  1. Match drawn at Sophia Gardenspublished at 17:04 British Summer Time 15 April

    Glamorgan (237 & 361-7 dec) drew with Derbyshire (198 & 225-3)

Luis Reece and Brooke Guest have saved the game for Derbyshire with an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 146.

Glamorgan went into the final day needing nine wickets, but they came up against a resolute batting display.

  2. Postpublished at 17:04 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 8-0 off three balls

Craig Overton with the mind games, it is raining and very windy here now with grey clouds overhead, so he stops twice in his run up.

Eventually he bowls and a Jamie Smith golf swing plinks into the offside for one.

Event a ball here, my fingers are sore already.

  3. Rain stops play at Chelmsfordpublished at 17:03 British Summer Time 15 April

    Essex v Kent 140-7 (target 375)

Kent's batters couldn't run off fast enough when the rain came!

Will they get back on at Chelmsford?

  4. Bonkers cricket at The Ovalpublished at 17:02 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 7-0 (target 209) v Somerset

Not a bad shot first ball, Jamie Smith gets a well-run three through the covers, then four second ball as Shoaib Bashir cannot dive and stop it from deep third.

Craig Overton is bowling, Surrey are buzzing.

  5. Postpublished at 17:02 British Summer Time 15 April

    Gloucs 339-6 v Yorkshire

15 overs to go in Bristol.

    What have Yorkshire got left?

  6. 'That's cricket, that's Somerset cricket for sure'published at 17:01 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 & 0-0 v Somerset 285 & 351

As Dan Whiting has just said, game on!

Five minutes before I came on to commentary this looked as if Somerset were home and hosed with the draw and then Lewis Gregory was out, Migael Pretorius played an absolutely dreadful shot.

Craig Overton decided he would trust Shoaib Bashir - they could have settled for the single, they didn't and Bashir was out lbw the very next ball.

So there it goes, that's cricket, that's Somerset cricket for sure.

  7. Let the T20 in the CC commence!published at 17:01 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 351

I cannot think of another sport like this, this surely was not possible just under an hour ago, and it is free entry after tea at The Oval...why are hundreds not flocking in?

Anyone in London get yourself down here, hold on to your hats.

  8. Match drawn at Edgbastonpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire (698-3 dec) drew with Durham (517 & 293-6 f-o)

A magnificent batting effort from Matty Potts has led Durham to safety in their Division One match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

Once the Bears had posted just shy of 700 in their first innings, it all became about whether Durham could bat out the remaining time to save the match - and they have done so pretty comfortably, despite being asked to follow on late on day three.

Potts was pretty much flawless in scoring 149 not out, his maiden first-class century. A brilliant innings.

  9. Cricket, cricket, cricketpublished at 16:59 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 351

No rain but very menacing grey clouds, the groundstaff are playing the hokey-cokey with the groundsheets.

Somerset come out then run back up to the dressing room.

Jamie Smith and Dan Lawrence are ready...

One over lost, now 208 off 19!

  10. Keeper bowlingpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 291-6 (f-o)

You can tell we're close to finishing at Edgbaston - Michael Burgess is having a bowl for Warwickshire.

    He's the wicketkeeper.

Brydon Carse hits his first ball to the boundary.

  11. Who is going to open for Surrey?published at 16:55 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 351

No offence but surely no Dom Sibley or Rory Burns even in pads...Ollie Pope and Dan Lawrence would be my guess.

Could this end up being one of the best 20 over games the County Championship has ever seen!?

  12. wicket

WICKET: Agar c Snater b Porter 6published at 16:55 British Summer Time 15 April

    Essex v Kent 130-7

A fourth wicket for Jamie Porter!

Wes Agar flicks the Essex paceman away, but it's in the air and Shane Snater takes the catch in the leg side.

15 overs remain, three wickets needed. Showers approaching.

  13. Five-wicket haul for Steel too!published at 16:53 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 351

Cam Steel earnt a five-wicket haul amongst that ridiculously mad finish to the Somerset innings by the way.

He bowled adequately, but Somerset threw at least three of those wickets away foolishly after Lewis Gregory and Craig Overton had battled so hard before them.

  14. Match drawn at Utilita Bowlpublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 15 April

    Hampshire (367 & 179-4) drew with Lancashire (484)

Indeed it is all over, and it's honours even at Hampshire.

Lancashire came into today's play needing eight wickets to give themselves a chance of victory but, in the event and not helped by a two-hour rain delay, they managed just two.

Nick Gubbins, James Vince and Tom Prest all contributed to Hampshire's batting effort on day four.

  15. Surrey need 208 off 20 overspublished at 16:50 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 351

Only the greatest competition in the world could provide you this frankly ridiculous scenario after these four days.

Well the way they sprinted off the field it looks like they are going to go for this!!!

  16. Rain stops play at Utilita Bowlpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 15 April

    Hampshire 367 & 179-4 v Lancashire 484 - Hants lead by 62

On come the covers as a shower drifts over the ground, and given the match situation I'd suggest that's probably the last of the on-field action in this match.

  17. wicket

WICKET: Bashir lbw Steel 2published at 16:48 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 351

Somerset are all out for 351!

It is getting dark here if you want to throw another spanner into the works of this game.

Not quite Monty Panesar at Cardiff, or any of James Anderson's last ditch attempts, but Shoaib Bashir is not quite stoic enough that even Surrey surely don't fancy a chase of 208 off 20 overs with no fielding restrictions here?

  18. Postpublished at 16:47 British Summer Time 15 April

    Gloucs 328-6 v Yorkshire (20 overs remain)

Gloucestershire are going to make Yorkshire really work for these last four wickets.

Graeme van Buuren - with a first-class batting average north of 40 - and Ben Charlesworth are the batters tasked with ticking off the overs.

Ben Coad is still racing in for the visitors - he's been the star performer with 3-39.

  19. 'What an innings from Gregory'published at 16:46 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 349-9

    Dan Whiting
    BBC Radio London

A really good innings from Lewis Gregory, he deserved the warm applause.

His occupation of the crease has come to an end but what an innings.

He along with the help of Craig Overton and others have pretty much insured that eight points is taken back to the West Country.

  20. wicket

WICKET: Pretorius c Sibley b Steel 1published at 16:42 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 349-9

Blimey, Somerset do not like to do things easily, ever.

Dom Sibley takes a skier, sucked into his jumper, and Cam Steel is gifted another wicket.

Overseas signing Migael Pretorius caught for one.

Not a pretty innings, not what his side wanted and required of him, and do not make the mistake of thinking he is a genuine number 10 tailender.

Even Mr Andrew Samson assured me at tea, based upon his South African first-class performances he could bat as high as seven.
