    Winfield-Hill c Perry b Baker 33 (Invincibles 92-2)

This'll help the Phoenix! Hannah Baker strikes again to remove the second Invincibles opener in Lauren Winfield-Hill.

Winfield-Hill was trying to clear mid-off again. She only managed to put a catch into the hands of Ellyse Perry.

It is all fun and games until it's not!

It was nice to share a partnership with Lauren [Winfield-Hill]. It is a pretty nice wicket to be fair, it is coming on pretty well so we just tried to take it on as much as we could. We got a few boundaries away, which is nice.

I think we can get quite a few runs out there. We have given ourselves a really good platform.

In a chat on BBC Two, Meg Lanning says the Invincibles need at least 160 but also says they'd like to double their score from here.

Marizanne Kapp will follow these two if a wickets falls.

  4. Invincibles 91-1published at 50 balls

    Winfield-Hill 33, Capsey 12

181-3 is the highest total across the four and a bit seasons of the women's Hundred, if you're wondering. That's under threat today.

At the halfway stage, we're going to have a strategic timeout.

Emma Lamb is one of the best fielders out there domestically.

Her taking that catch just showcases her skill. You wouldn't want anyone else under that ball.

  6. Invincibles 85-1published at 45 balls

What was I saying about that wicket stopping the Invincibles charge?

Alice Capsey is having none of it. She bangs two of her first four deliveries for four.

Hannah Baker strikes! The 21-year-old leg-spinner, who made her England debut against Ireland last year, halts this Invincibles charge by getting Meg Lanning caught at deep mid-wicket.

Lanning had just pulled one for four in that direction. She could not repeat it a second time.

Birmingham Phoenix are in a bit of trouble here.

This pitch looks an absolute belter for batting and it's not helped by the fact that Oval Invincibles have a very powerful batting line-up.

  9. Invincibles 72-0published at 35 balls

Here's another boundary for Lauren Winfield-Hill.

She clobbers Millie Taylor, a bowler of unconventional left-arm wrist spin, over mid-off and the ball skips on and on over the dry, quick outfield.

It was a good five balls in fairness to 20-year-old Taylor but the runs keep coming.

That shot was absolutely crushed by Lauren Winfield-Hill!

She is able to get herself into such a strong position and she is so still on the point of impact with the ball.

There's no wonder she's got a huge smile on her face at the minute.

It's hot and sunny enough to be on the beach and Meg Lanning is seeing this white cricket ball like the proverbial seaside inflatable.

She drives through extra cover for four now before Lauren Winfield-Hill cracks into the advertising boards at the mid-wicket boundary.

It's punishing for the Phoenix in the heat.

A great powerplay for the Oval Invincibles.

Birmingham Phoenix will be wanting to put on a show at home, but they haven't quite got things right with the ball yet.

Lauren Winfield-Hill and Meg Lanning have got the Oval Invincibles off to an absolute flyer. They are finding the boundaries all around the ground and manipulating the field.

  14. dropped catch

    Invincibles 54-0published at 25 balls

Not only is this Invincibles best powerplay score, it's now the best by any team in the women's Hundred. The previous best was Welsh Fire's 53 against London Spirit in 2023.

It almost ends on a high for the Phoenix as the very last ball is nicked by Lauren Winfield-Hill and dropped by the diving Amy Jones behind the stumps.

This looks like a batter's game at the moment.

Lauren Winfield-Hill and Meg Lanning are really taking advantage of this powerplay. They are making the most of these 25 balls, where they have the opportunity to hit it over and through the field.

They are getting maximum value for their shots. I'm just wondering whether Birmingham Phoenix can change their field a little bit.

This is now the highest Powerplay score by the Oval Invincibles in the Women's Hundred, going past their previous high of 45-0 against London Spirit at Lord's in 2022.

It gets worse for the hosts.

After that boundary there's a belated call for a no-ball. That means the fielders have to come back in for another delivery - another free hit.

Spinner Voll lofts it up there but Lanning is seeing it like a dream and slog sweeps the game's first six.

  18. Invincibles 42-0published at 20 balls

    Lifted over mid-off!

Lauren Winfield-Hill continues her charge. Great batting.

  19. Invincibles 34-0published at 16 balls

The Phoenix turn to spin but it cannot stop the flow of runs. Aussie Georgia Voll is cut carefully behind square by Lanning.

  20. Hundred combined tablepublished at 15:14 BST 12 August

Phoenix need a victory today to start moving up the combined men's and women's table. A double win for Invincibles would lift them up to level with the current leaders, Southern Brave. You can find that table and others in our dedicated stats page here.
