    Slater b Harmer 67 (Notts 347 & 113-1, lead by 93 runs)

The end of an entertaining knock from Ben Slater.

The Notts opener had got his beans bouncing in the previous over against Noah Thain but did not quite get his feet in place on an attempted late cut.

The ball came into him slightly, clipped his under-edge and chopped on to the stumps.

  2. Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 13 April

    Kent 94-2 - target 316

Zafar Gohar is bowling superbly for Middlesex here.

    Full, off stump and flighted.

Ben Compton drives a flatter ball and that's a stunning bit of fielding from Zafar's own bowling, taking it on the bounce and throwing down the stumps.

    Compton made his ground.

A leg slip comes in to join slip and leg gully.

    Phew. Eventful maiden over.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 13 April

    McKinney c Smith b Barnard 33 (Durham 125-6, leading Warwickshire by 187)

    I'm so sorry Durham fans...

Ed Barnard lets out a guttural cry as he gets Ben McKinney, the first innings centurio, to edge to keeper Kai Smith to break that handy partnership.

The good news is that David Bedingham is going to bat, he limps out with a runner, after being struck on the boot in his first innings.

Effectively 187-6 on the third afternoon... game is on!

  4. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 13 April

Durham 125-5, leading Warwickshire by 187

Ben Raine has moved onto 28 from 44 deliveries with five fours, sharing 38 runs for this sixth wicket with Ben McKinney who is 33*.

With David Bedingham potentially unable to bat, this stand could be pivotal in the context of the match.

    The lead is 187.

Not sure we'll be seeing Surrey and Hampshire back in the middle for a little while...

No surprise than an early tea will be taken at The Oval.

  6. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 and 31-1 f/o v Northants 496

Raphy Weatherall is leg side to Keaton Jennings and that's a good take by keeper Lewis McManus.

    A maiden over even so.

Justin Broad is into his third over and his second ball is banged in halfway down the track and pulled firmly over mid wicket by josh Bohannon for four.

JB drifts to leg and Bohannon shovels the ball square for a leg bye.

  7. Division Two updatepublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 13 April

Leicestershire's momentum has stalled somewhat as Rehan Ahmed has been followed back to the hutch by Sol Budinger (44) and Ian Holland (5).

The hosts are 166-3 against Derbyshire at Grace Road, leading by 253.

Jack Leach celebrates a wicket with his Somerset teammates

Oh dear.... it's a big old pair for Danny Lamb as he lasts three balls before a defensive prod forward takes the edge and nestles in James Rew's gloves behind the stumps.

A little more in the way of celebration from the Somerset troupe given that was the second wicket in five balls.

But there will also be an air of caution given that showed there may be a little in the pitch for the spinners as this match progresses.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 13 April

    Bell-Drummond b Zafar 0 (Kent 91-2 - target 316)

    First ball!

Daniel Bell-Drummond also misses on the drive against spinner Zafar Gohar and the Kent captain loses his off stump!

    Tawanda Muyeye is in next.

  10. wicket

Libby lbw b Hill 11 (Worcs 28-1, needing 610 to beat Yorkshire)

George Hill celebratesImage source, Rex Features

One down for Yorkshire, nine to go.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 13 April

    Crawley b Zafar 58 (Kent 91-1 - target 316)

    Bowled him!

Lovely loop and flight from Zafar Gohar and Zak Crawley has missed on a whip through mid wicket.

Kent captain Daniel Bell-Drummond is in next.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 121.1 overs

    Hudson-Prentice c Vaughan b Leach 18 (Sussex 294 & 417-6, lead by 510 runs)

Jack Leach shows no more emotion than he did handing his cap and jumper to the umpire than he does when Fynn Hudson-Prentice holes out.

Archie Vaughan does the business at long on, taking a well judged but comfortable catch and Sussex are six down.

  13. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 13 April

Durham 111-5, leading Warwickshire by 173

Celebrappeal from Vishwa Fernando to try and sway an lbw decision against Ben Raine, but neither Raine, not the umpire, are moved.

    Durham continue to build.

An eighth boundary, this one off Noah Thain, sees Ben Slater reach a half century as Nottinghamshire trap on nicely at Trent Bridge.

  15. Postpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 13 April

Worcestershire 22-0, needing 610 to beat Yorkshire

Strangled appeal from Ben Coad and the Tykes cordon as the ball thumps into Gareth Roderick's pads.

    Nothing doing.

11 overs in, and 142 more to negotiate for the visitors... unless they get any help from Mother Nature.

  16. Postpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 and 24-1 f/o v Northants 496

Justin Broad is in the attack and Keaton Jennings is forward to glance the ball square for four runs.

He follows that up with a leg bye.

JB is full outside off and Josh Bohannon drives through cover point for four to reach 12.

  17. 100 runs

100 for Ingrampublished at 92 overs

    Glam 331-5 (trail by 215 runs) v Glocs 546

It is a slog at Bristol and not in a good way although Colin Ingram has reached three figures in Glamorgan's reply to the hosts big first innings score.

They still trail by 215 runs but a 128-run partnership between Ingram and wicketkeeper Chris Cooke is nudging this game closer to a draw.

  18. 50 runs

50 for Zak Crawleypublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 13 April

    Kent 79-0 - target 316

Zak Crawley battingImage source, Rex Features

Zafar Gohar bowls to Zak Crawley, who is on 47.

A missed attempt to flick on to the on side but the LBW shout is turned down.

He glances the next ball fine for four and that brings him a first 50 of the season off 60 balls with eight fours and one six.

  19. Postpublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 and 15-1 f/o v Northants 496

Can Northants prize out another wicket or two before tea?

Will the Red Rose and the weather allow it?

Rahpy Weatherall is in the attack and Josh Bohannon blocks, going back and across.

He nearly follows one outside off but moves the bat inside the line at the last moment.

  20. drinks break

    Drinks breakpublished at 119 overs

    Sussex 294 & 404-5 (lead by 497 runs) v Somerset 201

It looked for a moment that the declaration had been made but it was a drinks break.

With the best part of 140 overs left in this game if Sussex were to declare now Somerset would need about three and a half an over.

Tom Banton could knock most of that off on his own so a bit more batting from the home side looks the order of the day.
