    Cross 5-4 Price

Prior to the previous leg, Rob Cross's average was in the 80s and yet now he's a leg from victory.

It's double 10 to hold in 18 darts. Not vintage from Voltage but Gerwyn Price was still a long way back.

That was a huge shot from Gerwyn Price, he knows how important that leg is. He's got to find a way to break though.

Big celebration from Gerwyn Price after a big checkout!

    Cross 4-3 Price

Another leg, another missed opportunity for Gerwyn Price.

The Welshman was dominant again before Rob Cross nearly nicked it with a 118 out - missing double 11.

Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price have both struggled for consistency throughout this match.

All square after six legs feels about right.

Chances for both men in this leg before Rob Cross takes it.

Gerwyn Price is left shaking his head, though. Four missed darts for a 4-2 lead will do that.

He nearly took out 132 brilliantly, getting two bullseyes before narrowly missing double 16.

But he couldn't close it out and Cross breaks back.

Gerwyn Price has turned this one around.

The Ice Man was well clear in the leg before a 180 from Rob Cross gave him a chance.

When Price misses tops to clinch it, Cross has a big chance but two missed darts at double prove costly.

Double 10 secures a third leg on the bounce for Price.

    Cross 2-2 Price

    We're all square.

Gerwyn Price hits tops to hold and make it 2-2.

The scoring wasn't quite as impressive in that leg but nor was Rob Cross' - a 180 coming too late to make a difference.

  14. Price breaks backpublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 8 May

    Cross 2-1 Price

Much more like it from Gerwyn Price.

The Welshman starts with the first 180 of the night and gets himself down to double two after nine darts.

Eventually it's a 12-darter, secured on double one, after Rob Cross misses the bull for a 161 out.

Luke Humphries has a yellow Leeds United-themed shirt especially for tonight, but Gerwyn Price has also gone for a white, yellow and blue shirt to recognise the Leeds crowd.

With Humphries not in action until the third quarter-final, you could feel as if Humphries' thunder has been slightly stolen.

  17. Cross breakspublished at 19:25 British Summer Time 8 May

    Cross 2-0 Price

Gerwyn Price is wearing a white shirt with blue and yellow trim in a nod to Leeds United.

Whether it endears him to the locals remains to be seen but he is already up against it.

After missing a top at tops for a 120 out, Rob Cross comes close to taking out 125 but also misses tops.

But when Price misses twice on double 10 then again at double five, Cross return to hit double 10 to break.

Steady start from both players but nothing spectacular.

Rob Cross secures the hold with double 16 for a 64 checkout.

With Gerwyn Price waiting on 40, Voltage needed to get it as well.

A few technical issues at the First Direct Arena ahead of the first match between Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price.

The announcements from MC John McDonald could not be heard in the stadium, so Price and Cross could not hear their names being called and had to be prompted to walk up to the stage.
