Truro City striker Tyler Harvey has signed a new contract to stay at the National League South side for the "foreseeable future".

Harvey's new deal comes a fortnight after manager Paul Wotton signed a new "long-term contract" after the club was bought by the Canada-based consortium that owns Cornwall RLFC.

The 28-year-old has scored 125 goals in 215 appearances for the club.

The former Plymouth Argyle youngster first moved to City in 2017.

He has been with the White Tigers ever since, apart from a brief spell at Bath City in 2019.

Harvey helped Truro reach the first round of the FA Cup for the only time in 2017, scoring in the 3-1 loss at Charlton Athletic, and helped City win promotion to the sixth tier last season.

"I'm buzzing. It's a no-brainer for me. I've been at the club many years now so just a few more won't hurt," Harvey told the club website.
