitch and slams it down the ground for six!

Really good from this opening pair. They've both in form domestically and they've finally been able to translate that to the international stage.

Muscled through the leg side for four, as Dunkley continues to take down the spinners.

Shree Charani took four wickets on debut at Trent Bridge but England have targeted her effectively so far this evening, taking 30 from her three overs.

100 partnership for Dunkley and Wyatt-Hodge, too.

Sophia Dunkley scores 46% of her runs in T20I cricket straight down the ground.

No player in history scores more a higher percentage in this zone.

It wasn't the right delivery from Amanjot Kaur, allowing Sophia Dunkley to get underneath it. She's taking a bit of a gamble with that mid-off fielder within the ring.

Up and over mid-off for four!

Sophia Dunkley continues on her way. This is the first time India have been under any pressure in this series and they haven't responded particularly well so far.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge scores 23% of her runs in T20I cricket behind square on the off side.

Of the 68 players with 500+ runs in the format, only Meg Lanning (28%) and Kathryn Bryce (27%) score a higher percentage of their runs in the region.

Sophia Dunkley drives down the ground for a single to bring up a cracking half-century from 35 balls, with five fours and a six.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge had played a delightful cut for four earlier in the over off Sneh Rana as they guide England to a very promising position at the halfway mark.

Harmanpreet Kaur has had a bit of a shocker there. It carried, she had time to steady herself.

What on earth is going on?

Danni Wyatt-Hodge gets another lifeline as Harmanpreet Kaur spills a tougher - but still pretty straightforward - chance at cover.

She had to move to her right, and was still on the move when the ball was in her hands, but she was in a decent position and should've taken it comfortably.

    A shocker!

Jemimah Rodrigues, of all players, has dropped a sitter.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge takes one hand off the bat as she miscues one out to cow corner, and Rodrigues settles herself underneath but it somehow plops out of her hands.

Radha Yadav comes into the attack as Harmanpreet Kaur continues to rotate her bowlers.

She's greeted by a delightful reverse sweep for four by Sophia Dunkley, before Wyatt-Hodge repeats the dose with a slightly more agricultural heave through the leg side.

    England are starting to accelerate.
