  1. Early lunch at Lord'spublished at 12:24 British Summer Time 10 September

    Middlesex 377 v Gloucs 62-2

A reminder that lunch is being taken early at Lord's to try and limit time lost to bad light earlier on.

Conditions permitting, we're back on at 1300 BST.

  2. wicket

WICKET Alsop c Cooke b Kellaway 7published at 12:24 British Summer Time 10 September

    Sussex 208-4 v Glamorgan 186

BenKellaway picks up his third wicket.

This is the perfect off spin delivery to a left-hander. It pitches on leg stump clips, turns and tickles the outside edge.

Chris Cooke swallows it up with the gloves and Tom Alsop has to go.

Glamorgan finding a foothold just before lunch.

  4. 50 runs

50 up for Essex's Pepperpublished at 12:23 British Summer Time 10 September

    Essex 331-6 v Notts

Michael Pepper becomes the third Essex batter to reach his 50 in this innings, after Paul Walter and Tom Westley.

Can he emulate his skipper Westley and make a century? Notts, having reduced their hosts to 86-4 early on yesterday, are really toiling with the ball now.

  5. wicket

WICKET Prest c Singh b Stobo 102published at 12:23 British Summer Time 10 September

    Kent v Hampshire 332-9

Tom Prest goes for another big swing but one hand comes off the bat as it is mistimed to Jas Singh at deep midwicket.

Singh does well to keep his feet inside the boundary rope.

One of the best, most entertaining, centuries you will see.

  6. wicket

YORKSHIRE ALL OUTpublished at 12:20 British Summer Time 10 September

    Leics 98 v Yorks 379 (Fisher c Cox b Rehan Ahmed 88)

No maiden hundred for Matt Fisher.

With only Ben Coad for company, Fisher goes to cut a ball that was probably too full to do so and gets a feather under-edge that's well caught by Ben Cox.

They'll take lunch at Grace Road and Yorkshire have a lead of 281.

    A superb morning for them.

Jonny Tattersall made his fourth first-class hundred before eventually falling for 126.

His stand with Fisher added 138 and has given their side plenty to bowl at in the third innings.

  7. wicket

WICKET Borthwick c Hurst b Bailey 9published at 12:19 British Summer Time 10 September

    Durham 25-2 v Lancs 228

Lancashire have two early wickets and need one more for a precious bowling point.

Scott Borthwick throws his head back in frustration as he tries to force Tom Bailey away off the back foot and edges the ball to keeper Matty Hurst.

    David Bedingham is in next.

  8. Postpublished at 12:17 British Summer Time 10 September

    Somerset 317 v Surrey 81-2

Ryan Patel and Ben Geddes are trying to get Surrey through to lunch.

Neither are taking any more chances against Archie Vaughan's off spin, which removed both openers.

He's got through nine overs, three maidens, 2-10 so far!

13 overs of Jack Leach at the other end and we've already had 32 sent down in the session.

Literally should be bonus points for being on time.

  9. wicket

WICKET Andersson c Broad b Keoghpublished at 12:17 British Summer Time 10 September

    Northants 219 v Derbys 159-8

Derbyshire have lost three wickets for zero runs.

Rob Keogh gets Martin Andersson to push at a leg stump ball, which has been nicked to Justin Broad at leg slip.

Three wickets each for Keogh and Chahal.

    Harry Moore to bat next.

  10. wicket

WICKET Chappell c Procter b Chahal 0published at 12:14 British Summer Time 10 September

    Northants 219 v Derbys 159-7

Two wickets in the over! Zak Chappell has had his moments against Northants, notably at Derby earlier this season, but he goes for a four-ball duck today.

He miscues a booming drive off Yuzvendra Chahal and lofts the ball to Luke Procter at mid off.

    Alex Thomson in next.

The visitors were looking comfy at 150-4 but have lost three wickets for just nine runs, all to Chahal.

  12. 100 runs

100 for Tom Prestpublished at 12:12 British Summer Time 10 September

    Kent v Hampshire 330-8

    Simply incredible innings.

    100 in 100 balls.

Tom Prest's third hundred of the season is brought up with a huge slog sweep six - a quite mind-blowing shot.

    He's only 21. He's the real deal.

  13. wicket

WICKET Madsen b Chahal 47published at 12:12 British Summer Time 10 September

    Northants 219 v Derbys 159-6

Big wicket! Yuzvendra Chahal has Wayne Madsen caught on the crease trying to defend and the ball spins past the bat to rip out leg stump.

    Zak Chappell to bat next.

  14. 50 runs

50 partnership between Prest and Whealpublished at 12:11 British Summer Time 10 September

    Kent v Hampshire 324-8

This isn't looking good for Kent. Remember they have only kept their opposition to under 400 in the first innings once so far this season.

Tom Prest has scored 45 out of the 53 runs in this stand.

  15. Play resumes at Hovepublished at 12:10 British Summer Time 10 September

    Sussex 198-3 v Glamorgan 186

Only a passing shower and play is back under way.

  16. 350 up for Yorkshirepublished at 12:08 British Summer Time 10 September

    Leics 98 v Yorks 353-9

Matt Fisher is still there for Yorkshire and he brings up a third batting point.

He cut a short, wide one from Tom Scriven past point for his ninth boundary.

It extends his career-best to 78 not out now.

  18. wicket

WICKET McKinney b Phillip 8published at 12:07 British Summer Time 10 September

    Durham 16-1 v Lancs 228

Anderson Phillip has his first wicket as a Lancashire player.

It's a bit of a giveaway really, as Ben McKinney is rooted to the crease edging the ball into his stumps with an ugly swipe.

A much needed early breakthrough for the Red Rose.

Durham captain Scott Borthwick is in next.

  19. champagne moment

Alex Davies reaches his 1,000published at 12:07 British Summer Time 10 September

    Worcestershire 307, Warwickshire 57-1

    Ged Scott
    BBC Sport at Worcester

Logan Van Beek joins the attack - and Warwickshire skipper Alex Davies immediately tucks in.

Two sixes and a four in the over takes him to 1,000 County Championship runs this summer.

He is the first in Division One to reach that figure, having beaten Surrey skipper Rory Burns, who was out earlier this morning when on 974 - and ahead of Davies in the race to get there.

Two other players have already reached 1,000 first-class runs this summer - England duo Joe Root and Jamie Smith.

And two Division Two players had already done it in the Championship - Middlesex's Zimbabwean Ryan Higgins and South African Colin Ingram, for Glamorgan.
