  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:06 British Summer Time 13 April

    D'Oliveira c Bess b Hill 2 (Worcs 91-7, needing 610 to beat Yorkshire)

What a ball from George Hill who gets one to spit up at Brett D'Oliveira who can only edge to Dom Bess in the slips.

Some of the dismissals have been avoidable, this was not.

If you're planning to go to Headingley tomorrow, find other plans...

  2. Bad light stops play at Bristolpublished at 17:03 British Summer Time 13 April

    #bbccricket

Glamorgan are following on at Gloucestershire, 4-0 and still 157 runs adrift, but bad light has stopped play... much to skipper Sam Northeast's relief, one would imagine.

  3. Postpublished at 17:01 British Summer Time 13 April

    Kent 193-2 - target 316

The Kent pair of Ben Compton and Tawanda Muyeye are well set, both past the 50-mark in a partnership worth more than 100.

Henry Brookes is coming back into the attack from the Pavilion End.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:59 British Summer Time 13 April

Kashif Ali lbw b White 22 (Worcs 90-6 needing 610 to beat Yorkshire)

Oh dear. Another Pear to depart without offering a shot.

Jack White gets one to nip in at Kashif Ali who allows it to clip his knee-roll and flick through to Jonny Bairstow.

Up goes the finger. Down goes Kashif Ali's head.

    All very tame.

The Pears are 519 runs adrift. Their heaviest ever defeat on runs was 372 against Lancashire in 1911, just to mark your cards.

Brett D'Oliveira heads out, having dislocated his thumb earlier in the match, trying to keep his side in it.

  5. Postpublished at 16:58 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 and 73-1 f/o v Northants 496

The crease is passed fit for play to resume.

Northants captain Luke Procter is into his sixth over of the innings and he offers a bit of width to Keaton Jennings, who plays and misses with a flashing square cut.

    Maiden over.

  6. 50 runs

50 for Tawanda Muyeyepublished at 16:56 British Summer Time 13 April

    Kent 183-2 - target 316

Toby Roland-Jones bowls to Tawanda Muyeye on 49.

Pushed into the off side on the front foot for one and there's the 50.

71 balls with five fours and a six.

That's his second half century for Kent this season after making a first innings 72 in the season opener at Northampton.

  7. 'It's excellent for Bairstow'published at 16:55 British Summer Time 13 April

    Worcestershire 88-5 - target 522

    David Lloyd
    Former England batsman

I think there's some doubt that Worcestershire will see this out.

It's excellent for Bairstow, especially with his bowling changes.

Waite was caught down the leg-side, they still have 26 overs to see out.

  8. dropped catch

Ben Raine dropped on 56published at 16:55 British Summer Time 13 April

Durham 194-6, leading Warwickshire by 256

Bears skipper Alex Davies has shelled a chance to oust Ben Raine after Michael Booth found the outside edge.

He spends a long time on the deck and his teammates heads drop a little. A real let-off.

  9. wicket

    Smith c Prest b Baker 84 (Surrey 283-5, leading Hampshire by 317)

Sonny Baker celebratesImage source, Rex Features

Jamie Smith might wish they umpires had kept them off.

Moments after play resumes at the Oval after the light and rain delays, he's caught by Tom Prest, giving Sonny Baker his first scalp of the innings.

His 113-ball knock featured nine fours and two sixes but he's back in the hutch.

Ryan Patel joins Dan Lawrence in the middle.

  10. Division Two updatepublished at 1 over

    Glam 385 & 0-0 (f/o) v Glocs 546

Glocs have enforced the follow on and put Glamorgan in the middle again with the Welsh side commencing their second innings trailing by 161 runs.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 13 April

Waite c Bairstow b Coad 4 (Worcs 88-5, needing 610 to beat Yorkshire)

Matthew Waite departs for four on his old stomping ground, caught down the leg side by Jonny Bairstow off Ben Coad.

    You fear for Worcestershire here...

  12. Postpublished at 16:48 British Summer Time 13 April

    Kent 176-2 - target 316

Ben Compton drives with sweet timing through the off side but that's only going to bring a single off Zafar Gohar.

Zafar is getting the ball to skid on a little here.

The spinner floats a ball up to Tawanda Muyeye and that's a gorgeous drive down the ground for four.

Muyeye goes back to a flatter ball to scoop to leg for one.

  13. 50 runs

50 for Ben Rainepublished at 16:47 British Summer Time 13 April

Durham 179-6, leading Warwickshire by 241

What a precious knock from Ben Raine.

He takes 88 balls to get there, and then ramps Taz Ali for a nice four, his eighth.

He has turned the momentum around this afternoon and the pressure is right back on the Bears bowlers now.

  14. 'Red Rose have to show more with the bat'published at 16:45 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 & 69-1 f/o v Northants 496

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

Lancashire lost by an innings four times last season, three of which came in consecutive games.

Heading into this season, starting as one of the favourites for promotion, most Lancashire supporters would have expected those defeats to be a thing of the past.

However, the Red Rose will have to show a great deal more with the bat second time round in this match to prevent an early season flash back to last summer.

Just preventing a defeat, by an innings or not, is an even tougher ask for Keaton Jennings side.

Batting first, Northamptonshire showed the pitch isn't offering a great deal of threat, perhaps the on loan leg-spinner, Calvin Harrison could hold the key.

  15. wicket

Sean Hunt celebrates a Somerset wicket with teammates

Archie Vaughan has been tempted into the pull a couple of times and got away with it but he doesn't time this one, getting it off the top half of his flat bat and holing out to Jack Carson just inside the ropes at deep square leg

Sean Hunt has a second wicket to go with his five-for in the first innings and Somerset's chase is off to a miserable start with 17 or the 595 runs needed chalked off.

  16. Postpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 and 69-1 f/o v Northants 496

Thick grey cloud hangs over Old Trafford but the rain has done frankly the decent thing and stayed away.

Northants captain Luke Procter brings himself on to bowl but we have a pause in play as there is concern over the bowler footmarks.

A member of the ground staff comes on to flatten them out with what looks like a small metal table held upside down.

I mean, I honestly have no idea...

Now the ground staff get to work scraping the crease with a shovel and a broom is on standby... Bet that sweeps the spinners well.

  17. 'This can go either way'published at 16:42 British Summer Time 13 April

    Notts 347 & 150-3 (lead Essex by 130)

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Essex did themselves a real favour getting rid of Joe Clarke early on, as they could be leading by 200 now.

Haynes is still relatively fresh at the crease, but has 26 overs to get going.

Plenty happened in the morning session, less so in the afternoon session, but this can go either way.

  18. Still off for light at The Ovalpublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 13 April

    #bbccricket

Umpires check light at the OvalImage source, Rex Features

As you can see, the rain has stopped in London but Martin Saggers and Graham Lloyd say the light is not good enough to return just yet.

Hopefully they'll be back before long though, looking at the weather radar...

  19. Division Two updatepublished at 107.5 overs

    Glocs 546 v Glamorgan 385

The Glamorgan innings is over with Glocs in the driving seat with the Welsh side trailing at the midway point by 161 runs.

Zaman Akhter was the pick of the Glocs bowling with 5-85.

  20. Postpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 13 April

    Kent 165-2 - target 316

Tawanda Muyeye is forward to Toby Roland-Jones, blocking into the off side.

He'll get a run flicked to deep square leg.

Ben Compton sees out the over and now Muyeye will face a bit of left arm spin from Zafar Gohar.
