  1. RED CARD FOR LUTONpublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Blackburn 2-0 Luton

Well, Luton haven't given up - but it's very hard to see a way back for Rob Edwards' side now as they go down to 10 men.

Liam Walsh had only been on the field for around 10 minutes, but an ugly foul on Yuki Ohashi earns him a straight red card.

The midfielder is ushered on his way by team-mate Carlton Morris and it's looking like another bad away day for the Hatters.

  2. goal

    Jobe Bellingham (75 mins)

    Dan Neil (73 mins)

Sunderland have fought back from 2-0 down!

  5. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:33 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Plymouth

Into the last 15 minutes at Bramall Lane and the Pilgrims have thrown on veteran striker Andre Gray in search of a late equaliser.

They've been good for a point today but it looks like another fruitless away day.

  6. goal

GOAL: Stoke 1-2 Cardiffpublished at 16:31 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Ben Gibson og (72 mins)

This could be a HUGE goal for Cardiff!

It's excellent play by Chris Willock who cuts inside and fires towards goal.

Stoke keeper Viktor Johansson makes the but the rebound flies in off defender Ben Gibson!

It's slightly fortuitous but Omer Riza and the Bluebirds following won't care one jot.

  7. Postpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

Just two goals in our six Championship games since the break and Sheffield Wednesday have scored both of them.

    Time for some late twists?

Into the last 20 minutes at the Riverside. Boro moving into the play-off spots as it stands.

    Can Millwall find a leveller?

Five of the Lions' past seven away league games have ended in draws...

  9. CLOSE!published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Middlesbrough 1-0 Millwall

Finn Azaz hits one from about 20 yards but it goes just wide of the post.

It's been much better so far in the second half from Sunderland.

  11. Postpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Swansea 2-1 Sunderland

Just one win in their past eight before today for Sunderland.

They fell 2-0 down early on in this but Dan Ballard's header got them back in it before the break.

They're getting on top now but can they find an equaliser?

  12. Postpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Blackburn 2-0 Luton

Carlton Morris is really having no luck this afternoon as he bundles his latest opportunity wide, having also been denied by Aynsley Pears earlier in this second half.

At the other end, former Rovers goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski has kept Luton's hopes alive by denying Harry Pickering a third for the home side.

Worth remembering, of course, that the Hatters snatched a very late goal to win it against Stoke in midweek...

  13. Postpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

Ryan Hardie's flicked header is saved by ex-Plymouth man Michael Cooper in the home goal.

    Stoke 1-1 Cardiff

Narcis Pelach has made a couple of changes for Stoke.

Emre Tezgel and Lynden Gooch have been brought on in place of Lewis Koumas and Million Manhoef.

Can they help the Potters end their six-game winless run?

  15. Postpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Sheff Utd 1-0 Plymouth

Credit where it's due for lowly Plymouth who are a goal down at league-leading Sheffield United.

Wayne Rooney's men have had more of the ball and more of the chances.

Can they get the goal to end Sheffield United's run of eight successive home wins without conceding?

  16. goal

GOAL: Oxford 1-3 Sheffield Wedpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    (Djeidi Gassama 61 mins)

Sheffield Wednesday are closing in on yet another away win as they go 3-1 up.

Classy finish for the third goal as Barry Bannan's ball to the feet of Michael Smith is helped on and Djeidi Gassama places his volley perfectly, just inside Jamie Cumming's left-hand post.

Danny Rohl had just raised a few eyebrows a minute or two before that goal, taking off both of the Owls' first two scorers. Josh Windass and Jamal Lowe have made way for Pol Valentin and Anthony Musaba.

  17. Which way will this go?published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 14 December 2024

    Swansea 2-1 Sunderland

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Not so long ago Swansea were a team who very hard to break down but lacked threat at the other end of the field.

That has flipped in the last few weeks, with Luke Williams' side looking far more menacing but conceding plenty of goals.

This has been another open contest - and as a result it feels like it could still go either way.

    He's attacked it well.

It's another great ball and another opportunity. I think the keeper got a touch on it.

You can see a couple of the Sheffield United players getting a bit frustrated now.
