  1. wicket

WICKET: Joe Denly c Khushi b Porter 39published at 16:39 British Summer Time 15 April

    Essex v Kent 116-6

I THINK Joe Denly's been snaffled at short leg by Feroze Khushi.

It looked like Jamie Porter smacked him on the pad and launched a huge appeal, meanwhile Khushi took a low catch. Maybe there was an inside edge.

Either way, the umpire's finger goes up and Denly is on his way.

  2. wicket

WICKET: Clark c sub (Hain) b Briggs 11published at 16:39 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 272-6 (f-o) - Durham lead by 91

Graham Clark top-edges a sweep off Danny Briggs to sub fielder Sam Hain at short fine leg and the Bears have a sixth Durham wicket.

  3. 50 runs

50 for Craig Overtonpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 348-8

51 off 111 balls taking Gus Atkinson for two through the covers.

A welcome return to form with the bat for the big North Devon man who batted as high as six in the Championship just a couple of years ago, but has not done much since.

205 the Somerset lead and this game is as good as done.

  4. wicket

WICKET: Gregory c Atkinson b Steel 80published at 16:33 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 345-8

Wow after all that Lewis Gregory gets out in almost as bad fashion as Tom Banton earlier in the match, looping it up to backward point where Gus Atkinson takes a simple catch.

But the Somerset skipper has almost certainly done enough to save the game for his side with their lead now past 200.

    Essex v Kent 112-5 (22 overs remain)

Looking at the rain radar, some heavy showers are working their way towards Chelmsford.

Essex need to break this stand between Jaydn and Joe Denly.

  6. 'Surrey body language is dejected'published at 16:29 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 337-7

    Roland Butcher
Former Middlesex and England batter on BBC Radio London

You see the body language of the Surrey fielders now is dejected. They've obviously decided that it's going to be a difficult assignment.

They're not moving with any energy at the moment, players are going from position to position at a leisurely pace, so maybe they are just winding down.

  7. Postpublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 15 April

While Essex and Yorkshire are pushing for victories late on day four, it's just a case of clock-watching at Edgbaston and Utilita Bowl, where Durham and Hampshire have effectively saved their respective matches with solid batting efforts today.

In Division Two, Derbyshire are 207-3 and have just about saved the game at Glamorgan.

Pretty sure they'll be finishing early in those three games and settling for draws.

  8. Postpublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 337-7

Craig Overton up to 45 with a crunched boundary off Gus Atkinson, predictable short ball follow-up comfortably ducked underneath too.

This is over bar the hand-shaking now surely Rory Burns?!

23 minutes for Lewis Gregory to get to 100?

    He is 76* still...

  9. wicket

WICKET: Bracey c Tattersall b Coad 102published at 16:26 British Summer Time 15 April

    Gloucs 314-6 v Yorkshire

James Bracey goes to his century, but is dismissed next ball!

It's a beauty from Ben Coad, nipping away and the left-hander edges it through to the keeper.

It's a fantastic one-handed catch by Jonny Tattersall.

25 overs remain for Yorkshire to get the last four wickets.

  10. Postpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 15 April

    Essex v Kent 100-5 (26 overs remain)

This has been a gutsy stand between 18-year-old Jaydn Denly and uncle Joe Denly.

35 runs, but more importantly they've eaten into 10 overs.

The target of 375 is now irrelevant.

  11. Surrey getting more and more desperatepublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 332-7

Gus Atkinson is going to attempt something different, from the Vauxhall end in front of the press box now.

Bit more lift, Lewis Gregory looks slightly uncomfortable for the first time in a while, but still keeps it down, he is 76*.

  12. wicket

WICKET: Robinson c sub (Smith) b Yates 52published at 16:12 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 246-5 (f-o) - Durham lead by 65

A run-a-ball 52 for Ollie Robinson but he perishes immediately after bringing up his second half-century of the match at Edgbaston.

Rob Yates gets Robinson caught at short leg and has seven wickets in the match - almost double the total of first-class wickets he'd taken before this game began.

  13. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 15 April

    Hampshire 367 & 155-4 v Lancashire 484

Tom Prest is hitting the accelerator pedal, hitting a six off both Nathan Lyon and Luke Wells in consecutive overs.

Hampshire's lead is up to 38 with six second-innings wickets remaining - petering out to a draw, this one.

  14. Postpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 327-7

Cam Steel from the Pavilion End gifts a long hop for Craig Overton to nail for four through square leg.

It is safe to say he bowled better in the first innings of this match than he has in the second, which feels odd to say when pitches usually break up on day four to assist spinners more.

  15. Final session at Chelmsfordpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 15 April

    Essex v Kent 85-5 (target 375)

They're also back on the field at Essex.

Five more wickets for the hosts to make it back-to-back wins to start the season.

Jaydn and uncle Joe Denly are in the middle for Kent.

  16. Resumption in Bristolpublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 15 April

    Gloucs 297-5 (target 498) v Yorkshire

The final session of the match is under way.

Yorkshire need five wickets, Gloucestershire 201 more runs.

But there is a bit of weather around.

  17. Back for the 12th and final session at The Ovalpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 320-7

Somerset lead by 177, surely that is enough with likely only 34 overs remaining today (weather and hand-shaking early permitting).

Jamie Overton into Lewis Gregory on 71* to start the evening session.

  18. Durham take the leadpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 219-4 (f-o)

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Nightwatchman Matthew Potts has helped Durham wipe out their 181-run deficit today and in doing so has reached his first century in first-class cricket.

He's played some lovely shots and seems to have enjoyed the role of helping his side battle through the day. The hundred came in 173 balls and included 11 fours and a six.

There have been a couple of delays for rain and showers never appear to be far away, but Durham have only lost two wickets today. As I write, there are about 28 overs to go.

They are doing enough to thwart Warwickshire hopes of a win on the final day.

  19. 'Denlys faced with seeing off Essex attack'published at 16:01 British Summer Time 15 April

    Tea: Essex v Kent 79-5 (target 375)

    Matt Cole
    BBC Radio Kent

What a session from Essex, they've taken five Kent wickets.

It's the Denlys, uncle and nephew Joe and Jaydn, to come out after tea and they are faced with a task of trying to see off this Essex attack and keep those five wickets intact.

  20. Postpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 15 April

    Hampshire 367 & 127-4 v Lancashire 484

Big lbw shout by Nathan Lyon against Tom Prest - not given.

Pretty close to a third wicket of the innings for the Australia off-spinner.
