  1. 100 for Keaton Jenningspublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 17 May

    Lancashire 186-3 v Durham

Keaton Jennings (Lancs)Image source, Rex Features

A second century of the season for Keaton Jennings and this one is posted against his former county as well!

Not the most convincing of ways to get there, edging Matthew Potts between the slips and gully for four, but Jennings has batted well today and deserves his ton, which comes from 138 balls.

  2. '250 would be nice for Surrey'published at 15:17 British Summer Time 17 May

    Surrey 193-8 v Worcs

Not what Surrey will have wanted but what has been impressive is this spell by Matthew Waite because the run rate is still four an over in the innings as a whole.

Surrey have looked to attack every single opportunity but Waite now has the figures of 3-14 and he's in his 10th over.

Just as Joe Leach with the new ball bowled absolutely beautifully and took three crucial wickets.

We've now seen someone come in - particularly with Ollie Pope and Dan Lawrence so well set, Surrey will have been looking at 300 and now 250 would be nice.

  3. 50 runs

50 for Tom Bantonpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 17 May

    Somerset 228-4 v Kent

There it is! A little bit of width on a full ball from Joey Evison, which Tom Banton steers away to third man for his 10th four.

His 50 comes in 79 balls. His third half century of the season.

  4. wicket

WICKET: Bell c Robinson b Coughlin 8published at 15:15 British Summer Time 17 May

    Lancashire 181-3 v Durham

First bonus point for Durham as they capture a third wicket and Paul Coughlin is the man who strikes.

George Bell has an untidy swish and Ollie Robinson takes a two-handed catch in front of his face.

That brings Tom Bruce to the middle for his Blackpool debut.

  5. 6 runs

Postpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 17 May

    Somerset 223-4 v Kent

It's not his best shot but James Rew gets enough elevation on a slog sweep to get Marcus O'Riordan away for six.

He's nearly caught at deep square leg, where the fielder palmed it over the rope.

    That's the 50 partnership in 73 balls.

  6. 50 for Ed Barnardpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 17 May

    Essex v Warwickshire 162-6

Ed Barnard (Warwicks)Image source, Rex Features

Good knock by Ed Barnard, who drives Matt Critchley for a single to reach his half-century from 92 balls.

It's the fourth time this season Barnard has passed 50 - and last time he converted it into a ton, so he's in the sort of form Warwickshire have needed this afternoon.

Michael Burgess is on 34 and the pair have now added 58 as they fight back from a fairly poor morning session.

  7. wicket

WICKET Atkinson lbw b Waite 0published at 15:06 British Summer Time 17 May

    Surrey 189-8 v Worcs

Gus Atkinson goes for a four-ball duck.

Matthew Waite gets the bowl to move in off a length, striking the knee roll in front of middle and leg.

That's his third wicket and now it's time for Kemar Roach to bat.

  8. Postpublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 17 May

    Somerset 215-4 v Kent

Marcus O'Riordan bowls a full toss but Tom Banton can't get the ball away.

He drives the next ball through the off side for one to move to 49.

  9. Garrett leaves the fieldpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 17 May

    Somerset 210-4 v Kent

George Garrett has left the field two balls into his 11th over and Joey Evison will take over.

He doesn't appear to be injured so that may be illness.

James Rew drives at a length ball, opening the face of the bat and Ben Compton makes a superb stop to keep it to a single.

A change of bowling at the other end as spinner Marcus O'Riordan comes in to the attack.

  10. Yorkshire bowl Sussex outpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 17 May

    Sussex 150 v Yorkshire

Sussex top scorer James Coles is the last man to go for 38 and the hosts have been skittled for 150 at Hove.

A fine opening session and a half for Yorkshire as George Hill finishes with 4-22.

  11. 'Hampshire's catching has not been good since lunch'published at 15:01 British Summer Time 17 May

    Notts 105-6 v Hants

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

I feel Hampshire's pain out there with their catching since lunch, it's not been good.

You can't keep letting players off. They had a problem with it last year in the slips and it's come back to haunt them since lunch.

This wicket is only going to get better, that's the expectation so you've got to make the most of things when it's all in your favour.

They did before lunch - caught everything.

