    Clayton v Price

    Round four is upon us...

Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton have made their way to the stage and I think the latter edged the battle of the walk-ons.

Johnny B Goode getting a better reaction from the Ally Pally crowd than Ice, Ice Baby. Advantage, Clayton.

Gerwyn Price had to dig deep in the last round against Joe Cullen and we saw by his reaction how much it meant to him. He seems to be spurred on by the fact he missed the out on the Matchplay.

Robert Owen talking to Sky Sports: "The last game was the biggest game of my life, but this one really was. He's a great player, now can I say it? 'Now, I've retained my tour card!'.

"Throughout I was saying 'I'm here' in Welsh. I'm here for my family and to give us a good life. That is what I'm here for and hopefully I'll do the same in the next round, but I don't care.

"I can do a lot better than that. I've averaged 105-106 and 115-116 and I know I've got a lot more in the locker. I thought I played OK but I know I can do better than that."

    Evans 2-3 Owen (0-2)

Robert Owen is one leg away from the last 16.

More boos as he celebrates a break of throw. He misses double 18 for a 156 checkout but comes back to get it on his next visit.

In between, a glum-looking Ricky Evans narrowly misses the bull for a ton-plus finish of his own.

Ricky Evans plays in spells and you can't rule out that he'll find something here. When he is off it though, he is choppy.

Robert Owen is pumped up as he breaks to lead 3-2!

The crowd boo the Welshman but he's one set away from victory and a place in the last 16.

Ricky Evans had the darts but struggled to get going and Owen has the luxury of being able to afford a botched 93 out.

He still leaves himself just requiring tops and gets it with his next dart.

This is darts exactly how it is meant to be played. Don't expect to a lot of breaks of throw and be fierce when defending your throw.

Superb from Ricky Evans this time.

Both players have stepped it up in this set and exchange 180s in the leg - but it's the turn of the Englishman to finish emphatically.

    Treble 14, double 16 - an excellent two-dart finish for a 14-dart hold.
