Jemimah Rodrigues is using the crease beautifully, stepping to the leg side then off side to put off Em Arlott, who is under a bit of pressure here.

Rodrigues follows her six by lifting the ball over long-off and then sweeping Arlott's final delivery through backward square.

Amanjot chips Em Arlott towards mid-wicket but doesn't quite get hold of it and India's batters run a single as Charlie Dean returns the ball.
Rodrigues, who was struck on the helmet by a bouncer two balls prior, shows her team-mate how its done, heaving the next delivery over the mid-wicket ropes for the game's first six.

England will be very happy with the first half of their bowling innings. I was surprised when Nat Sciver-Brunt decided to bowl first on a traditionally slower wicket in Bristol.
And India have got a lot to do here. They need to push their run-rate up to get a decent score on the board here.

Lauren Filer got England off to a great start with a vicious bouncer to dismiss Shafali Verma.
The seamer used the short ball to great effect in her first two overs with nine of her 14 deliveries short of a good length. Will we see more of the same from her later in the innings?

A change of ends for Sophie Ecclestone, and her second over, like her first, goes for only three singles.
Her final ball turns sharply and Amanjot gets nowhere near it while attempting the sweep.

It feels on this pitch, holding your length is the best option with that occasional short ball that England bowlers have used very nicely today.
When you stray a little bit fuller, it comes onto the bat and Jemimah Rodrigues has made sure, if she gets anything fuller, it's going back over the bowler's head.
Em Arlott returns after one over of Sophie Ecclestone, and Rodrigues cracks her fifth delivery down the ground for four.
Singles off every other ball of the over, with Rodrigues now well set on 28 from 22 deliveries.
It's an expensive start for Linsey Smith.
Amanjot sends the spinner's first ball through third, and Laurens Bell and Filer do good teamwork on the boundary to restrict India to three.
Rodrigues chips the next delivery over Nat Sciver-Brunt at a short extra cover for four before Amanjot also reaches the boundary with a shot over mid-off, bringing up India's 50 from 46 balls.
