    Bumrah's first class, and that was a first class delivery. To suggest off the evidence of 3 half-centuries that Bethell would have done any better is utter nonsense. Zak deserves another shot at putting those three aging antipodeans to the sword, in my opinion.

    Appreciate Crawley is under pressure but that was a jaffer from one of the best around. Loved what I saw from Bethell in NZ but if you’ve played the game, you know the biggest difference in batting positions is between opening and 3. Steve Smith, a modern great couldn’t even hack the change last year.

    Very odd shot from Ben Duckett.

    He doesn't like to leave the ball but in trying to avoid doing so, he ends up attempting an odd waft at a rising delivery from Prasidh Krishna.

    Steady start from the big seamer, just two singles from it.

    Prasidh Krishna's height will be a factor. He needs to hit the good length spot more often. He has been bowling well and working on his red ball so that experience will help him.

    His first few overs will decide whether England have put pressure on him.

    It goes at a good height to backward point where Ravindra Jadeja, of all people, puts it down.
