  1. Postpublished at 11:25 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 21-2 (f-o)

Six overs into day four and Durham's third-wicket pair of Colin Ackermann and Matty Potts are looking fairly solid, with little threat of a wicket thus far.

No Chris Rushworth for the Bears, remember - he's been struggling with a calf problem.

  2. 'Prospect of play looks remote'published at 11:22 British Summer Time 15 April

An early midday lunch at Grace Road, with a further inspection at 12:40 BST, but the outfield is very wet and with heavy showers forecast, the prospects of any play look remote.

  3. Play in Cardiffpublished at 11:21 British Summer Time 15 April

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 40-1 (target 401)

Hurrah, we have a second game under way!

Glamorgan need nine wickets, Derbyshire another 361 runs.

If the weather stays dry in Cardiff, this could be a cracker.

  4. 12:00 BST start at The Ovalpublished at 11:20 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 204-6

    Harry Everett
    BBC Sport at The Oval

I still have a red tinge to my nose from sitting in the stands here for the past three days, but after a bleak morning, all of a sudden the clouds part, and first umpires, then cricketers appear to inspect and commence football warm-ups.

Woolly hats the order of the day, Steve Kirby has his ski-like jacket on, but there is enough blue sky for a sailor's pair of trousers as my grandma used to say.

Being day four, lunch still has to be taken at 13:00 BST, can Kasey Aldridge and his captain Lewis Gregory bat for an hour until then?

  5. 'It won't be easy for Warwickshire'published at 11:14 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 18-2 (f-o)

    Clive Eakin
    BBC CWR Sport

It won't be easy for Warwickshire to get these last eight wickets on a pitch that is still favouring batters.

Durham did give away quite a lot of their wickets yesterday, so if they apply themselves a little bit more it could be quite difficult for Warwickshire.

  6. Postpublished at 11:13 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 18-2 (f-o)

Matty Potts, who came in as a nightwatchman for Durham late on day three, squirts one through the point region to the very short offside boundary for the first four of the day.

  7. 'Pitch inspection at 11:30 BST'published at 11:08 British Summer Time 15 April

    Essex 530-7 dec & 257-4 v Kent 413 - Essex lead by 374

    Don Topley
    BBC Essex

We've just heard that there will be a pitch inspection at 11:30 BST.

If they do have a pitch inspection and try to start at 12:00, I would imagine Essex would look to declare on their overnight total of 257-4.

Essex need the 10 Kent wickets and I do believe there will be enough time to take them.

  8. Postpublished at 11:07 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 13-2 (f-o)

Not much to report from the two overs of action so far at Edgbaston.

Will Rhodes is bowling in tandem with Oliver Hannon-Dalby and after that single scored by Colin Ackermann, there have been 11 consecutive dot balls.

  9. Somerset still 'optimistic'published at 11:06 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 204-6 - start delayed

    Harry Everett
    BBC Sport at The Oval

Talk from the groundstaff is they are hopefully they might be able to play by 12:00 BST, but no official announcement as they toil with the groundsheets at The Oval, trying to allow the wind to access the wicket in a brief dry spell while grey clouds still loom menacingly all around.

I spoke to not out batter and England Lions all-rounder Kasey Aldridge after play ended on Sunday, and he was ebullient still.

"Me and Lewis [Gregory] have had some good partnerships before and I think we're pretty optimistic for tomorrow," he said.

"We are going to give it a good go, we will try to still put pressure on them, bat normally for as long as we can, score as many runs as we can and give it a good go."

  10. Postpublished at 11:00 British Summer Time 15 April

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 13-2 (f-o)

Oliver Hannon-Dalby bowls the first over of day four under a sunny sky and in blustery conditions at Edgbaston.

Colin Ackermann clips the first ball of the morning away to the leg side for a single.

We have play! Warwickshire's fielders have made their way out to the middle at Edgbaston, along with Durham's not out batters Colin Ackermann and Matty Potts.

