    Spin is not doing well here - Samit Patel is TONKED over the sightscreens by Jos Buttler who has made a career out of punishing balls like that. He then carves another four and is racing towards a 50. Claasssss.

    What a shot that is! Like a left-handed Pietersen, Rachin Ravindra fetches one from outside off stump and baseball bats it through mid on. He looks a very tidy player.

    And that's a 50 partnership. The Originals look well placed as Jos Buttler just effortlessly hits another boundary through long off.

    "I was frustrated [not bowling] but all three seamers have done really well so I can't really complain. You have to be patient and today was my chance."

    On playing with Jimmy Anderson: "There is so much to learn from him, how he trains, and plays and it is good to pick his brain for technical advice.

    "It is a slow pitch out there but we are going well and are building a partnership."

    Someone is going to have to have a bang soon - as Jos Buttler hits a lovely flat cross-bat shot for four through deep square - and then FLAILS a six to the same place!

    A big man with big hands is not going to miss that catch.

    Jacob Duffy has been superb in the Powerplay through this competition, drawing a false shot one in every three balls bowled - more than any other Northern Superchargers bowler and as a consequence is their highest wicket-taker in the opening phase.
