Jasprit Bumrah has taken more wickets this tournament than he has conceded boundaries.

I can't think of many bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah, he is unique.

Skilful, quick, consistent but also with lots of variation. He is world-class, a clever cricketer and one of Rohit Sharma's greatest assets.

I love watching him bowl, you can't take your eyes off him when he's bowling.

Clough only lived in Hartlepool. He's not from there.

But my mam reckons she went round for tea once without realising who he was.

Meat Loaf was brilliant in Spice World (the Spice Girls movie) as the bus driver and roadie. Having already proven he could play a roadie in an earlier film called, errrm, Roadie.

    Right then, actual news.

Forget the fact they are supposed to be inspecting at 16:15, we're starting at 16:45. No overs lost. The toss will be in about 10 minutes.

Usually when the ground staff are concerned about more rain coming, they leave the stumps out so that they can drag the covers on quicker.

But the stumps are in, so this is huge news.

A few things that a lot of you have pointed out.

Meat Loaf was also in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Those of us of a certain age will have definitely done the Time Warp at a school/wedding disco.

John Darwin, the famous canoe fraudster, is also from Hartlepool.

Some are saying Brian Clough is a Hartlepudlian. I thought he was from Middlesbrough?

And that's spot on Alex, that's completely true.

Adil Rashid has been the player that England can't play without, and it's been that way for a while.

We've been asking Jimmy Anderson about retirement for about a decade but we never speak about that with Rashid, perhaps because he's a spinner and we don't get as tired as seamers?

I can report that it's now absolutely glorious in Guyana. Almost seems a bit daft to be waiting another 15 minutes to inspect.

We knew that India were going to play their semi-final in Guyana no matter what, regardless of where they finished in the table. That was to suit Indian timezones and for the demand from fans to watch it.

But on that, why not play both semi-finals at the same time? Last night's game, did not have to be a night game. That way, you get the most eyes as possible on both semi-finals, surely that's what you want!

As a reminder, we're due for an inspection at 16:15 BST. We don't need to start a 10-over match until 21:40. That's probably enough time to watch a few Meat Loaf films back.

My mate Wardy has just messaged me to say Meat Loaf's best role was in The 51st State. Not seen it.

I blame my wife for knowing this... she's a Hartlepudlian. H'angus the Monkey is the Hartlepool United mascot. They are dubbed the Monkey Hangers after the monkey you reference Rob who story says they suspected was a spy as they'd never seen one, so hanged it. So the monkey wasn't but H'Angus definitely is from Hartlepool.

I don't want to be the voice of doom here, but I remember once turning up to play in Guyana and there were fish on the outfield.

Codspur: My mate Pete Collins is from Hartlepool and loads of us know him. So no offence Matt but I'm not having Stephan's ill researched stat.
