  1. Middlesex rein in bonus point effortpublished at 11:49 British Summer Time 19 May

    Glamorgan 183 v Middlesex 326-8

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Middlesex opted against an all-out charge for batting bonus points as they reached 326-8 at the 110-overs mark.

Ryan Higgins, on 53 overnight, was in charge of the effort but lost night-watchman partner Tom Helm for six, bowled by a lovely in-dipper from Andy Gorvin.

With two tailenders promoted, Middlesex had middle order man Jack Davies at nine but he was quickly lbw to Jamie McIlroy, playing no shot.

The ball appears to be keeping a touch low and Glamorgan still face a long haul to bat themselves back into the match, hoping the sun and a heavy roller produce an easy pitch for the rest of the game.

No Jack Leach in the attack as of yet today and Migael Pretorius continues. Just the one run from the 42nd over.

Beyers Swanepoel is down the track to Lewis Gregory, playing and missing.

An appeal for LBW is turned down. Inside edge and it's a no ball.

Another no ball as Gregory angles the ball in from wide of the crease.

    Lancashire 357 & 100-3 v Durham 236

Ben Raine has begun really well with the ball at Stanley Park as Durham look to fight their way back into the game against Lancashire.

Raine has gone for just 13 runs in 10 overs, as well as picking up the wicket of Will Williams to add to that of Josh Bohannon last night.

The seamer's also just had two leg before shouts against Keaton Jennings rejected, with the Lancashire captain so far increasing his overnight score by just three to 41.

  8. Postpublished at 11:37 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 155-6

An eventful 41st over begins with a Lewis Gregory no ball and Joe Denly drives the fourth legit ball square on the off side for four.

    That takes Kent past 150.

Four more off the fifth ball with a near identical stroke.

Can Denly marshal the tail and keep Somerset out in the field past lunchtime?

  10. Hain out with concussionpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 19 May

    Essex 162 v Warwickshire 397 & 63-6

Essex are operating a double-pronged spin attack, with Simon Harmer and Matt Critchley bowling in tandem as they attempt to scythe through the rest of this Warwickshire batting.

There will be a change to the Bears line-up from the first innings - because Sam Hain is out of the game after taking a knock on the helmet while fielding close in yesterday.

Chris Benjamin has been drafted in as a concussion substitute for Hain for the remainder of this game.

50 for Joe Denlypublished at 11:28 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 144-5

Migael Pretorius bowls a full length to Joe Denly, who blocks.

He keeps the strike with a single off the last ball.

Craig Overton to continue at the other end and we're down from four slips to three.

Denly turns the ball through short mid wicket and the ball is airborne for a while but runs away safely for four.

A rare miss behind the stumps by keeper James Rew off a loose delivery results in four byes.

An outside edge off a loose push squirts the ball past third slip and Denly has a half-century off 70 balls with six fours and one six.

That's his second score of 50 or more this summer for Kent with a best effort of 110 against the same opposition at Canterbury.

That's three wickets in his first 14 deliveries of the day as the Hampshire paceman nips the ball back at Tom Moores to send his off stump flying.

    Surrey 213 & 354-6 v Worcs 128 - lead by 439

Ben Gibbon bowls a wide one to Jordan Clark which is smashed to Adam Hose at extra cover.

    Maiden over.

That's a first shot of real intent from Joey Evison, clipping Craig Overton through mid on for four.

For some reason, Josh Davey is not on the field of play but there's no news of an injury at present.

A pause in play as Lewis Gregory asks the umpires to check the ball.

    It's being changed.

  19. Postpublished at 11:14 British Summer Time 19 May

    Somerset 554 v Kent 126-5

That's a really good first over of the day for Craig Overton, bowling a tight line a fraction outside off, getting Joey Evison to play and miss on the defensive.

But there's runs for Joe Denly at the other end, including a sweetly timed front foot drive through wide mid off for four.

10 runs come from the over. Denly is on 43.
