  1. Postpublished at 17:50 15 April

    Gloucs 390-6 v Yorkshire

Into the last 10 minutes at The County Ground.

What an effort this has been by Gloucestershire today. They've only lost two wickets.

  2. 104 needed from 54 ballspublished at 17:50 15 April

    Surrey 105-2 (10 overs) v Somerset

Super short ball from Kasey Aldridge straight into his former all-rounder team-mate's chest first ball.

Jamie Overton, who's in at four, does get a wide down the leg side next ball though.

    Pulls for one last ball.

  3. Postpublished at 17:49 15 April

    Essex v Kent 158-7 (target 375)

Time running out for Essex - about 10 more minutes for Kent to survive.

  4. WICKET: Pope b Aldridge 11published at 17:48 15 April

    Surrey 103-2 (9.4 overs) v Somerset

What a game Kasey Aldridge has had (bar that first-ball duck in the first innings).

Ollie Pope trying to be too funky moving around too much, outdone by young Aldridge.

  5. Postpublished at 17:46 15 April

    Surrey 103-1 (9.2 overs) v Somerset

Ollie Pope - what a cut shot/flail that is over point for six.

  6. Postpublished at 17:46 15 April

    Essex v Kent 156-7 (target 375)

This is some effort from Jaydn Denly, the 18-year-old on his first-class debut who is helping Kent towards a draw at Chelmsford.

He was out for a 16-ball duck in the first innings as well.

He's scored 41 off 106 balls. Simon Harmer to continue at the other end.

  7. 113 needed off 60 ballspublished at 17:44 15 April

    Surrey 96-1 (9 overs) v Somerset

Pace off from the Somerset skipper, using the width of the red ball crease perfectly.

    No boundary off that over.

Five-fer man Kasey Aldridge on from t'other end.

  8. Postpublished at 17:44 15 April

    Gloucs 377-6 v Yorkshire

Joe Root and Dan Moriarty are rattling through the overs for Yorkshire.

There's 16 minutes of play left... so Yorkshire will probably have another five to get these last four wickets.

    It hasn't looked like happening.

  9. Postpublished at 17:42 15 April

    Essex v Kent 153-7 (target 375)

Essex turn to Jamie Porter as they search for a critical breakthrough in the final 20 minutes or so.

    Porter's second-innings figures are 10-4-17-4.

  10. WICKET: Smith c Renshaw b Gregory 45published at 17:40 15 April

    Surrey 90-1 (8.1 overs) v Somerset

Curse of the live text commentator again!

Cracking catch from Matt Renshaw off Lewis Gregory's first ball of this chase.

Surprisingly Jamie Smith used the toe not the middle of his bat then.

    Ollie Pope in at three.

  11. Postpublished at 17:39 15 April

    Essex v Kent 153-7 (target 375)

    Almost out!

Matt Critchley finds the edge of Nathan Gilchrist's bat and it squeaks through a couple of close fielders, away for a couple of runs.

Essex may well bowl more than the minimum overs, so it may well be a case of Kent batting time to the end of the final hour to save the match.

  12. The new CC version of T20published at 17:39 15 April

    Surrey 90-0 (8 overs) v Somerset

Jamie Smith and Dan Lawrence together are playing a partnership of T20/County Championship cricket from the very top drawer here.

Smith 45* off 24 balls, Lawrence 43* off 24 balls - 119 more needed off the last 11 overs.

    Who needs T20?!

  13. 'Yorkshire will keep pushing'published at 17:37 15 April

    Gloucs 364-6 v Yorkshire

    Jonathan Doidge
    BBC Radio Leeds cricket commentator

Yorkshire will keep going, they'll keep pushing if they get a sniff of an opportunity, there's no doubt about that.

  14. 'Enough time for the game to go to the wire'published at 17:36 15 April

    Gloucs 364-6 v Yorkshire

    Shah Faisal
    BBC Radio Leeds

There's enough time in this game, if a wicket falls we'll go right down to the wire, at least Yorkshire will.

  15. Massive moment - drop, but five runs savedpublished at 17:35 15 April

    Surrey 79-0 (7.1 overs) v Somerset

Lewis Gregory at long off nearly takes a wondrous catch, but in flicking it back throws it to the turf.

Jamie Smith keeps the strike for the next over with that one.

Then hits an incredible six over deep square first ball of the next.

  16. Postpublished at 17:32 15 April

Essex v Kent 149-7 (target 375) - seven overs remaining

    Don Topley
    BBC Essex

The ball in the damp has gone a little bit soft, I'm sure.

The umpires are conferring and are looking at the ball. I'm not sure if some of the Essex lads have complained about the stitching.

No change of ball for the home side, though...

  17. 141 needed off 76 ballspublished at 17:31 15 April

    Surrey 68-0 (6.2 overs) v Somerset

Jamie Smith takes Craig Overton straight for six, then through midwicket for four.

    He's up to 33 off 18 deliveries.

  18. Postpublished at 17:31 15 April

Essex v Kent 149-7 (target 375) - seven overs remaining

Essex spinners Simon Harmer and Matt Critchley are rattling through overs but they have been unable to find a breakthrough since the resumption.

Jaydn Denly has faced 91 balls so far for his 37 not out.

  19. Postpublished at 17:29 15 April

    Surrey 58-0 (6 overs) v Somerset chasing 209 off 19 overs

Chip for two, does not reach Lewis Gregory at long off.

Two almost every ball, superb cricket from Surrey.

A rainbow, some blue sky and some grey clouds overhead, it is all going on.

  20. Eight overs leftpublished at 17:29 15 April

    Gloucs 356-6 v Yorkshire

Another maiden over from Joe Root, defended by Ben Charlesworth.

This game is probably done with four wickets still needed and the weather closing in.
