  1. Postpublished at 53 overs

    Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 143-2

We now have Dan Lawrence out in the middle with Dom Sibley.

Warwickshire continue to post a short mid-on fielder, which could make it interesting for the non-striker if he is called for a quick single.

Lawrence collects his first four with a straight drive which ricochets away off the stumps.

Jack Haynes has two centuries this season

Jack Haynes, who struggled to convert a host of half centuries last season, but has a second hundred of the season and seventh in first class cricket.

He has ridden his luck to get there having been dropped on 80 by Tom Prest on the deep square leg boundary.

But it has been a front-foot display and it is brought up with a single off Sonny Baker.

This has been an urgent partnership with fellow centurion Liam Patterson-White with the pair adding 97 in just just under an hour and a half.

  3. Postpublished at 12:21 British Summer Time 11 May

    Northants 238 & 238-8 (lead by 200) v Lancs 276

Ben Sanderson and Liam Guthrie are on the charge against Lancs and the former goes 4,2,4,4, dot, 6 off Will Williams.

Now Guthrie is joining with the pair taking 2, 4, 1, 6 off the next over from Tom Bailey.

  4. Kent to follow onpublished at 12:20 British Summer Time 11 May

    Kent 212 v Glamorgan 549-9 dec

Glamorgan have asked Kent to bat again.

We don't claim any powers of clairvoyancy - in this position 99 captains out of 100 would have enforced the follow-on (you have to allow for one maverick).

  5. 100 runs

100 for Patterson-Whitepublished at 12:16 British Summer Time 11 May

    Notts 333 & 271-6 (lead by 408 runs) v Hants 196

And Liam Patterson-White beats Jack Haynes to three figures with a huge six over midwicket.

It has been a terrific knock and has taken 141 balls with 16 fours and two maximums.

  6. Kent all outpublished at 74.1 overs

Zain ul-Hassan bowls Kashif AliImage source, Rex Features

Zain ul-Hassan flattens Kashif Ali's off stump and brings Kent's first innings to an end at the Spitfire Ground - giving him figures of 2-48.

You have to feel for Chris Benjamin, who runs out of partners on 94 not out, having overseen a lower-order revival from 23-5 on day two.

He faced 171 balls and hit 14 fours.

The follow-on decision will surely be a formality as the home side 337 behind. .

  7. 'Warwickshire need to bowl Surrey out today'published at 12:12 British Summer Time 11 May

    Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 136-2

    Clive Eakin
    BBC CWR Sport

The batters continue to dominate this county match.

What Warwickshire's bowlers have done this morning is keep things pretty tight. They've only conceded 28 runs so far in the first hour of play, but in truth they haven't look all that threatening either.

They do need to bowl Surrey out - or at least get close to bowling them out - by the end of today to have any sort of chance.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 48.5 overs

    Patel c Davies b Webster 42 (Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 136-2)

Having been hit for two successive fours, Beau Webster takes his revenge as Ryan Patel feathers a catch to the keeper.

It's the Australian all-rounder's first wicket for Warwickshire, but came out of the blue with the two Surrey batters having been in very little trouble up to that point.

  9. 50 runs

50s for Alsop and Colespublished at 12:09 British Summer Time 11 May

    Sussex 284 & 121-3 (lead by 225) v Worcs 180

A steer behind square for four brings a half century for Tom Alsop off the bowling of Ben Gibbon.

James Coles brought up his own 50 in Gibbon's previous over and this pair have put on 55 this morning without too much worry.

  10. 50 runs

for Dom Sibleypublished at 47.2 overs

    Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 126-1

Dom Sibley steers Beau Webster through point for four, then goes to 50 from 137 balls with a single off Rob Yates - although it was only just wide of short leg's outstretched left hand.

It's the fifth time he has passed 50 this season - and he hit two hundreds in the same match against Hampshire last month.

  11. Kent reach 200published at 71.3 overs

    Kent 200-9 v Glamorgan 549-9 dec

Kashif Ali plays around his front pad to a ball from James Harris, but gets bat on it and a single to square leg brings up Kent's 200.

A new ball will be due in nine and a bit overs but Glamorgan would like to wrap this up before then.

  12. 'Sussex need to commit to their shots'published at 12:03 British Summer Time 11 May

    Sussex 284 & 117-3 v Worcs 180

    Liam O'Brien
Cricketer for England PD Team on BBC Sussex

A big thing for me as a cricketer is you fully commit to shots.

A lot of the wickets in this game have been from half-shots. Alsop in the first innings prodded one outside and off whereas if he really committed he would have been fine.

When they half commit and prod at the ball, that's when they get in trouble.

  13. dropped catch

Sanderson dropped on 4published at 11:57 British Summer Time 11 May

    Northants 238 & 194-8 v Lancs 276

Lancs miss a chance to take a third wicket in seven deliveries, Tom Bailey getting a thick edge off Ben Sanderson's prodded defence and Luke Wells spilling a catchable chance at gully.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 70.1 overs

    Garrett c Cooke b ul-Hassan 35 (Kent 194-9 v Glamorgan 549-9 dec)

    Zain ul-HassanImage source, Getty Images

It's taken them 12 overs but Glamorgan have the breakthrough.

A good delivery from Zain ul-Hassan leaves George Garrett off the pitch and he edges to the keeper, who takes a comfortable catch in front of first slip.

Kent trail by 355 as Kashif Ali arrives in the middle.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:52 British Summer Time 11 May

    Zaib c Jennings b Bailey 50 (Northants 238 & 189-8 v Lancs 276)

A second wicket in three balls and the other set batsman, Saif Zaib, has gone.

Tom Bailey angles a decent delivery across the left hander and he edges to Keaton Jennings standing in widish slip position who takes the catch.

One brings two! You got to love the old cliches.

  16. 100 runs

for Adam Lythpublished at 11:51 British Summer Time 11 May

    Essex 123 v Yorks 216 & 161-1

    Adam LythImage source, Rex Features

A little risky, but Adam Lyth gets away with a top edged sweep off Simon Harmer and reaches the 39th first-class hundred of his career from 196 balls faced.

It is his second Championship century of the season, having made 106 against Hampshire, and it's no wonder Yorkshire value him so much.

  17. Postpublished at 43 overs

    Warks 665-5 dec v Surrey 115-1

Warwickshire turn to spin - the off-spin of Rob Yates to be precise.

He could be sending down quite a few overs today.

There is turn outside the off stump when left-hander Ryan Patel is facing as his first delivery shows.

  18. 50 partnership for Kentpublished at 11:48 British Summer Time 11 May

    Kent 191-8 v Glamorgan 549-9 dec

George Garrett pierces the cover field for the third boundary of his innings and brings up a 50 stand with Chris Benjamin.

Garrett is 33 not out and Kent are making a decent fight of this, having been 23-5 in the early stages of their innings.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:48 British Summer Time 11 May

    Harrison lbw b Williams 15 (Northants 238 & 189-7 v Lancs 276)

No foot movement whatsoever and a miss was always likely to end in tears.

Calvin Harrison is pinned bang in front by Will Williams and Northants lose a first wicket of the morning.

The lead is 151 and that has given Lancs a breakthrough that was much needed.

  20. Postpublished at 59.3 overs

    Essex 123 v Yorks 216 & 154-1

Too full from Kasun Rajitha and James Wharton cover drives for four as Yorkshire's total passes 150. The right-hander is 36 not out.
