Ooooh Prasidh Krishna gets a bit of bounce which surprises Harry Brook. It spits up to nearly shoulder height and Brook does well to play it safely and run two.

Two balls later, he pounces on a wider delivery and cuts it four.

India are massively in the driving seat. Ollie Pope looked a bit shaky last night so they'll be ready to go and target him.

This crowd feels very pro-India today - far more so than the previous days. There are blue shirts and Indian flags in every section.

We've just had a sudden downpour here in Herefordshire. Assuming that it's moving north towards you so be warned.

I think those lost 10 overs have taken away England’s chances of winning...

Can we swap the Edgbaston and Silverstone weather? That way we might get an uninterrupted British GP and a draw for England in the Test.

Well done everyone. After scrabbling around behind the sofa for something to talk about and filling over two hours with wonderful cricket chatter, we've made it to the restart.

Keep your suggestions for uncapped players coming because I'm having enormous fun.

Just started raining again in Worcester and the clouds are heading your way! Rain stop play at 13.15 is my prediction I’m afraid.

How James Hildreth never got the call up always boggles me. First class average in the 40s and a triple ton, what wasn't to like?! Was strong across all formats as well.

    Benn in Rhodes

Uncapped players - the batter with the most runs and the bowler with the most wickets Alan Jones and Don Shep. When you see the spinners being picked now and Shep never getting a sniff.....

Ian Austin was the throwback entry from Higgy (my boss).
