Two goals from striker Andy Owens helped Conference North leaders AFC Telford United to a 2-0 win at Stalybridge Celtic.
Owens scored his first goal after just eight minutes before making the game safe just past the hour when he got on to the end of Matty McGinn's cross.
Stalybridge had few moments to threaten a comeback, offering little in front of goal as Telford won comfortably.
The Bucks are two points clear of rivals North Ferriby with 10 games left.
But North Ferriby can go back top the top of the table, if they win their game in hand at Gainsborough in midweek.
