  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 23 July

    J Rew c Lees b Parkinson 9 (Somerset 48-4 - Target 86)

Four for Callum Parkinson! He is giving Durham a sniff...

James Rew comes down the pitch to negate the turn but hits in the air to short midwicket and Alex Lees makes no mistake.

Somerset need 38 runs. Durham need six wickets.

  2. 100 runs

100 partnershippublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 23 July

    Derbys 110-1 v Leics 398

Well played Henry Came (55*) and Caleb Jewell (48*).

After the early loss of David Lloyd Derbyshire could have wobbled but these two have negotiated any danger there may have been.

  3. Career best score for Lyndon Jamespublished at 15:32 British Summer Time 23 July

    Hants v Notts 517-7

Lyndon James moves to 167 and surpasses his previous career-best score in the championship of 164 not out.

It's fitting James gets there with his seventh six of his knock.

He's been dropped twice but made the most of those chances.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 23 July

    Lammonby b Parkinson 22 (Somerset 43-3 - Target 86)

Callum Parkinson has his third wicket of this Somerset innings.

It's an absolute beauty of a delivery to left-hander Tom Lammonby that bounces and spins past the bat and knocks the bails off just above middle stump.

    Three down and 43 needed.

    Game on?

  5. 50 runs

50 for Beau Websterpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 23 July

    Warwickshire 105-5 v Worcestershire 333

    Batted Beau!

The Australian all-rounder is doing his best to pull his side out of the fire here and moves to 50 off 64 balls.

It helps move Warwickshire over 100 runs and has brought some much-needed stability.

  6. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 23 July

    Somerset 42-2 - Target 86

Durham's spinners are causing problems, but they just don't have enough runs to play with.

Tom Lammonby ges full reward playing a reverse sweep off George Drissell and is then gifted a full toss next ball.

Both run to the boundary and the target is under 50.

Now Lammonby gets another full toss and that is a third four of the over.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 23 July

    Thain b Sandhu 0 (Sussex 204 v Essex 430-7)

Poor Noah Thain - he's been waiting patiently for a bat and goes first ball.

Gurinder Sandhu nips one through the youngster's defences and makes a mess of the stumps.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 23 July

    Critchley run out (Hudson-Prentice) 123 (Sussex 204 v Essex 430-6)

It's probably the only way Matt Critchley was going to get out.

Michael Pepper plays one into mid wicket and calls a single but Critchley is slightly slow to react and Fynn Hudson-Prentice scores a direct hit.

  9. GLAMORGAN ALL OUT FOR 327published at 15:25 British Summer Time 23 July

    Glam 327 v Kent 155 & 0-0

Chris Cooke is the last man out for Glamorgan who have a first innings lead of 172.

The middle order partnership between Ben Kellaway (90) and Colin Ingram (87) was an important one for the hosts who now switch their sights onto taking wickets.

  10. 100 runs

100 partnershippublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 23 July

    Hants v Notts 505-7

Brett Hutton has made 52 of the century stand with Lyndon James.

Still no declaration - Notts challenging Hampshire to bowl them out.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 23 July

    Bancroft lbw b Anderson 2 (Gloucestershire 20-1 v Lancashire 557)

    Sir James Anderson everybody!

Three balls into his third over and the cricketing knight strikes.

He thuds one into the pads of Cameron Bancroft, who is squared up a touch and enough for the finger to go up.

Captain Anderson's fine day continues. Captain Bancroft's miserable one carries on.

  12. 500 up for Nottspublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 23 July

    Hants v Notts 500-7

The misery continues for Hampshire as Notts bring up the 500.

We'll have a drinks break on the reaching of that milestone.

I will just remind you, Hampshire won the toss...

  13. Tea in Scarboroughpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 23 July

    Yorkshire 376-5 v Surrey

It's a rather bleak picture on the Yorkshire coast where the rain is falling.

But tea has been officially called so that won't be a problem if the players get back on the field.

  15. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time 23 July

    Somerset 24-2 - Target 86

Nearly a third for Durham in their unlikely pursuit of 10 Somerset wickets.

James Rew is squared up by off-spinner George Drissell coming round the wicket.

It takes the edge and goes low to Matt Potts at second slip, but he can't hang on.

That could be crucial for the north east county's very slim hopes.

  16. 50 runs

50 for Brett Huttonpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 23 July

    Hants v Notts 497-7

Brett Hutton completes a nicely constructed half century.

The bizarre thing is Hutton will be replaced on days three and four of the game by the returning Josh Tongue from the England camp.

One to tell the grandchildren - scored a 50 and got dropped mid-game!

  17. ouch!

Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 23 July

    Sussex 204 v Essex 426-5

Michael Pepper wears one from Gurinder Sandhu - you can probably guess the region it has hit as the Essex man crumples to the floor.

Out comes the physio and drinks as well.

Matt Critchley has a smile on his face - I assume smiling about his century rather than his mate's misfortune.

Pepper eventually regains his composure and we're back under way.

Critchley and Pepper are 19 runs short of a century stand.

  18. 'Hutton looks comfortable'published at 15:16 British Summer Time 23 July

    Hants v Notts 493-7

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Brett Hutton looks at home out there. He looks comfortable.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 23 July

    Kohler-Cadmore c Potts b Parkinson 10 (Somerset 16-2 - Target 86)

Hang about! Durham have a second wicket.

Excellent stuff from Callum Parkinson as he gets Tom Kohler-Cadmore driving and it's flashed to Matt Potts at second slip. Very similar to what we've seen from fellow left-armer Jack Leach today.

Good catch and Somerset still need 70 with eight wickets in hand.

  20. 6 runs

Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 23 July

    Hants v Notts 492-7

Brett Hutton clumps another one for six over the short boundary at Utilita Bowl.

Notts have 500 in their sights.

Hampshire's bowlers have putting up their feet on their minds but they may still be waiting a while.
