He's missed it. It was almost too easy to play the ball away!

That's the eighth wicket down now.

It's just clipped the pad of James Fuller and rolled on to the stumps.

    There are three short legs!

Everyone is around the bat, it is a truly remarkable field.

Keith Barker is too experienced to be intimidated. He twice pads up to Jack Leach again as he eats through another over.

  16. 'It was a brilliant game of cricket'published at 17:20 BST 18 September

Notts beat Surrey by 20 runs

Nottinghamshire head coach Peter Moores is on the verge of claiming a fourth County Championship title with a third different county having won it twice with Sussex and once at Lancashire.

"We've had pressure all season but the past seven days, the Worcestershire game and here we're felt like we've been under pressure all game," Moores told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"It was a game both sides went really hard at - it was a brilliant game of cricket and it's great to come out on the good side of it.

"Haseeb Hameed (captain) looked calm throughout and to bring on (spinner) Liam Patterson-White was an inspired choice which opened the door.

"Surrey kept coming at us because I don't think they expected to lose - when we came here we wanted to play, we didn't want weather (to interfere). The guys won the game themselves."

On being docked one point for a slow over rate:

"It feels tough because boith sides were doing it right and captains have to take time to set the fields and we've missed it by a few seconds. It is what it is and we move on."

On England fast bowler Josh Tongue's contribution of eight wickets:

"You all play because you want to play for your country but sometimes the moments with your county, your mates who you've grafted with, they're as significant as any you'll have and with Josh he's had a brilliant game and I hope they let him play in that final game."
