  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 11 May

    Steel b Hannon-Dalby 55 (Warwicks 665-5 dec v Surrey 330-6)

We said Warwickshire needed inspiration and OHD provides it.

Plenty of movement into the bat and it just flicks the leg bail to bring Cameron Steel's fine innings to an end.

Jordan Clark is next at the crease and competitors don't come much tougher than him.

  2. wicket

    Elgar c Bean b White 4 (Essex 8-1 - target 520)

Jack White takes a wicketImage source, Rex Features

Yorkshire have a wicket and it's the big one.

Jack White gets one to lift more than South African Dean Elagr was expecting and Fin Bean dives to take the catch at third slip via the shoulder of the bat.

  3. Postpublished at 110.2 overs

    Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 329-5

Two batting points for Surrey as we reach the end of the 110th over.

There are 18 remaining in the day and Warwickshire need inspiration now, but only have perspiration to offer at the moment.

Ben Foakes and Cameron Steel have now added 112 for the sixth wicket.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:05 British Summer Time 11 May

    Hartley c Vasconcelos b Sanderson 2 (Lancs 139-8, target 236)

Another tame dismissal as Tom Hartley pokes at a wide ball he might have left and edges to Ricardo Vasconcelos at first slip.

Tame seems to sum up Lancashire's chase nicely.

  5. Postpublished at 17:05 British Summer Time 11 May

    Essex 4-0 - target 520 v Yorks

The fourth innings begins at Chelmsford and Charlie Allison steers Ben Coad's first ball away for an easy boundary with the field up.

  6. 'Dominant display from Notts'published at 17:04 British Summer Time 11 May

    Notts 333 & 345 v Hants 196 & 84-9

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Nine down - one more away from Nottinghamshire pulling off what has been a monumental game for them.

It's all about Notts, it's not about Hampshire here. From start to finish it's been a completely dominant display with both bat and ball and they are worthy of coming into this game as table leaders.

  7. Postpublished at 109.5 overs

    Warwicks 665-5 dec v Surrey 328-5

A little bit of leg theory now from Che Simmons

It may have worked for Harold Larwood, but not for him so far as Ben Foakes and Cameron Steel add easy singles.

The third is again dug into the body and Foakes glances it down fine for four.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 11 May

    Wheal c Abbas b James 0 (Hants 82-9, target 483)

These are some of the easiest wickets Lyndon James will ever get.

That is another piece of catching practice gifted by Hants, Brad Wheal chipping tamely to Mo Abbas at mid off.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:53 British Summer Time 11 May

    Balderson c McManus b Conway 0 (Lancs 134-7, target 236)

A rising ball from Harry Conway is fended away with the edge going to Lewis McManus.

This game is slipping away from the chasing side.

  10. Yorkshire declarepublished at 16:52 British Summer Time 11 May

    Essex 123 v Yorkshire 216 & 426-6 dec

Jonny Bairstow slogs Matt Critchley to long on, where Simon Harmer takes the catch to dismiss Yorkshire's captain for 79.

That is the final bit of action in Yorkshire's second innings as Bairstow decides that a lead of 519 is enough.

Adam Lyth's 185 was the batting highlight for the White Rose and showed the Essex batters that there is not much to fear in this pitch.

Can they survive the best part of four sessions for a draw?

  11. 50 runs

for Cameron Steelpublished at 106.5 overs

    Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 320-5

Cameron Steel goes to 50 in his first Championship innings of the summer in the grand manner, smashing Ed Barnard over wide long-on for a six.

It has taken him 92 balls and he has also hit nine fours - and his stand with Ben Foakes is now worth 103.

  12. 'Absolute trashing for Kent'published at 16:49 British Summer Time 11 May

    Kent 212 & 176 v Glamorgan 549-9 dec

    Matt Cole
    BBC Radio Kent

It's an absolute trashing for Kent, the margin of victory not flattering Glamorgan at all. They absolutely dominated Kent through all sessions of the game.

Well, a very chastening defeat for them and a fantastic win for Glamorgan. Glamorgan are on a roll now, what a way to take them into their next game against Northamptonshire.

  13. Postpublished at 16:49 British Summer Time 11 May

    Notts 333 & 345 v Hants 196 & 80-8

Kyle Abbott is not going down without a fight and hits a third four in four deliveries from Brett Hutton.

  14. Postpublished at 114.2 overs

    Essex 123 v Yorks 216 & 422-5

Jonny Bairstow carves a Noah Thain full toss into the off-side and a fielding lapse by Shane Snater gifts him four more runs.

  15. Postpublished at 16:45 British Summer Time 11 May

    Essex 123 v Yorks 216 & 417-5

Well it's a surprise to us.

Yorkshire bat on after tea at Chelmsford despite having a lead of over 500.

Clearly Jonny Bairstow doesn't think they need four sessions to bowl Essex out.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time 11 May

    Albert c Haynes b James 9 (Notts 333 & 345 v Hants 196 & 68-8)

Two in four for Lyndon James but that was all about Jack Haynes.

This is a decent enough ball to get and his defensive prod takes the edge.

But it took some catching from that point and Haynes has dived sharply to his left at third slip to pick it off the grass with millimeters to spare.

    Hants are done here.

  17. Postpublished at 105.1

    Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 313-5

That one from Che Simmons doesn't bounce anywhere near as much as Cameron Steel expects and he can only let it hit his body.

In best Brian Close fashion, he declines to rub the painful area.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 11 May

    Fuller c Patterson-White b James 1 (Notts 333 & 345 v Hants 196 & 67-7)

Looks like Hants have a coach booked for the south coast tonight.

James Fuller will know what he was attempting there but whatever it was it was not looking after his wicket.

The Hampshire bowler has taken a couple of balls to decide what the pitch is doing and to have a look at Lyndon James and has then flicked loosely to square leg where Liam Patterson-White takes a good catch.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:36 British Summer Time 11 May

    Notts 333 & 345 v Hants 196 & 66-6

Liam Dawson had blotted Brett Hutton for six in his previous over and he has gone for another here only to pick out Mo Abbas on the hook.

Hutton is now eyeing a five-for with his haul up to 4-41 as Hants are crumblng towards a three day defeat.

  20. 'Comprehensive victory for Glamorgan'published at 16:36 British Summer Time 11 May

    Kent 212 & 176 v Glamorgan 549-9 dec

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

You've got to enjoy these wins when they happen.

Swings and roundabouts in cricket, Kent were enjoying the heights in the first few weeks. I'm sure Kent's time will come again when they have more players available and they're not on the treatment table.

Glamorgan have hit their straps at last, they've followed up last week's improved performance with a very comprehensive win in a game they have dominated from start to finish.