  12. In Division Two...published at 10:58 British Summer Time 15 April

Yorkshire gave themselves a great chance of beating Gloucestershire by taking late wickets in Bristol. The hosts will resume on 97-4, needing an improbable 498 for victory, at a scheduled start time of 11:30 BST.

Derbyshire are also chasing a mammoth total against Glamorgan. They're 40-1 in their second innings, needing another 361 to win, and they're due to start at 11:15.

It's all about batting time for Leicestershire today after Sussex made an incredible 694-9 in their first innings.

The Foxes restart on 86-1, still needing another 270 to avoid an innings defeat.

It's been an absolute run-fest at Northants. Middlesex closed day three on 553-2 with Max Holden (211 not out) and Leus du Plooy (196 not out) putting on an unbroken 350 for the third wicket.

  13. Postpublished at 10:57 British Summer Time 15 April

    Hampshire 367 & 39-2 v Lancashire 484 - Hampshire trail by 78

There will be an 11:30 BST inspection at Utilita Bowl, where Will Williams struck twice before the close on day three to give Lancashire more than a sniff of victory against Hampshire.

But you fancy that the key man today, weather permitting, will be Nathan Lyon.

The veteran Australia spinner, with more than 500 Test wickets to his credit, bowling on a day-four pitch - it is surely for these situations that he has been signed, and how he performs could be the difference between a draw and a victory.

  14. Delay at Chelmsfordpublished at 10:55 British Summer Time 15 April

    Essex 530-7 dec & 257-4 v Kent 413 - Essex lead by 374

Jordan Cox's blistering century gave Essex a huge advantage in their high-scoring game against Kent.

The wicketkeeper smashed 116 off 89 balls against his former county to build Essex's lead to 374 at stumps.

But the covers are on at Chelmsford this morning... surely the hosts will declare as soon as we have any news of a resumption?

    Notts 399 & 151-7 v Worcs 355 - Notts lead by 195

Nathan Smith celebrates taking wicketImage source, Rex Features

Worcestershire's glut of wickets in the final session on day three has left this match delicately poised with a day to go.

Nottinghamshire's lead is just below 200 and that advantage might well prove to be enough.

Conversely, batting was looking pretty comfortable for Notts just before Nathan Smith's burst of four wickets in seven balls, so the Pears might think they've got a decent shot at chasing down a total.

It's going to be a fascinating final day when they get under way at Trent Bridge - there's an inspection scheduled for 11:00 BST.

  16. Wet, but rain has stopped at The Ovalpublished at 10:52 British Summer Time 15 April

    Surrey 428 v Somerset 285 & 204-6 - Somerset lead by 61

    Harry Everett
    BBC Sport at The Oval

After morning downpours, the rain has actually just stopped here in South London.

The covers are pegged down sufficiently so have not been blown away by the wind. There's little chance of play before lunch you’d guess but nothing official yet.

Somerset pair Lewis Gregory and Kasey Aldridge are quite happily not in whites let alone thinking about re-padding up yet.

    Warwickshire 698-3 dec v Durham 517 & 12-2 (f-o) - Durham trail by 169

Ed Barnard at EdgbastonImage source, Getty Images

Should we get a full day's play in at Edgbaston, Warwickshire are well-placed going into the final day against Durham - they need eight second-innings wickets and have 169 runs to play with before they have to contemplate batting again.

Durham lost both openers before the close on day three after being asked to follow-on 181 runs behind.

One thing that might go against the Bears, though, is their energy levels. They have bowled close to 150 overs on the spin so far, and we wait to see whether Chris Rushworth is fit enough to bowl today. He was struggling with a calf problem on Sunday.

With that in mind and with the weather changeable, it will be one hell of an effort by their bowling attack to get over the line.

  18. Latest scorespublished at 10:48 British Summer Time 15 April

    Morning.

The dry weather of the first three days has departed and we're back to heavy rain and showers.

There will be a few delays, but hopefully we'll still get plenty of cricket in with all nine matches going to the final day.

Stay with us to see how it goes...
