    Body-kicks, a Gam-jeon and a turning kick gives her an 11-3 lead with two minutes and 50 seconds left on the clock as they break.

    The Saturday night para-athletics action has begun at the Stade de France, with three field events currently being contested in the women's shot put F37 final, men's club throw F32 final and men's javelin throw F57 final.

    The first event up on the track is the women's 1500m T13 final, before GB's Thomas Young takes to the track and bids for gold in the men's 100m T38 final.

    Earlier today, ParalympicsGB's Amy Truesdale booked her place into the semi-final of the women's K44 +65kg para-taekwondo with a 30-9 victory over Morocco's Rajae Akermach.

    She now faces Mexico's Fernanda Vargas Fernandez for a place in tonight's final and that semi-final is up next.

    Victory for Krysten Coombs, who moves in to the quarter-finals of the men's SH6 singles.

    The Briton records an efficient win 21-12 21-10 to progress in second place in Group A, behind Hong Kong's Man Kai Chu whom he narrowly lost to in his opening match.

    British team-mate Jack Shephard will attempt to join him in the last eight when he faces France's Charles Noakes shortly.

    Over at Roland Garros, Lucy Shuker has won her women's wheelchair singles first-round tie against France's Charlotte Fairbank 6-4 7-5.

    There are two more wheelchair tennis first round matches with GB involvement currently taking place - Abbie Breakwell lost her first set 6-3 to the USA's Maylee Phelps, while Ben Bartram and Dahnon Ward are 6-4 3-4 up against Morocco's Lhaj Boukartacha and Said Himam in the men's doubles.

    India's Sivarajan Solaimalai isn't giving anything up, covering the court superbly and makes a series of brilliant dives to keep points alive.

    But GB's Krysten Coombs has taken charge of the second game at 15-9 and has his eyes firmly fixed on a place in the quarter-finals.

    Hamed Haghshenas' attempted review proves to be unsuccessful and instead, he is forced to cut the insurmountable deficit he has on Matt Bush.

    Bush holds on and is excellent, taking a 26-13 victory to book himself a victory in this semi-final.

    A medal, at least a silver, is guaranteed for Bush and ParalympicsGB.

    He will be back later this evening for the final.

    Matt Bush starts the second half with body kicks landed to go 16-6 ahead against Hamed Haghshenas, but Hagshenas does battle back to reach double figures himself at 18-11.

    At 23-11, with 33 seconds on the clock, a video card is handed in by Haghshenas' team in the hope of giving the Iranian any chance of a late turnaround.

    Jodie Grinham after reaching the semi-finals of the women's compound archery while seven months pregnant: "For one shot, I couldn't draw up my arrow because the baby was kicking so much.

    "I just rubbed my belly and said 'I know you are supporting me but we just need a minute'.

    "But it is a really nice thing and a lovely feeling and a reminder of actually the wider picture of why I am here and what I do. I enjoyed it."

    She will be in action again in the semi-final which is scheduled for 17:54 but they are running late here.

    Earlier today, Great Britain's Daniel Bethell made it three wins out of three in the group stage of the para-badminton men's singles SL3 to qualify for the semi-finals.

    Bethel, who was watched by Jurgen Klopp in his opening match against the former Liverpool manager's good friend Wojtek Czyz, completed a perfect start to his medal campaign by beating Ukraine's Oleksandr Chyrkov 2-0.

    Still to come today, Krysten Coombs is just getting under way in his match against India's Sivarajan Solaimalai in the men's SH6 category.

    Later, Jack Shephard and ParalympicsGB's first badminton player Rachel Choong will both return to action in their respective SH6 competitions.
