  1. wicket

WICKET Bean c Haines b Hunt 0published at 12:19 British Summer Time 19 May

    Sussex v Yorkshire 12-1 (target 183)

    Great start for Sussex!

Sean Hunt finds the outside edge of Finlay Bean's bat and Tom Haines takes a sharp low catch at fourth slip.

Captain Shan Masood comes in at three.

  2. SURREY ALL OUT FOR 427published at 12:18 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 213 & 427 v Worcs 128 - lead by 512

That's it. Dan Worrall misses with a cross-batted swipe facing Yadvinder Singh and the ball uproots two stumps out of three.

Surrey have a vast lead and Worcestershire will need to bat for five sessions of play.

  3. KENT ALL OUT FOR 178published at 12:17 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178

George Garrett hits a four off Craig Overton, forward and glancing the ball to fine leg.

But Nathan Gilchrist is out in the next over.

The tailender is caught on the crease by Lewis Gregory, who gets the ball to move in, beat a backward defensive shot and clip the stumps.

There's no news of the follow on - but surely Kent will be asked to bat again.

Kent lose their last five today for 70 runs.

  4. WARWICKSHIRE ALL OUT FOR 94, ESSEX NEED 330 TO WINpublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 19 May

    Essex 162 v Warwickshire 397 & 94

Job done for the Essex spinners this morning, with Matt Critchley taking 4-24 and Simon Harmer 3-28 to roll Warwickshire for just 94 in their second innings.

Che Simmons was the last man out, drilling Harmer into the hands of Tom Westley at long on.

It means we could be set for a fascinating chase - Essex need 330 to pull off a victory that looked extremely remote when the Bears led by 235 on first innings.

  5. 'An extraordinary catch from Overton'published at 12:15 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 178-9

    Annie Chave
    BBC Somerset

An extraordinary catch from Craig Overton low down, that's an excellent reaction catch.

It's been a fantastic innings from Joe Denly.

  6. wicket

WICKET Denly c Rew b C Overton 61published at 12:10 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 174-9

That's the big wicket! This innings could end in a hurry.

Joe Denly is forward to drive Craig Overton and gets a thin edge to keeper James Rew, who is wrong footed but still takes it one-handed diving to his left.

    Sensational take.

George Garrett is in the middle.

  7. wicket

WICKET- Abbott b Singh 38published at 12:09 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 213 & 419-9 v Worcs 128 - lead by 504

Sean Abbott has taken Surrey past a 500 lead.

It's not his best shot but he gets enough bat on it to smash the ball from Yadvinder Singh through square leg on the front foot.

Two balls later though, Sean Abbott is gone.

He aims an almighty heave over mid on, misses and loses his leg stump.

Surrey are batting on and Dan worrall is in the middle.

  8. wicket

WICKET: Bethell c&b Critchley 17published at 12:06 British Summer Time 19 May

    Essex 162 v Warwickshire 397 & 88-9

Four wickets for Matt Critchley now - and he takes a magnificent catch off his own bowling to leave Warwickshire nine down.

Jacob Bethell had just gone on the offensive, smashing Critchley for six and four from the first two balls of this over - and he goes for another big shot off the next but skies it.

Critchley calls for the catch and races towards midwicket before diving to pull off an excellent grab as the ball descended over his shoulder.

  9. Jennings in the runs againpublished at 12:04 British Summer Time 19 May

    Lancashire 357 & 123-3 v Durham 236

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

For the second time in this game Keaton Jennings has reached a half-century. In the first innings he was the glue which held things together for Lancashire, as he made 115.

The knock was key in the side's 121 first innings lead. And he's now reached 50 again, for the fourth time this season.

Ben Raine thought he had him LBW just before he got to the half-century. Ben Stokes has also come into the attack to try and remove him, but so far to no avail.

It is a lovely day in Blackpool and Jennings is looking to make more hay while the sun shines.

  10. wicket

WICKET Atkinson LBW b Waite 4published at 12:04 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 213 & 411-8 v Worcs 128 - lead by 491

One ball after hitting a four pulled off the back foot in front of square, Gus Atkinson has gone.

