    Surrey 213 v Worcs 49-4

Surrey are roaring back into this game as Sean Abbott strikes in his first over.

Adam Hose is the fourth Worcestershire wicket to fall, driving on the up from the crease and edging to a crouching Dan Lawrence at slip, who takes it above head height.

Pears captain Brett D'Oliveira is in next.

    Somerset 350-4 v Kent

More punishment for Marcus O'Riordan as Tom Banton is forward to drive the spinner over his head for six.

Four more runs driven on the front foot through cover.

The new ball is taken at the other end and James Rew gets a single off Beyers Swanepoel to take Somerset to 350 (and of course a third batting point) in the 80th over.

    He's on 95.

  3. Postpublished at 17:04 17 May

    Sussex 150 v Yorkshire 73-3

Joe Root has moved up to 25 off 32 balls without blinking.

    Leics v Gloucs 316-1

Gloucestershire's first-wicket partnership ends at 316 as Ben Charlesworth is dismissed by Louis Kimber for 126, caught at long-off.

  5. Stokes into 13th overpublished at 17:02 17 May

    Lancashire 255-5 v Durham

    Sam Drury
BBC Sport cricket writer at Stanley Park

After a six-over spell in the afternoon session, Ben Stokes is back.

The England Test captain is into his 13th over of the day and the good news is that his body seems to be holding up well.

There is none of the grimacing and clutching at his knee that we've seen when he's bowled over the last couple of years.

    So far, so good then...

  6. 'It's been a day dominated by the bowlers'published at 16:59 17 May

    Notts 149-7 v Hants

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

It's been very much a day dominated by the bowlers.

It's been hard going for Notts with the bat, made even harder by the loss of all those wickets early on.

  7. WICKET Ali c Foakes b Worrall 15published at 16:59 17 May

    Surrey 213 v Worcs 45-3

An entertaining but all too brief an innings comes to an end.

That's three wickets for Dan Worrall.

Kashif Ali is caught on the crease, edging behind to keeper Ben Foakes, diving in front of first slip.

    Adam Hose is in next.

Rob Jones drives Dan Worrall on the front foot through cover for four and Kashif Ali takes successive fours off Jordan Clark at the other end.

One is driven to long off and another is gracefully clipped through mid wicket.

Good counter-attacking spell here from the Pears.

  9. WICKET: Balderson c Robinson b Potts 14published at 16:56 17 May

    Lancashire 255-5 v Durham

Well, Tom Bruce is still there but George Balderson is trudging off now...

Matty Hurst is the new man at the crease for Lancashire.

The field is brought in for Marcus O'Riordan...

Driven over the bowler's head, down the ground for four runs and that's his first ever red ball century at Taunton!

150 balls. 15 fours and one six.

He holds his arms aloft and takes a moment to soak in the applause.

Tom Bruce ensures that Lancashire have at least one bonus point safely stowed away, slashing Matthew Potts to the boundary and then adding three runs later in the over to take his side beyond the 250 mark.

Bruce, who recorded his maiden half-century for the Red Rose in their defeat at Trent Bridge last time out, looks well set to follow that up with another score here. He's 31 at the moment.

  13. 150 partnership between Banton and Rewpublished at 16:50 17 May

    Somerset 322-4 v Kent

James Rew is on the back foot and punches Joey Evison to long on to take the fifth wicket partnership to 150 off 210 balls.

  14. 'Worrall has been magnificent'published at 16:48 17 May

    Surrey 213 v Worcs 26-2

    Frank Watson
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

Dan Worrall has hardly bowled a bad ball.

He's been magnificent in this spell.

Tea at Hove and hundreds of people allowed on the outfield, well done Sussex!

This game is back in the balance with George Hill out on the stroke of tea, Joe Root is battling away, but it’s not inconceivable that Sussex might bat again today.

  18. Postpublished at 16:44 17 May

    Lancashire 236-4 v Durham

Bright start for Lancashire after tea, with Tom Bruce thumping the first delivery of the session from Callum Parkinson to the fence.

Four more runs to Rew, cut square from the crease.
