Jersey Bulls manager Gary Freeman has hailed the attitude of his side after their 3-0 win over Tadley Calleva.

An own goal early in the second half was added to when Jonny le Quesne doubled the lead with 10 minutes to go before substitute Luke Watson got the third goal in stoppage time.

The win keeps Bulls third in Combined Counties Premier Division South.

"The main thing for me was the performance and the attitude of the performance," Freeman said.

The win came almost three months after Bulls were beaten 4-2 at Tadley in what was their second loss in their opening three league games of the season.

"We had a bit of a wake-up call in August when we played Tadley and they caused us a few problems and scored goals, and we went on a good run of not conceding," Freeman added to BBC Radio Jersey.

"We wanted to make sure we were really solid and compact, and even in the first half we showed that, we didn't look like conceding and we created one or two chances.

"At half-time we spoke about keeping that intensity to our play without the ball, and I don't remember Euan van der Vliet making a save, we kept creating chances, and as the game went on they've tired as more and more chances came."
