That has jagged back a long way!

Positive signs for India as Mohammed Siraj nips the ball through the gate with Zak Crawley pushing forward.

Good length then that seam movement. Close to both the inside edge and the off stump but hits neither.

Strangled appeal for lbw to end the over but there was not much going for it. High and a little leg side, too.

England are keeping things ticking nicely without too much alarm at the moment.

Steady start from England so far but there's still a bit of tension around Headingley.

The ground is a long way from full but you can expect those seats to fill up quickly if this game is still heading towards an exciting conclusion after lunch.

  4. Eng 35-0published at 11 overs

    Crawley 19, Duckett 15

Full ball from Jasprit Bumrah and Zak Crawley drives through point.

Not quite out of the middle and Ravindra Jadeja is able to flick it back just before the rope as the England openers turn and come back for three.

India have hit a good line and length with 62% of deliveries so far this morning, their highest percentage for any spell of this Test match.

Sitting in the Howard Stand upper tier and it looks certain that rain is coming from our left. The horizon is becoming less visible...

That was an extraordinary shot. I was going to say they looked calm and hadn't been bothered about not scoring, but in Crawley's mind it must have done.

Oh Zak, why do you do this to us?

After driving for two out to deep point and having made a solid start to his innings, Crawley skips down the track to Mohammed Siraj and aims a massive shot over mid-wicket.

He connects with nothing but fresh air as heart-rates across the country leap up a few BPMs.

Taking my nephew James to see the cricket today. As someone with an allotment overlooking the stadium, I've spent a lot of this year wishing for rain in these parts and not getting any. Here's hoping for another bad day for the sweetpeas!

I think Jadeja is going to play such an important role for Gill. With the rough he can throw it into, you have to take a risk to score consistently out of that.

  11. Eng 27-0published at 9 overs

Two nicely-timed shots to end the over from Ben Duckett but the first finds the fielder at mid-on, the next the man at square leg.

    Maiden.

Which one of these England players will put their hand up and win the game for us? I think Ben Duckett!!!

Another beauty from Jasprit Bumrah to start the over.

The movement off the seam isn't quite so extravagant this time but it's enough to send the ball whistling past Ben Duckett's outside edge again.

It's been a good start from Siraj. He didn't enjoy going up the hill in the first innings, but he's found a bit more rhythm down the hill.

  15. Eng 27-0published at 8 overs

    Target 371

Did you see that ball from Bumrah, Jimmy?!

Even if it is too windy for swing and the pace of the pitch isn't too concerning, the batters still have to be looking out for the odd ball really misbehaving.

Mohammed Siraj gets through a good over to start with - just a single apiece for Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett from it.

Too much wind for swing and nice easy-paced track. England should win by tea.

Goodness me, you may have spoken too soon, Aggers!

An absolutely beauty from Jasprit Bumrah to end the over.

Round the wicket to the left-handed Ben Duckett, angled in towards about middle and leg and then nipping away significantly to beat the outside edge. Jaffa.

It went so far Bumrah appealed for a catch behind but Duckett was nowhere near it. Rishabh Pant dropped it in any case.

You can't knock off 370 against India on day five, can you?

Or can you? If England are going to do it then they'll have to absorb pressure at some point.
