    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 193-7

Runs are a time-wasting tactic for Hampshire.

James Fuller flicks off his leg for four and that eats up a few valuable seconds.

Three balls later he rocks back and scores another boundary.

Somerset are sprinting to collect the ball each time.

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 185-7

Keith Barker smoothers four balls before leaving one outside off stump.

20 minutes to go. Three wickets needed.

Every Gloucestershire run is being met with huge cheers from the home dressing room and indeed the home fans in attendance.

  4. LANCASHIRE DRAW WITH MIDDLESEXpublished at 17:09 BST 18 September
    Breaking

    Lancashire 375-5 dec v Middlesex 211 & 99-4

Tom Bailey sends down a no-ball and the teams decide that is the moment to shake hands, despite Middlesex still needing another 65 to achieve parity - a result which seals promotion for Glamorgan.

Middlesex's own promotion hopes come to an end after a final day which was enlivened earlier on by a stand of 113 between Josh Bohannon, who hit 87 off 69 balls and Keaton Jennings (61).

Matty Hurst weighed in with an unbeaten 67 before the declaration came, with Lancashire 164 ahead on first innings.

With an attack minus injured Jimmy Anderson, they did not have the penetration to force a win, but Bailey finished with 3-47.

    Organ c Thomas b Leach 4 (Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 185-7)

    Another ridiculous catch!

Diving forward with a helmet on at first slip from Josh Thomas.

Thomas didn't start this match, but came in this morning for the concussed Tom Abell, and is putting his name in the frame for heroics.

Felix Organ is the man to depart for four off 82 balls in an hour and a half.

    Somerset couldn't, could they?

  6. Postpublished at 17:06 BST 18 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 185-6

James Fuller drills one through point to double his score to eight.

He has faced 44 balls, Organ has faced 81 - they have been together for 45 minutes.

  7. MATCH DRAWN BETWEEN DURHAM & WORCESTERSHIREpublished at 17:05 BST 18 September
    Breaking

Moments after Will Rhodes brings up his 150, Ben Raine sweeps out to a fielder in the deep and takes Durham to 450.

The teams come together, shake hands and that is that at Chester-le-Street.

  8. Postpublished at 17:03 BST 18 September

    Lancs 375-5 dec v Middx 211 & 92-4

That is too short from Arav Shetty and Ryan Higgins cuts for four.

He tries his luck from round the wicket and induces a leading edge but the ball lobs back short of the bowler.

Higgins pushes forward to the next and an outside edge runs down to third man for another boundary.

  9. Postpublished at 17:03 BST 18 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 181-6

We've got to the stage where Somerset have nine fielders around the bat.

Only the bowler and Lewis Goldsworthy aren't in catching positions for Jack Leach. The silly mid-off is an inch from being on the cut strip.

But Felix Organ and James Fuller remain solid.

Archie Vaughan is back...can he be the hero? He already has five wickets in this innings.

    Durham 442-6 v Worcs 591-9 dec

One suspects Durham are going to get to 450 and shake hands.

Will Rhodes and Ben Raine knock Jake Libby's latest over around to take the hosts to 442...

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 181-6

    Half an hour to go!

    What can Somerset muster up?

Kasey Aldridge managed to put James Fuller on his backside with a bouncer in the last over.

    Hollman b Bailey 33 (Lancs 375-5 dec v Middx 211 & 84-4)

A little bit of a lazy stroke by Luke Hollman, who chops the ball into his stumps to give Tom Bailey his third wicket.

The umpires confer about the light. Ben Geddes comes to the middle.

  13. Postpublished at 16:57 BST 18 September

    Lancs 375-5 dec v Middx 211 & 84-3

Luke Hollman seizes on a full toss from Tom Bailey and pounds it to the cover boundary. He is 33 not out, Middlesex are now 80 behind.

  14. Postpublished at 16:53 BST 18 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 181-6

Kasey Aldridge isn't happy with Felix Organ.

The batter is engaging in some time-wasting at the non-strikers' end and doesn't get out the way of the bowler in time.

A stare and a gentle shoo motion with his hand is fired in Organ's direction.

    Phillips c Keogh b Broad 2 (Gloucs 11-1 - target 158)

Gloucestershire take 10 from the first over of this chase - a signal of their intent perhaps.

However, Joe Phillips spoons an easy catch to Rob Keogh at midwicket in the second over, bringing Ollie Price to the crease.

  16. Postpublished at 16:50 BST 18 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 181-6

    Hampshire have a plan.

Felix Organ is taking Archie Vaughan, James Fuller is only going to face Jack Leach.

A smart idea, as both batters can just get used to one bowler.

Saying that, Fuller now has Kasey Aldridge to contend with, as Somerset move away from spin.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:49 BST 18 September

    Clark c&b Libby 29 (Durham 415-6 v Worcs 591-9 dec)

    A bizarre dismissal.

Graham Clark and Will Rhodes have been attacking everything out there, but Clark chips an innocuous delivery back to Jake Libby and has to go.

  18. Postpublished at 16:47 BST 18 September

    Lancs 375-5 dec v Middx 211 & 74-3

Tom Bailey almost squeezes one through Luke Hollman's defences but the Middlesex man jabs hit bat down on it in the nick of time.

Another tidy over from the Lancashire paceman, who is bowling spin because of the light.

  19. Postpublished at 16:47 BST 18 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 181-6

Another over, another maiden - 49 now in this innings.

It concludes with Jack Leach beating James Fuller's outside edge. The spinner really has been luckless today.

  20. Postpublished at 16:41 BST 18 September

    Somerset 454-8 dec v Hampshire 172 & 181-6

James Fuller is finally off the mark after 18 balls - not that it matters.

He rocks onto the back foot and punches through the covers for four.
