Bayern forward Michael Olise plays a very clever ball over the top to fellow Londoner Harry Kane but Kane's shot is blocked by Tosin Adarabioyo, also from England's capital.

No back lift required. He takes it on the half turn, I don't mind that. You can see what he's trying to do.

  3. CLOSE!published at 20:41 BST 17 September

    Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

A first shot in anger from Alexander Isak!

Despite being surrounded by a couple of Atletico defenders, Isak shows great feet before creating space for himself and bending an attempt narrowly wide.

The home fans are out of their seats to applaud that.

    Wow!

    Bayern Munich 2-1 Chelsea

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live at Allianz Arena

Olise is an utter joy to watch. Everything is done at a calm pace. He is completely in control, not just of the ball but of everything around him.

He's not even needing to take Cucurella on, he's just pulling the Chelsea defence apart.

  6. Postpublished at 20:40 BST 17 September

    Bayern Munich 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella is getting booed by the home fans. It seems to happen every time he plays in Germany after a handball against the national team at Euro 2024.

There's a carnival atmosphere at Anfield. Atletico have had a decent spell of possession but the champions of England are in control thanks to those two early goals.

Jonathan Tah looks to have been a lucky boy there, forearm smash to Joao Pedro, should have been a red, weird decision not to look at that one.

  9. Postpublished at 20:39 BST 17 September

    Bayern Munich 2-1 Chelsea

Good opportunity for Chelsea. Michael Olise plays the ball into some space Marc Cucurella has left and Konrad Laimer drags his shot just wide.

  10. Postpublished at 20:38 BST 17 September

    PSG 1-0 Atalanta

This game should have been put to bed about 20 minutes ago but Atalanta will be more encouraged by the fact the scoreline is only 1-0.

Not only has it not hit his hand, its not come particularly close to his hand.

    Tom, Rotherham

I saw this as a Liverpool fan. Why on Earth is that even being reviewed? It was never a penalty in a million years!

  13. NO PENALTYpublished at 20:37 BST 17 September

    Liverpool 2-0 Atletico Madrid

After a check, the referee returns to the pitch to rule out the spot kick.

That would have been extremely harsh on Atletico had that been allowed.

  14. Postpublished at 20:37 BST 17 September

This has been a great response from Chelsea to going 2-0 down. Pedro Neto shoots over from 20 yards.

  20. Chelsea wanted Tah sent offpublished at 20:34 BST 17 September

    Bayern Munich 2-1 Chelsea

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport Chelsea reporter

It was a crazy 20 seconds leading up to Cole Palmer's goal, as Olise should have played in one of his teammates, but he slipped.

Chelsea then broke with pace to score but the Blues have also been asking for Jonathan Tah to be sent off for a clash with Joao Pedro in the build-up to the goal.

So much so that manager Enzo Maresca was booked for his complaints.
