    Daniel Bell-Drummond

Wasn't the greatest powerplay for Somerset ,Dan Worrall bowled extremely well along with the other seamers.

They're building a nice partnership now with Dan Lawrence coming into the attack, it is a key period for Somerset.

Hulk Hogan, Freddie Mercury... and possibly the two tallest cricketers in the world.

T20 Blast finals day and fancy dress go hand in hand.

Here are some of the best ones we've seen out and about so far.

  3. A first sixpublished at 8 overs

    Somerset 46-3 v Surrey 153-9

This partnership between James Rew and Sean Dickson has brought some much-needed composure to the wobbling innings and a six from the latter, heaved off Steel over the mid-wicket boundary, helps.

  4. 5-30 for Worrall and Gregory!published at 13:07 British Summer Time 14 September

    Somerset 37-3 (target 154)

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

Dan Worrall and Lewis Gregory have between them 5-30 off their eight overs.

Between them simply great experience and great skill-sets shown.

  5. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Somerset 37-3 v Surrey 153-9

That is a superb effort from Dan Worrall whose four overs have cost just 15 runs and brought two Somerset wickets.

James Rew has picked off one that drifted a little leg-side pulling one to the square leg boundary but overall that is a big effort.

If Surrey go on to win this – and there will not be a rush to put hard-earned on Somerset from this point – his contribution will probably not be bettered.

Change in pace now with spinner Cameron Steel on at the Pavilion End.

  6. 'One of the shots of the match'published at 13:06 British Summer Time 14 September

    Somerset 29-3 (target 154)

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

One of the shots of the match so far from Sean Dickson.

He has himself down on one knee and just helps it over fine leg.

    What a shot.

A couple of boundaries to finish off what has otherwise definitely been Surrey's powerplay.

  7. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Somerset 29-3 v Surrey 153-9

Sean Dickson goes down on one knee and ramps Jordan Clark over his shoulder for four.

And with the last ball of the powerplay he does it again with another which just dribbles to the same boundary.

Somerset needed that but they are still behind Surrey's rate by some distance.

  8. 'What a start for Surrey'published at 13:00 British Summer Time 14 September

    Somerset 20-3 (target 154)

    Alex Hartley
Former England bowler on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Well what a start for Surrey, they find themselves having three quick wickets but it's Worrall, 2-7 off three overs.

    He's been absolutely outstanding.

  9. Postpublished at 5 overs

    Somerset 20-3 v Surrey 153-9

One over of the powerplay to go and Somerset are already lying on the canvas here seeing stars.

Lewis Gregory's side surely cannot afford more wickets to fall before the halfway mark and this partnership between James Rew and Sean Dickson needs to stick.

There are some hitters to come but this is going to need something special from the current champions if they are not going home early.

134 more runs needed off 90 balls.

  10. Postpublished at 4 overs

    Somerset 14-3 v Surrey 153-9

Somerset need something special here and a four from Sean Dickson, glanced off his legs from Tom Curran, helps a bit.

Surrey were 62-1 in their powerplay and that looks a long way off right now. The batting side need to look after their wickets as well.

  11. Postpublished at 3 overs

    Somerset 8-3 v Surrey 153-9

Another appeal for lbw against Sean Dickson is dismissed by umpire Paul Pollard but brings to an end a wicket maiden from Dan Worrall.

Somerset need to regroup but will need to do so while keeping an eye on the run rate which is already rapidly building.

A desperate start for Lewis Gregory's side.

  12. 'Worrall so good at this'published at 12:51 British Summer Time 14 September

    Somerset 7-3 v Surrey 153-9

That is off the back of the bat again.

If this was a Championship game Worrall would have four or five slips, a gully, a man on the drive, he is just so good at this, his skillset, the seam comes down gun barrel straight.

  13. wicket

WICKET Smeed c Smith b Worrall 0published at 2.1 overs

    Somerset 7-3 v Surrey 153-9

    The collapse continues...

Will Smeed had been watching this horror show unfold from the other end and now adds to it wafting at a short wide one and edging to Jamie Smith behind the stumps.

Dan Worrall now has his second wicket and Somerset's reply is in tatters early.

  14. wicket

    WICKET Abell c Pope b T Curran 7published at 1.3 overs

    Somerset 7-2 v Surrey 153-9

Another blow for the chasing Somerset.

This is terrible start for the chasing side and a great one for Surrey who have now removed two in two overs.

Tom Abell had taken Somerset's first boundary but a leading edge popped up to Ollie Pope at short cover.

  15. 'Doesn't think of reviewing it'published at 12:46 British Summer Time 14 September

    Somerset 0-1 v Surrey 153-9

    Melissa Story
    BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

First ball he's been given out. Tom Kohler-Cadmore leg before wicket.

He doesn't even think of reviewing that one, he just turns and walks off.

  16. Postpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time 14 September

    Somerset 0-1 v Surrey 153-9

    Dan Whiting
    BBC Radio London

Surrey have been almost two different sides in this competition, with so many different players used.

From the overseas stars of Spencer Johnson and Sean Abbott to times when they had the likes of Will Jacks and Sam Curran available not taken by England duty.

  17. wicket

    WICKET Kolher-Cadmore lbw b Worrall 0published at 0.1 overs

    Somerset 0-1 v Surrey 153-9

    First ball blow.

That is a huge wicket for Surrey with Tom Kohler-Cadmore undone by some late movement from Daniel Worrall.

With Tom Banton, their leading run-scorer already missing with a football injury, losing their second highest contributor is a bad, bad start.

  20. Somerset need 154 to reach finalpublished at 12:31 British Summer Time 14 September

    Somerset v Surrey 153-9

Somerset's bowlers will be feeling pretty happy with their contribution and will send the batters out with a self-satisfied 'over to you'.

A bruising powerplay saw Surrey skip along at just under 10 an over. But Somerset's bowlers, led superbly by skipper Lewis Gregory, dragged it back.

From 62-1 after six, a softening ball and pace off deliveries pegged back the rate to the point where Somerset will probably be the happier unit.

Surrey will have to hope a) for early breakthroughs and b) that they have enough of a total here to be aggressive.

All will be revealed in the next 90 minutes or thereabouts as Somerset set out with 154 needed to win.
