As that ball went up into the air I did think Alice Capsey hadn't got quite enough of it, but it turned out to be just enough.

She is playing a brilliant innings here - 43 runs off only 25 balls.

  2. Invincibles 151-3published at 90 balls

    Capsey 43, Scholfield 15

"Well done, Schutter," chirps Amy Jones while putting on a hint of an Aussie accent behind the stumps. She finishes with 1-34. A rare rough day.

    10 to go.

  3. 6 runs

    Invincibles 149-3published at 88 balls

Six more! This time it's the experienced Megan Schutt who is punished. I am not sure Alice Capsey middled it but she's still cleared the leg-side boundary.

These are Schutt's most expensive Hundred figures.

Oval Invincibles are really putting their foot down with only 15 balls to go now.

They are swinging these balls over to leg side.

  5. 6 runs

    Invincibles 142-3published at 85 balls

Hannah Baker's 20 balls end on a down note as Paige Scholfield heaves her for six over mid-wicket. baker finishes with 2-24 and now Scholfield and Capsey have 15 balls to provide the big finish.

That's such good execution. These girls have been on fire and their execution has been brilliant today.

We have talked about their reverse sweeps and now they are bringing out the ramp. They just keep executing things so well, so that does show that it's a good pitch.

  7. Invincibles 133-3published at 80 balls

    Capsey 35, Scholfield 5

    Clever. Very clever.

Ellyse Perry has fine leg inside the circle so Paige Scholfield just scoops the ball over her head for four more. Perry finishes with 0-34 from her 20 balls.

  8. Invincibles 128-3published at 76 balls

Four more to Capsey. It was too straight again from Ellyse Perry.

She has been guilty of that today.

Oval Invincibles have got a brilliant platform to set a high run total, but it will take a special innings from either Alice Capsey or Paige Scholfield.

They will need a 40 off 20 balls or a 50 off 30 balls to get up to that 180. This field does look an absolute belter though.

  10. Invincibles 124-3published at 75 balls

    Capsey 30, Scholfield 1

Paige Scholfield gets off the mark with a push to long-off. She's talented but may be best just giving the strike to Alice Capsey right now.

  11. Invincibles 122-3published at 72 balls

Alice Capsey can punish you if you give her lives. She repeats this shot and gets it over the head of the fielder for four this time.

  12. dropped catch

Capsey dropped on 21published at 71 balls

Reverse sweep from Alice Capsey... in the air... and through the hands of Sterre Kallis.

It should have been taken. And it went for four.

  13. Invincibles 113-3published at 70 balls

That record total of something above 181 is looking a way off now.

This illustrates nicely how the runs have dried up since Meg Lanning was dismissed.

If Megan Schutt ever starts badly, she always comes back quite well.

She has just leaked boundary after boundary in these early stages, but she has got her wicket now.

A great catch as well from Ailsa Lister! She has done well to avoid that fielder, with her eyes on her ball the whole time. She is a very good fielder. She has buckets for hands and rarely drops those.

    Kapp c Lister b Schutt 13 (Invincibles 113-3)

    Good catch.

Ailsa Lister clings on despite having a team-mate hurtling towards her at square leg. It sees the back of the dangerous Marizanne Kapp, who was just starting to motor.

  16. Invincibles 109-2published at 65 balls

    Capsey 21, Kapp 9

    Shot!

This might be the best of the lot. Hannah Baker, going nicely, pushes one just a little too full and Marizanne Kapp thumps her back over her head for a one-bounce four.

This is a really important five balls.

We are at the stage of the game now where if the Oval Invincibles can get a few more boundaries, it might kickstart them to get that mammoth total.

If Hannah Baker can bowl a really good five balls here, then it will really slow them down and they could try to bring a wicket.

  18. Invincibles 102-1published at 60 balls

    Capsey 19, Kapp 4

Spin duo Taylor and Baker are just keeping things in check a little.

When there's a stoppage in play, the bowlers can get together and the coaches can come out and talk a little bit of magic.

You could actually hear Lauren Winfield-Hill say 'oh no' as she hit that ball in the air. The leg-spinner has done the trick again.

  20. Invincibles 95-2published at 55 balls

    Capsey 13, Kapp 3

Marizanne Kapp isn't a bad player to come in with this score on the board, however. She is as good as they come.