It's a good ball from Matthew Waite, full, swinging in a tad and beating the forward push to strike the pad in front of middle and leg.

Atkinson has barely moved from the crease and that's plumb.

    Kemar Roach will bat now.

  11. Postpublished at 12:04 British Summer Time 19 May

    Sussex v Yorkshire 8-0 (target 183)

Adam Lyth gets Yorkshire's chase off to a flying start with a couple of boundaries off Ollie Robinson's first over.

The left-hander flicks the ball behind square to the rope before driving the England paceman through the covers.

175 more needed in the Hove sunshine.

  12. 6 runs

Sean Abbott hits top gearpublished at 12:03 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 213 & 406-7 v Worcs 128 - lead by 491

Yes, I think this might be a race to a 500 lead.

Sean Abbott barely advances from the crease as he gets into a perfect position nonetheless to loft Yadvinder Singh down the ground for six.

Six more two balls later as Abbott is half forward to lift the ball over square leg.

The Surrey 400 comes in the 100th over.

  13. Postpublished at 12:00 British Summer Time 19 May

    Notts 235 & 66-4 v Hants 276

Joe Clarke and Jack Haynes are making steady progress for Nottinghamshire as they look to recover from that triple burst by Kyle Abbott this morning.

Clarke has 12 and Haynes, his former Worcestershire team-mate, is on nine as the home side begin to build a lead - currently just 25 - over Hampshire.

  14. wicket

WICKET Stewart LBW b Pretorius 1published at 11:58 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 173-8

Grant Stewart lasts four balls and the slide might be on here.

He shapes to work the ball from Migael Pretorius to leg but he plays the wrong line and is hit on the knee in front of middle.

Nathan Gilchrist is in at 10.

  15. 'Gregory gets deserved wicket'published at 11:55 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 166-7

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

I did say Lewis Gregory deserved a wicket and now he's got it.

    He's bowling really well.

Beyers Swanepoel played that with his bat a long way from his body.

  16. wicket

WICKET Clark LBW b Waite 98published at 11:55 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 213 & 393-7 v Worcs 128 - lead by 478

Agony for Jordan Clark, who falls just short of a fifth career century.

The ball from Matthew Waite angles in, keeps a tad low and strikes below the knee roll in front of middle.

Time for Gus Atkinson to have a bat.

Might Surrey be targeting a 500 lead?

  17. wicket

WICKET: Benjamin c Cox b Critchley 2published at 11:54 British Summer Time 19 May

    Essex 162 v Warwickshire 397 & 73-8

Matt Critchley celebrates taking wicketImage source, Rex Features

Chris Benjamin was a late call-up to join the Warwickshire side last night - and he doesn't last all that long this morning.

Benjamin is on his way for two, steering Matt Critchley low to Jordan Cox at slip and Essex are into the tail now as Che Simmons makes his way to the middle.

  18. wicket

WICKET Swanepoel c Umeed b Gregory 6published at 11:52 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 166-7

Lewis Gregory has his first wicket of the innings as Somerset strive to work their way through the Kent tail.

Beyers Swanepoel is rooted to the crease, reaching for the ball with a crooked bat, feathering it to Andy Umeed at first slip.

    Grant Stewart to bat next.

  19. Postpublished at 11:51 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 213 & 389-6 v Worcs 128 - lead by 474

Matthew Waite gets one to nip back sharply and the ball deflects off the front pad of Jordan Clark for a leg bye off the last ball of the over.

Yadvinder Singh is in the attack for the first time today and his first ball is driven for four with a neat deflection of the wrists to guide the ball past extra cover.

Another drive sends the ball square for two.

A single to backward square takes him to 95.

  20. 50 for Keaton Jenningspublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 19 May

    Lancashire 357 & 112-3 v Durham 236

Keaton Jennings (Lancs)Image source, Rex Features

Keaton Jennings has re-emerged from his shell to pass 50 for the second time in this match - he clubbed Callum Parkinson for a straight six before steering Ben Raine to the third man boundary.

Jennings moves past 50 from 92 balls and the Lancashire skipper will now be eyeing a second century in the match against his former county.