  12. wicket

WICKET Abbott c Smith b Waite 2published at 14:58 British Summer Time 17 May

    Surrey 185-7 v Worcs

A better over from Nathan Smith after that onslaught from Jordan Clark, costing only three runs.

Matthew Waite is getting the ball to shape away from Jordan Clark outside off stump.

Clark gets a single second ball and Sean Abbott heaves a bouncer away through the leg side off a top edge...

Caught by Nathan Smith and Surrey are seven down!

    Gus Atkinson to bat next.

  13. Somerset pass 200 at Tauntonpublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 17 May

    Somerset 204-4 v Kent

Tom Banton batting for SomersetImage source, Rex Features

Grant Stewart is round the wicket to the left-handed James Rew, who works the ball away leg side for one.

At the other end, Rew stays in the crease and flicks a short ball from George Garrett through mid wicket for a single to take Somerset to 200 in the 49th over.

Tom Banton plays and misses at a ball that bounces steeply on a length outside off but sees out the over with a stylish cut off the back foot through gully for four.

  14. 'Surrey have been so positive'published at 14:50 British Summer Time 17 May

    Surrey 180-6 v Worcs

    Frank Watson
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

Jordan Clark is another really exciting cricketer. He's so positive,

That's been the thing that's struck me the most today about Surrey is that despite losing the toss and being put in on a green top and getting off to a terrible start. They've just been so positive.

Clark's response to that little mini crisis was four consecutive boundaries.

  15. Yorkshire run through Sussexpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 17 May

    Division Two latest

Yorkshire have taken three quick Sussex wickets to leave them 139-8 at Hove. George Hill has 4-17, while Ben Coad has picked up three wickets.

Still no breakthrough for Leicestershire. Gloucestershire are now 176-0 with Cam Bancroft on 78 and Ben Charlesworth unbeaten on 69.

Glamorgan's collapse against Middlesex is continuing. They've fallen from 76-2 to 103-7 in Cardiff.

Derbyshire keep on chipping away at Northants who are 134-4 having just lost Karun Nair to Zak Chappell for six.

  16. 100 up for Nottinghamshirepublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 17 May

    Notts 102-6 v Hants

Calvin Harrison batting for NottinghamshireImage source, Rex Features

A ripple of applause greets the Nottinghamshire 100 - largely because of this partnership between Lyndon James and Calvin Harrison, which has just passed 50.

Harrison secures both landmarks with one stroke for three off James Fuller and he moves along to 18, while James has 32 so far.

Frustrating afternoon so far for Hampshire, who have just dropped James for the second time - an edge off Fuller that was spilled by second slip.

  17. Postpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 17 May

    Surrey 180-6 v Worcs

Incredible start from Jordan Clark, who hits four fours in his first four deliveries!

Two are clipped away through the leg side and and two are driven on the front foot through cover.

This game has been loaded with drama.

    17 runs off that over.

  18. Stokes' 172nd Durham wicketpublished at 14:43 British Summer Time 17 May

    Lancs 163-2 v Durham

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

England captain Ben Stokes was in his ninth over when he got his first wicket of the day.

Josh Bohannon looked to pull a ball out to the square leg boundary and was caught by Callum Parkinson for 39.

Stokes is playing in his first game for two years for Durham and that is his 172nd wicket for the club.

Meanwhile at the other end the former Durham opener Keaton Jennings is going about his business nicely and has 87 runs. The knock includes 13 fours.

  19. Postpublished at 14:43 British Summer Time 17 May

    Somerset 192-4 v Kent

Keeper Harry Finch is standing up to George Garrett.

Tom Banton drives without clearing the field.

    Maiden over.

  20. 'Essex want to wrap it up'published at 14:39 British Summer Time 17 May

    Essex v Warwickshire 113-6

    Glenn Speller
    BBC Essex sport

Jacob Bethell had done such a good job for his team. It took him a long time to get off the mark but he stuck around, picked up a couple of boundaries on the way as well.

But now he has gone Essex will be thinking can we get this one wrapped up.

From Warwickshire's perspective, they need Ed Barnard to play quite a hand here now to get them up to anything that might look challenging but certainly Essex are right on top.

They were searching for that breakthrough and Tom Westley rotating his bowlers - seamers to short stints, swapping ends with them as well and eventually by doing all that they found the wicket that they required.
