  1. 100 up for Durhampublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 13 April

Durham 101-5, leading Warwickshire by 163

Ben Raine swipes Ethan Bamber through the covers for a rare boundary off him - Bamber has 1-24 from nearly 15 overs now.

Raine has 11 while Ben McKinney is growing in stature, ominously for the visitors, just as he did in the first innings and has 27.

    The lead is 163.

  2. 50 runs

50 for Simpsonpublished at 118.2 overs

    Sussex 294 and 400-5 (lead by 493 runs) v Somerset 201

A few milestones up with that single for John Simpson off Archie Vaughan with the half century for the Sussex skipper and 400 up in the second innings for the hosts.

Tempting though it is to think about a declaration when the lead stretches to 500 (which it will be shortly) but there are still plenty of overs in the game.

  3. Bad light stops play at the Ovalpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 13 April

    Surrey 253 and 282-4 v Hants 219

We have had pewter skies in South London for a while now and even with the floodlights on it is still decidedly murky.

A couple of breakthroughs for Hampshire in that session but this is a healthy Surrey lead of 316, especially in these conditions.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 13 April

    Foakes c Prest b Hampton 1 (Surrey 253 and 281-4 v Hants 219)

Not a great shot as Ben Foakes tries to whip a marginally short ball from Brett Hampton through the on side and is caught at mid wicket by Tom Prest.

The new batter is Dan Lawrence.

  5. 'Durham are in a spot of bother'published at 14:44 British Summer Time 13 April

    Durham 387 & 88-5 (lead by 150 runs)

    Clive Eakin
    BBC CWR Sport

Durham are in a bit of a spot of bother here.

The partnership comes to an end, as Ethan Bamber strikes to dismiss Will Rhodes.

Warwickshire will still need to get the runs, whatever happens, it could be over today...

  6. 6 runs

Six for Slaterpublished at 22.3 overs

    Notts 347 & 79-0 (lead by 59 runs) v Essex 367

Ben Slater pounces on a short ball from Simon Harmer, pulling him high behind square leg and into the empty seats a few rows back. The spinner comes back well next ball beating Slater all ends up.

Notts are travelling comfortably at the moment with the lead up to 59.

  7. Off the markpublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 and 11-1 f/o v Northants 496

Keaton Jennings is still looking for his first runs in this innings - and he'll get them with a gentle nudge wide of the slip cordon for four off the bowling of Liam Guthrie.

  8. Postpublished at 14:40 British Summer Time 13 April

    Surrey 253 and 280-3 v Hants 219

Ben Foakes gets into a bit of a tangle facing Liam Dawson as he blocks from the crease and gets an inside edge on to pad.

The ball lands safely in front of the popping crease.

  9. Postpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 13 April

Worcestershire 12-0, needing 610 to beat Yorkshire

    Baby steps for the Pears.

Gareth Roderick cracks Ben Coad to the ropes for the first boundary of the innings and the runs required for victory dips under 600.

Two balls later Coad gets one to lift up at Roderick who takes it bang on the hand.

As if they needed anything else to go against them...

  10. 6 runs

Jamie Smith goes bigpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 13 April

    Surrey 253 and 274-3 v Hants 219

Shot! Jamie Smith moves to 77 with a short arm jab over mid wicket off the bowling of Brett Hampton.

A lovely shot to lighten the gloom at a cloudy South london.

  11. 'The breakthrough eludes Essex'published at 14:36 British Summer Time 13 April

    Notts 347 & 68-0 (lead Essex by 48)

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Essex are labouring away, they have had very little to comfort them.

It looks rather comfortable for Notts at the moment.

The breakthrough still eludes Essex for now.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 13 April

Rhodes lbw b Bamber 18 (Durham 87-5, leading Warwickshire by 149)

Durham are in a spot of bother.

Ethan Bamber pins former Bear Will Rhodes infront, not that the batter agrees with the decision, and the slight resistance from the hosts from a 23-run partnership is broken.

Ben Raine strides out at seven. We may not see David Bedingham at all, it seems.

The Durham lead is only 149.

  13. Postpublished at 14:35 British Summer Time 13 April

    Lancs 228 and 7-1 f/o v Northants 496

Two slips in for Liam Guthrie, now in his third over as he gets one to swing in late to Josh Bohannon, who nudges a single into the on side.

Keaton Jennings is forward to block into the off side. He tries to work a straighter ball into the on side but is still without a second innings run off 15 deliveries.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:31 British Summer Time 13 April

    Sibley c Baker b Dawson 105 (Surrey 253 and 264-3 v Hants 219)

Ben Brown congratulates Liam DawsonImage source, Getty Images

Dom Sibley goes for 105 off 223 balls as Liam Dawson induces a big booming drive onto the off side and Sonny Baker takes the catch a yard in front of the deep cover boundary.

Keeper-batter Ben Foakes is in next.

  15. Division Two updatepublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 13 April

    #bbccricket

Zak Crawley has moved to 37 from 42 balls as Kent build a foundation from which to chase 316 to beat Middlesex at Canterbury.

The hosts are 47-0 with Ben Compton 10* at the other end in the sunny Garden of England.

Rehan Ahmed has gone for a blistering 77 at Grace Road where Leicestershire are 132-1, now 223 ahead of Derbyshire, with Sol Budinger on 44*.

  16. Postpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 13 April

    Surrey 253 and 264-2 v Hants 219

Jamie Smith advances to 68 with a sumptuous drive down the ground off the bowling of Brett Hamtpon, now in his seventh over of the innings.

The clouds are gathering somewhat over the Oval and I daresay we might need a bit of floodlight assistance soon.

79 bowled and Hampshire will surely take the new ball ASAP.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 13 April

    Jones LBW b Guthrie 0 (Lancs 228 and 0-1 f/o v Northants 496)

Northants strike early with Liam Guthrie and the Red Rose are in big trouble at Old Trafford, where they have not lost to this opposition since 1999.

Stuck on the crease and struck on the pad in front of off stump.

    Michael Jones has to go.

The new batter is Josh Bohannon.

  18. Worcestershire begin second innings challengepublished at 14:21 British Summer Time 13 April

Worcestershire 0-0, needing 610 to beat Yorkshire

Jake Libby and Gareth Roderick stride out knowing the Pears will need to survive 153 overs, or score 610 runs, to avoid defeat at Headlingley.

They laid a fine foundation with 90 for the opening wicket yesterday, only for a collapse of eight wickets for the addition of 46 runs to start the slide into the position they now find themselves in.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 110.3 overs

    Coles c Rew b Vaughan 39 (Sussex 294 & 374-5, lead by 467 runs)

James Coles attempts the sweep and gets a top edge that James Rew scurries and grabs with a diving catch behind the stumps.

Muted celebrations from the Cidermen given the lead is heading towards 500. Vaughan now has 2-104 and Leach at the other end also has three figures in the debit column.

  20. Postpublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 13 April

    Surrey 253 and 257-2 v Hants 219

Jamie Smith hits Liam Dawson to point to bring up the 100 partnership with Dom Sibley in 31 overs.
