It looked at though the chance had gone when he missed two at double 10 but Ricky Evans had thrown away the last dart of his previous visit.

He still had a couple of darts at double 18 but misses them both and Owen, after two more misses at the 10s, finds double five to force a decider.

It feels like both players need the break that is coming up after this set. There is a lot of energy and emotion being expended up there.

The pace is slowing just a little and both players have lost their way a tad.

Ricky Evans nearly makes a mockery of that statement by nearly taking out 138.

He misses the double 12, hitting the double nine instead but comes back to mop up.

Double three hit and Evans has the first break since the opening set.

Ricky Evans can count himself a little fortunate in that leg. It was the first sloppy leg in a while - it had been pretty efficient until then.

Not the best leg from either players but Ricky Evans hits double eight to take it.

That's now 12 legs without a break of throw.

This game is rattling along at some pace and Robert Owen quickly holds to begin the fourth set.

It's tops for a 14-darter.
