Oh Josh. He just can't get into the flow of this day.

First he sends another down leg and then the next is too short and is lifted for four.

About 15 years ago, I was in a changing room with my older daughter (she was seven). Her locker was below mine. She swung my locker door to get it out of the way and I grabbed it just in time to stop it smacking Mark Ramprakash in the face.

I’ve had two sightings of English cricketers in the wild, I met David Willey in the Harrogate Nando’s, my non-cricket fan mates thought I was quite strange as I was trying to think of something to say to him... I also watched England beat the Netherlands in the pub on the table behind Sam Curran last summer, I assume he was loving it.

Chris Woakes is rarely more than a six on the annoyed scale but he's nudging that mark now because stand-in skipper Ollie Pope has let one through his legs. It releases the pressure on new batter Ravindra Jadeja who gets three to his total.

If you're going to upset any of this England team, Woakes may be your best bet. He's too nice to hold a grudge for too long.

    Sai Sudharsan scores in this series - 0, 30, 61, 0 and 38

Despite a couple of ducks, Sudharsan has mostly done the hard work in challenging conditions to get the starts. However, he has failed to convert those starts into big scores.

Karun Nair drives and then clips boundaries in this over, putting a stomp back into Josh Tongue's step. The second of those deliveries in particular was wayward.

Remember England's only spin options are Joe Root and Jacob Bethell. It's going to be seam for the most part, including Chris Woakes who is coming on now.

England have got a little sniff here. They'll be thinking if they get a couple now, and from a poor start to the day, they've dragged themselves back.

    Nair 4, Jadeja 2

Jamie Overton was a little floaty early on but has cranked it up to 87mph here. The ball is moving into left-hander Ravi Jadeja too although it's straight from the hand and relatively easy to pick.

Ravindra Jadeja has been the rock and glue when Indian wickets have fallen in this series and here he is.

Sai Sudharsan is gone! It was a fine ball by Josh Tongue. A bowler who sprays it around a bit suddenly produces a jaffa.

A beauty! From nowhere, having hurled another down the leg side to start the over, Josh Tongue gets one right in the business area. It nibbles away and takes Sai Sudharsan's edge. It must be so hard to face someone like that. Sudharsan wouldn't have had any idea what to expect.

Josh Tongue replaces Gus Atkinson. His first spell was 0-18 from five overs which does not explain just how wayward it was...

If there was a fourth slip, then it would've been a straight forward catch off Sai Sudharsan. That would've been safely pouched.

Edged through the gap in the slips! Jamie Overton could so easily have had a wicket here. It would have gone straight to fourth slip but instead Sai Sudharsan gets four to bring up India's 100.

I once queued for fish and chips with Ian Bell at Dads Lane fish bar in Birmingham. Said "see you in Adelaide" with no intention of going. Wish I had!

I saw Andy Flower in the WH Smith in Leamington a few days after Christmas a good while back. I was buying a jigsaw puzzle, he was helping his daughters buy One Direction merch.

When I was a young lad in the nineties David Gower walked right behind our campervan, just as my mother was reversing out of a parking space in Romsey. I like to think my overexcited shouts of 'Mum! Don't kill David Gower!' saved his life. Or at the very least, a lot of embarrassment.

Shubman Gill is staring at the TV screens in the dressing room as they show replay after replay of his run out. He's still in credit for the series, I guess.

Gus Atkinson has now bowled five maidens today. Tidy.
